My goodness.
I fell in love with Trent. He has been broken beyond what He thought was repairable. Charlie has always seen past the mess to see the true wonderful man that lays beneath. Though she has been hurt on more than one occasion, Charlie is so strong. Life brings them back together. Both trying to put the past behind them to just be friends for her brother’s sake. I adored this story and their love. Sometimes family genes bring good and bad. They find out though that never defines them!

So so sweet! I loved how it gave the backstory and helped build the world they were currently living in. It was so realistic and relatable – I wanted MORE at the end! I would love to follow their story and see where life takes them simply because of how real the story was, including the thoughts they had in their heads and the feelings they showed each other. It’s a feel good love story that I found myself smiling and even laughing out loud to throughout the entire book!

This is literally a book I am going to recommend to everyone. The story was so good, it had a dash of touching moments as well as romantic drama and and inner pain among the characters that you could not help but feel for!

This book literally hooked me from the start. It showed me yes sometimes life can be a jerk especially when all is going perfect, and sometimes too perfect and everything you know and well trust and love comes crashing down on you and you do not know how to figure where to go in the fork in the road, but yet sometimes that decision is the very best one you could possibly make, without even knowing it!

This was exactly what happened to a lead character whom had the preference to go by the name of Charlie. She had the perfect life. A good job. Wonderful fiancé whom loved her so, and their wedding fast approaching. In a blink of an eye all of that and more in her soul as well as her heart was gone. Her wonderful husband to be ended up being a liar in more ways than one and Charlie was left in the end with a broken heart. And having to pick up the pieces onto where to start over again and basically continue on with this thing we call life.

Charlie goes back to her home town, a town she wanted to leave and forget and never think of re visiting. There are some good memories there sure, but as well as some painful ones that would very much possibly mess up her injured heart even more.

In this town contains whom we call Tank. A extremely close friend of her brother who she is very close to. Tank and Charlie were the couple that could have bee, maybe should have been, and never really got a chance to find out if they are meant to be. Tank was his own person. I believe he knew gaining any sort of feelings for his best friends sister was off the table, but does that still make it impossible to avoid? Tank was a man of a good heart, but also had his own issues he has to work through. He had a rough time growing up and had a bad opinion of himself, and basically felt he deserved nothing, but did he ever stop to think of the girl who simply adored him named Charlie? What under her smile did she think?

Charlie and Tank shared more than the lines of friendship than most do. They cared more for one another than the other every realized. They gave one another what ever they needed at times, hope, a shoulder to cry on, support, someone to vent to, and maybe even the greatest gift of all, an ability to repair each others heart and heal it so much they would never need anything else but the embrace of one another. They had a one night stand in the past adventures together. Quite possibly the most passionate and true night of happiness that either of them could ever hope or ever want to experience. Sadly being such close friends they closed that door and never wanted to re open it. Or did they?

As the story progressed on, the characters grew more and more and I got more and more sucked in I loved the character developments. Especially what I saw in Charlie and Tank. They both changed in different ways in strength and their heart. The biggest impact they had on me was when they finally through out everything realized how much they loved one another and basically truly deserved one another. And did not hold back on anything. And basically everything fell into place, it was as if this is what was meant to be, destiny, and this time no one was ever going to take it away.

Again this book was so easy to fall in love with. I will happily read more by this wonderful author. The story had that kind touch as well as that sexy passion I love reading in a good drama love story. I highly recommend this, and I assure you, you are going to be clapping for Tank and Charlie as much as I did, because I think we maybe all can think back of an chance missed or that we didn’t take, what would happen if we had a second chance? Would you really wanna pass it up again?

Loved it truly. It made me sleep easy upon completion. It was a book to end, that made me smile.

Repair: An Everyday Heroes World Novel is part of The Everyday Heroes World, which at this time has 71 books written by many different authors. Repair is written by Trish Williford and she is a new author to me. I really enjoyed this book. It was well written and the characters were amazingly complex. This book brought out all the feels in me. Charlie and Tank have some off the charts chemistry. This book had me laughing out loud one minute and reaching for a tissue the next. I’m looking forward to reading more from both Trish Williford and The Everyday Heroes World.

Repair by Trish Williford is an Everyday Heroes World Novel. This second chance contemporary romance is sweet and steamy!

Charlie has spent the last eight years in Denver, avoiding her home town like the plague after her last encounter with her brother’s best friend Tank. Denver was great. She had her dream job and her fiancée, until she didn’t. After ending the engagement, Charlie decided there wasn’t much worth sticking around Denver anymore as much as she loved her job so back home to Sunnyville it is. She knew there would be no way to avoid Tank so she decides to be proactive and clear the air and just try to be friends with him. Tank has other ideas. He may have promised Jude he wouldn’t run her out of town again but what if he can get it all right this time. He has to take a chance.

I loved Tank and Charlie. I definitely felt for Charlie at the beginning and felt so bad that Tank was pushing her away. This book was really good and I enjoyed the characters and the chemistry!

This was a great 2nd chance romance. Once I started I was pulled right in. We start out eight years in the past and we discover why Charlie stayed away so long. Now she is moving back after a huge betrayal by her fiance. She’s going to be working at the local hospital. Tank is Charlie’s best friend and he is the reason she left. She isn’t sure how things will go the first time she sees him.

Tank is surprised to hear Charlie is coming back to town. He has been waiting years to finally be able to talk to her. What will happen when they talk for the first time? Can they finally get what they both dreamed of?

Overall I really enjoyed this book. I loved all of the characters, they added a great element to the story. I will also laugh when I think of red glitter. The characters had great chemistry and I loved reading their story. I look forward to reading more from this author and series. 1-click and get started today.

Charlie and Trent hook up while he was grieving his father. They both say things that are hurtful and push the other away. Charlie goes off to Denver to finish nursing school and decides to stay and work in a trauma center.
After a long engagement and weeks before the wedding to a man she works with, another nurse comes forward and says she is pregnant with his child. Charlie’s world collapses and she decides to move home.
She knows Trent is still in their home town and she also knows she can’t avoid him as he is her older brother’s best friend. But can she just be friends with him? I love the layers in their relationship. They both have grown and have new looks on life but one thing has stayed the same, their love for each other.
This is a beautiful love story, it is the only one I have read of The Everyday Heroes World and will be looking for the other books. Thank you for letting me into this world!!

I loved this sweet and spicy story of Charlie and Trent. This story unfold with a span of years as they have know each other for most of their lifetime. Charlie falls for Trent (aka Tank) when they are young. When Tank’s father passes away, Tank looks to Charlie to get away from it all. Tank has been through a lot with his mother’s passing and his abusive alcoholic father. After a one night stand, Tank leaves Charlie hurt and drives her away with very unkind words. Years later after Charlie gets her nursing degree and stays in Denver for a few years, she returns home, as she was hurt by her
ex-fiancee’s infidelity that leads into a baby. Tank and Charlie still have the sparks from long ago, but will their be forgiveness on past hurts? I was rooting for Tank and Charlie for their happily every after like a few characters in the book were. This story is really fantastic and very hard to put down and I highly recommend this book if you love contemporary romance like I do!

Repair was a really good read! It was a short and sweet read as well. It was predictable in a sense, but still a really good comforting feel good read. This is a slight forbidden, second chance romance story with a lot of heart and heat. I was rooting for Tank the whole time while reading this novel. If you’re looking for a quick, light-hearted yet slightly emotional read this one is for you! I thoroughly enjoyed this book and can’t wait to read the next one!

Love the way this story is written! So smooth and it flows along so well plus it is entertaining. I easily read this late into the night. I just couldn’t get enough. The characters really drew me in. They have many ups and downs to work through. My favorite thing is how everyone is rooting for them to end up together.

I love Tank! When I first meet him..he was all over the place with his thoughts and emotions. When we reconnect it to see how much he has changed. His thoughts are settled and he knows what he wants. He seems more mature and the way he reacts to and treats Jared’s little sister..makes me love him even more!

Secondaries are wonderful! Jude is an excellent big brother and bestie. He hits all the marks of protective and caring. Justin seemed over the top at first but settled down nicely as the story moves along. He really slid into the best friend slot perfectly.

Overall I LOVED everything about this story and its characters. I eagerly look forward to Jared and even Dane’s stories. Well Done!

One to be enjoyed over and over

As a busy Mom who has always been a bookworm, I’ve grown attached to books like these. A quick, easy read that’s just as easy to love. Tank was perfect, perfectly imperfect, and so dang sweet. Charlie was hesitant, because he hurt her before, but who wouldn’t fall for Tank? I smiled like a goof, had a few good laughs (especially at the bar scene! “That’s not water is it?”) and teared up at all the love. Job well done, Trish Williford! Now I’m going to need Jude and Danes stories.

This book is a new favorite. First off – we have multiple tropes that I’m a sucker for like Brothers best friend, friends to lovers, nursing. Watching Charlie and Tank go from childhood best friends to falling head over heels in love with each other was great to watch. Watching who and what Charlie became throughout the 8 years that her and Tank were separated was truly a “if it’s meant to be it’ll be” moment. If you like forbidden love, and a LOT of good smut scenes this book is definitely the book for you! And can we talk about what a plot twist the author just threw in there towards the end! Had me sweating it a bit.

Repair: An Everyday Heroes World Novel is part of the The Everyday Heroes World and is written by Trish Williford. This author is like fine wine, each story just gets better. I loved the style, the context the words were written in, and the complexities of the characters. Each character was a little flawed, more than a little difficult and a lot passionate. Their attraction burned hot through many years before they got their act together. Their dance toward bliss was seductive, messy and tumultuous. It was a drawing addiction that had me mesmirised by every paragraph. I was under their spell. What a clever and insightful author Trish Williford is, who can captivate an audience and unveil a heated and emotional story that will amaze, stun and impress. 4 stars.

Repair: An Everyday Heroes World Novel (The Everyday Heroes World) by Trish Williford is a contemporary brother’s best friend second chance romance story. I have read a few stories from The Everyday Heroes World which are different stories by different authors. This sweet love story by Trish is a bit emotive as two people cross paths again and hopefully put their past behind them. One awkward night lies and secrets and a lot of heartache and water under the bridge that needs to be repaired to move forward. It is a quick and entertaining read.

I’m going to start by saying that this book was a lot of fun. However, it was also very sweet. Repair: An Everyday Heroes World Novel is by Trish Williford. This is the first book that I have read from her and was pleasantly surprised. This story follows Charlotte “Charlie” Hawkins. Charlie was living the life that she chose as a Nurse in Denver. She had what she thought was a perfect life. That is until her fiancé’s mistress comes forward with the fact that she is now pregnant with his baby! So with that being said, she goes back home where is she is faced with her brother’s best-friend Tank, who just happens to be someone that she has been in love with for a very long time.
I just enjoyed the banter between her, her brother and Tank. You can tell they are all really close. It was great to see the development of each of the characters. It was adorable seeing how much Tank really cares for Charlie. I was really engulfed in this book and how I felt like I was a part of their little crew and the story itself. I would really recommend this book to anyone who loves books that are sweet and sexy. I cannot wait to read more from this author and look forward to more sweetness and sexiness.

Charlotte grew up in Sunnyville, CA. For the last eight years, she has been a trauma nurse in Denver, CO. But she’s moving home. Yes, Sunnyville General is not a Level One trauma center like where she works in Denver, but nothing is holding her in Denver.

Trent, Tank, Easton has been best friends with Jude, Charlotte’s brother since his family moved to town. He almost messed that up eight years ago when he had a one night stand with his sister. Tank is convinced that Charlotte is the girl for him. Hopefully, he will be able to convince her that she saved his life then and made him a better person. He hopes to convince her that their love is the forever kind of love.

Repair is that wonderful kind of romance where past hurts can be left there and a future is found. Join Charlotte and Trent as they try to start over from the past.

I absolutely loved this book. The second chance love story always gets my attention and this one definitely did not disappoint. I feel like the characters were well developed and their stories weren’t overdrawn in detail. Charlie and Trent were very sweet and I loved the she was his redemption. There was the right amount of heat and sweet in this love story as well as reliability. I liked the dynamic of Charlie’s siblings as well as the other people in their lives. Also, the drama wasn’t drawn out and what was included fit well within the plot. It wasn’t forced or drawn out taking away from the main intent. This small town, second chance for love story really hit its mark.

(There was also an allusion to Dorothy from The Wizard of Oz and that there is no place like home. That earned some bonus points from me!)

Charlie and Tank have known each other for all their lives. These two are like two soulmates that take forever to realize that they are meant for each other. Having been friends since they were young, they have always been part of each other’s lives. A bad decision on the night of Tank’s father’s funeral tears them apart for eight years. After cheating relationships, failed attempts to see one another, fate brought them back together. Charlie has returned home to work at the local hospital. Tank has a chance for redemption. This book is fantastic. Charlie and Tank work through lies, challenges and health crisis. They even work through brothers that are best friends with Tank. The humor is blended in nicely. You’ll love to see how things turn out with Justin, Tank and Charlie. That had me falling off my chair laughing. The book is very entertaining with some romance, a a little steam and some drama. You might get a happy ending with a cliffhanger. This is book 1 of a series and I’m dying for Book 2 because I want to see what happens next.

Repair by Trish Williford is a contemporary romance novel set in K Bromberg’s Everyday Heroes World. I have been a huge fan of K Bromberg for years but until now had never read any of the novels set in her world. I’m now kicking myself for leaving it so late as I absolutely loved Repair and not just for the fleeting glimpse of Grant Malone.
The book is written in dual POV which is something I really love. We got to see the story from both Charlie and Tank’s POV. I love to read what’s going through the heads of both leading characters.
Charlie and Tank are both amazing characters and I loved reading their story. After a one night stand with Tank, Charlie moved away from home 8 years previously and is now back in town. Added to this is that Tank is the best friend of Charlie’s brother.
This is a book that is filled with angst which is another thing that I love in a romance novel. We also get some amazing steamy scenes which are HOT.
If you love a steamy, angsty contemporary romance with great, relatable characters then Repair is the book for you. Definitely recommend that others give this book a try. It’s a fantastic read.

I really enjoyed this love story. Its a really moving story about friends becoming lovers and all the problems that can follow it. The beautiful part of this book for me is Tank’s story. Throughout his childhood he has suffered loss and neglect and even as an adult he feels he is worthless and undeserving of love. However Charlie doesnt see him that way. She has loved him for years and one night together sends them into a spin. Charlie happy and looking to the future and Tank overcome by self doubt and pushing Charlie away.

8 years later Charlie returns and the connection between them is just as strong but with Charlie’s brother warning Tank off and Charlie’s emotions and upset from the past can they work together this time or are they best just forgetting what could have been and remain friends.

My heart  was broken for both Tank and Charlie. It was heartbreaking to read Tank feeling so down about his self worth that he would ruin something so good. And also reading the heartache Charlie went through when she got the man of her dreams only to lose him again the first time around.

Repair by Trish Williford is a novel in The Everyday Heroes World. It is a sweet second chance romance, with drama, past history, chemistry, and plenty of sizzle.
This book showed up on my recommended book feed, and it sparked my interest- so I grabbed a copy to explore. As is my first read from Trish Williford, I was intrigued to see what she could do with a story.
I was easily pulled into the story and thought the characters were very likeable. I really did enjoy this sweet story and am happy to find that Ms. Williford has more books published that I will be going back to for a one-click spree.
Charlies’ perfect world came to quite a messy end twelve months earlier. She left her old life behind for a fresh start in her hometown. Only problem is that moving home comes with certain complications- namely a hunk called Tank, her brother’s best friend. They share a past that was part of the reason she left and hadn’t returned for eight years. But she is determined not to let their past cause her any more angst- but that might not be quite so easy. What happens makes for a sweet and spicy read.

Thank you, Trish Williford!

The chapters go between the point of view of Charlie and Tank, destined to be together but too many obstacles interfere with their happily ever after. We begin with an early encounter between the two and jump years ahead to where the repair to their strife needs to occur. This is a sweet story of love and finding out who you are meant to be with. He characters were all relatable and fun to get to know. I was able to read this in a matter of hours and always appreciate a quick read with characters that you come to love. Trent “Tank” Easton has made a few questionable decisions in his life. What he said to Charlie, his best friend’s little sister, the day after his father’s funeral is one of those. What happened after that day, wasn’t.

Charlotte “Charlie” Hawkins has been in love with her brother’s best friend since she was 12 years old. Charlie never thought that Tank might share her feelings until the day of his father’s funeral. That night changed everything. Charlie stayed away from her hometown for 8 years because of what Tank said. Now she is back and plans to be friends with Tank. She can do that, right?

I fell in love with these characters for so many reasons. I thoroughly enjoy the sibling jousting between Charlie, Jude and Dane. My heart melted at Tank’s letter to Charlie. The small ways Tank shows his love for Charlie are endearing. Tank’s relationship with Shirley. Tank’s reaction to Justin’s relationship with Charlie. While you are in their world, you feel like you have grown up in their small town. I will be reading the next episode in this series!

Repair Me! Gosh, I loved this love story. There’s always that one person you think about, or have, that you had and have built a long lasting friendship with, or better yet, relationship with, and this story fully dives into all the feelings, and problems that can come from such scenarios. Charlie and Tank have a long, and tumultuous history, filled with loss, and heartache, but don’t forget about the good things, the love they’ve shared, albeit within the confines of friendship, and the way they have supported each other, through thick and thin. Reading this novel tugged at my heartstrings, as you become so attached to Charlie, who is a kick-butt nurse, passionate about all those around her, and Tank, who has battled his own demons and come out stronger for it. I loved getting to know both their characters through the talents of Trish Williford, her writing coming across strong, and allowing you to visualize and connect with all those things, and people she introduces along the way. I am very excited to read the next installment and see how things turn out for Charlies brother, Jude! If you’re ready to fall deeper in love with your people, give this a read! It’ll have you appreciating all the small things in today’s crazy world. Thank you, Trish!

Repair (Rescue Me Book 1) by Trish Williford
Until a year ago, my life in Denver was nearly picture perfect; I had my dream job as a nurse in a level one trauma center, my handsome trauma surgeon fiancé and I were blissfully happy, and we had built our forever home we planned to spend forever in. Just weeks before our wedding, the ideal life I knew took an unexpected turn when my fiancé’s mistress came forward with her pregnancy.
Being newly single at thirty-one, the last thing I had envisioned for myself was to return to my hometown of Sunnyville, California. Until now, I have successfully avoided this town for the last eight years, thanks to Tank Easton. Broody, sexy, lying, beautiful, selfish jerk.
Who just happens to be my brother’s best friend.
Knowing there is no way to avoid Tank, I plan to put our one-night stand behind us and start anew. Be cordial. Possibly become friends eventually, for my brother’s sake. Life is too short to hold grudges. Forgive and forget, right?
Harder said than done.
