Can best friends, man and woman, become more? Patience and Duke prove you can. They grew up together and were best friends. Duke leaves for the Marines without telling Patience, and she enters a loveless marriage. Ten years later they find their way back to each other. They begin by being friends and telling their stories over the years. They learn that they each loved the other more than just friends but couldn’t find a way to tell the other. It works out in the end. They finally get their happily ever after. I really enjoyed this book.

Loved it!!! Milana and Dane were great!! Milana wants to come back to Dane, after being away for eleven years pursuing her modeling career in California. When being blackmailed for so long she asks Dane for help, but things get worse. Dane wants Milana to prove that she will be loyal to not only him but to the Sindicato. The book ends in kind of a cliffhanger so I’ll be anxiously awaiting the next book to see what happens.

Such a good read! Marlowe and Heath’s story is a sweet and gentle love story. They take the time to get to really know each other. Marlowe’s best friend, Iris, and her sister, Lucy, keep her on her toes and help her through her doubts. In the end everything goes as it should.

Absolutely enjoyed this book!!! I started the series with book, so I’ll definitely will going back to read the other two. Grabbed my attention from the get go and kept. This book hits on a major issue in our country, Human trafficking and some possible outcomes for some of the women involved. Luckily Bryanna is saved by Damien and his team. Bryanna and Damien’s story is must read. So if you need a good read for a rainy day or just any day get this book.

I started this series with this book. I didn’t feel like I missed any important details by not starting with the first book in the series. The story line got my attention from the first chapter and kept it. I absolutely loved the story line. Kept me on edge. I love a book that makes me want to keep reading and not put it down and this one did just that. Now I’ll go back and read the first book and anxiously await the third.
