Shattered ( The Torzial Affair Book 1) is the first book in The Torzial Affair series is a book that once you start reading you will not want to put it down till the last page. I’ve read other books and series by this Author. There may be some triggers for some people in this book. We met Jenny in the Prestian Series and know we get her story. This is Jenny and Brian story. She owns a consulting firm, she’s very dedicated to her business. But she’s secretly dealing with some emotional scars. Then she meets Brian who doesn’t do relationships until he meets Jenny. These two are definitely attracted to each other. Both are in each other’s thoughts. I found myself a emotional mess at times. They were all over the place . Find out what happens next. Can Brian and Jenny have a future together? I highly recommend this book. I can’t wait to read the next Book in this series.

Having read and loved the Prestian series by this author I couldn’t wait to get started on Shattered which is the first book in the Torzial Affair series and what a start to the series it was! I was hooked from the very first page until the last! The story was excellently written, there are some tougher parts to read however the author write about them carefully and respectfully. I really do absolutely love everything that I have read by this author.
The main characters Jenny and Brian were captivating to read about and having met them in the previous story I was really excited to see how their story would progress! Their story had it emotional parts but the connection that they had was amazing. Brian might be a controlling dominant but there was another side to him and he wanted to help Jenny overcome her demons.
I am very excited to read the next book in the series, Bound, to see where Jenny and Brian’s relationship goes!

Shattered by Via Mari a five-star read that will shatter you. This is the first novel in the Torzial affair series, and it shows promise of a great series to come. This is filled with drama and suspense, with some light humour and some other stuff thrown in for good measure. This author has a great way of bringing the characters to life and showing you their multi-faceted sides, showing us how the deal with new experiences in such a great way that you will feel liken your experiencing them at the same times. Jenny and Brian are great characters and they will surprise you with their strength. Their story is sublime and one that you will enjoy, once you read this one, you won’t be long until you get number two.

I’m not going to lie, I couldn’t get this book open fast enough as soon as it hit my kindle. I loved the Prestian Series from Via Mari, so knowing that this was a spin-off with characters that I had already grown to love I was dying to see what Ms. Mari had in store for them. Boy oh boy she did not disappoint, especially given my high expectations. I have a feeling that the Torzial Affair books will be something I am going to adore. I am going to note that it would probably super beneficial to read the Prestian series before you dive into this one. There is just something special about having the full story and knowing these characters lives.

In Torizal Affair we find out all about Jenny, Kate’s best friend. I love Jenny, no lie probably more than I thought I loved Kate. She is one strong and amazing gal and reading her story, while at times difficult and possibly triggering for some, was truly one of my favorite reading times this year so far. I love how you can see Via Mari’s growth as a writer and truly with the grace she wrote Jenny’s story it is evident once again that she has some pretty amazing author skills. You won’t get much as far as spoilers of more details from me, I won’t spoil the goods for you, but take my word for it that this book and the Prestian series is one that you don’t want to miss.

Jenny Torzial is highly successful in her professional life as the owner of a consulting company on the verge of national recognition. Her spirited façade belies the emotional scars gouged by the man she thought would someday be her husband.

Brian Carrington, the cocky, extremely reactive heir to the Carrington Steel empire, has concluded that women only want one thing from him – his money and the prestige of his last name. Investing no emotional energy in one-night stands, he has developed the ultimate guard for his wealth, status, and heart.

What will happen when their worlds collide into a dominant and submissive power exchange? Can they overcome the demons of her past as he is thrust into the role of protector?

Via Mari lives in the Midwest with her husband and their loveable fur baby. As a child who was raised in both the United States and the United Kingdom, she spent countless hours traveling and developed a passion for the written word at a young age.

She is an avid reader of romance. In fact, you can still find her curled up in an overstuffed chair, especially during winter when the wood fire is crackling and popping, reading a page-turning novel until the early hours of the morning.

As she began researching and writing love scenes for her own series, it became apparent there seemed to be a cultural divide between what people believed was normal sexual behavior, or vanilla, and that which people considered BDSM. She enjoys creating characters and scenes that allow the reader to safely explore what they would and would not be willing to try.

Romance with a twist of suspense. The suspense is the main character of this full length novel. The romance is just the rollercoaster this story supplies.

This continued story of Jenny and Brian had me on page one. The story continues to prove Jenny innocent of a horrible crime, she did not commit. Brian also continues the hot steamy romance, just to keep Jenny from thinking too much. As she is fighting for her life, as well as her friends. But the mafia wants what they want and will stop at nothing to get it.
This is book 3 in this series. It is very important you read the series in order. Or the whole story can’t rock your read. This book is just another Via Mari story. Her writing skills and storytelling are outstanding. I love her characters in the Torzial series. I also love that she has so many avenues she takes her readers too. Not a dull moment in this story. I can’t wait to see where her next series takes me. Keep them coming Via Mari. I can’t wait to read more.

Claimed by Via Mari is third and final book in the Torzial Affair series. This is the second complete series have read by this author and haven’t been disappointed in anything. She developed a great alpha male as the lead while the lead female while submissive isn’t a push over by any stretch of the imagination.

Jenny has come so far since the garbage with Ty though the past isn’t quite done with her. She has been through so much and continues to impress.

Brian has done a lot of growing and changing through this series. The Brian in this book is opposite of the one we met in Chase and Katerina’s series.

There are a few people in the two series I would like to see have their very own series. Fingers crossed!

Claimed is book three in the Torzial Affair series by Via Mari. It is the stunning conclusion of Brian and Jenny’s emotional, suspenseful and thrilling journey. It has been a long and arduous journey, fraught with danger, tension, intrigue and love. Their love was hard fought and questioned by them many times throughout this saga.  I was not convinced their tale would end happily. I was praying they got their HEA together. They deserved their happy ending, and I fought along side of them right until the end. This author gives a descriptive and deeply emotional description of a love story. I felt frustrated with both characters at times, venting to no-one, and hoping that they could get it together.  My heart was full with mixed feelings. I wanted to read like it was my last book, but at the same time desperately tried to slow down to draw out the bittersweet intensity that followed this couple everywhere. The secondary characters were amazing and the story continued effortlessly along, blending the new with the old. It was incredible to read the Torzial Affair books, and it was an experience I will never forget and will cherish always. 5 stars.

This is book 3 of a trilogy and it picks up where book 2 left off. This SHOULD NOT be read as a stand-alone.

CLAIMED (The Torzial Affair Book 3) brings the trilogy together. It is not, however, immediately tied in a nice pretty bow. There is a lot still going on which kept me frantically turning the pages to get to the very end. For a variety of reasons, I was unable to read this series back to back and typically it would take me a few minutes to acclimate back to the characters in the book. NOT A PROBLEM WITH THIS TRILOGY. The books are one epic tale and from the very first page, I was in love with this series.

The Torzial Affair is a spin off of the Prestian Series and I am usually a bigger fan of the OG, but not in this case. The writing is layered and complex. Scenes move the story along and are written very visually. Threads from the previous books/series are woven together in a tapestry so full and rich, that it’s difficult to put these characters down.

I absolutely recommend this series. As I have said in each review, do NOT short change yourself and read out of order.

Am I the only one that wants a billionaire stud with a playroom who insists on taking care of all of my problems while tending to my every sexual desire? Anyone? I am not alone? Good. So that’s the fantasy part of this story. But that’s a good thing. The rest of the story is about more trust than ever. Jenny needs to trust Brian even more than in book 2. Oh, and yes you must read the first two books before this one.

I really liked this story, in fact this whole series. Brian and Jenny are put to the test through the accusation of Ty’s death, through fighting the Mafia and even through fighting jealous people.

Mari’s writing style keeps the story flowing. Mixing sexual adventure with the mystery of the Mafia makes for an interesting read. I look forward to what else Mari brings us.

Claimed is the third and the last book in The Torzial series. To get the full effect of this series I would suggest that you start with book one Shattered, move on to book two Bound and finally Claimed. You will not regret reading this whole series and I have to say it’s kinda sad that its finished. This series just got better as the series went on and I have to say Claimed is my favourite book of the series, I don’t normally pick a favourite book in a series but this time I did. Via just seems to have such a passion in her writing and that comes through with the strengths we read in her characters. Thank you, Via, for such and awesome series and like I said before it’s kinda sad that this series has ended.

Claimed is book 3 in The Torzial Affair by Via Mari might have been the best in the series. Just a far waring this book has some intense BDSM scenes in it. With one of Jenny’s problems dealt with now, they just have to figure out how to deal with the mafia. All I’m going to say is – Matt to the rescue this time. I think Brian and Jenny were their hottest in this book and Brian’s dirty mouth was even dirtier –YUM!

Via what can I say about your writing that hasn’t been said yet. Great characters, twist/action and of course great steamy panty melting moments. After reading this series, I am definitely going to go back and read Chase and Kate’s story – I just need to know how everything started.

Claimed is the third and final instalment in the Torzial series by Via Mari. I have loved this series, far more than I ever expected- the series really captivated me, and loved every minute that I spent between its pages. I really liked the Prestian series, but I can honestly say that this book and series, are my favourite reads of Ms. Mari’s. They have eclipsed the Prestian series, in my eyes, and left me wanting much more of Ms. Mari’s work.
This book picks up right where the previous book left off, so, if you haven’t done so, I really recommend reading the first two books before starting on this one. Just so you are up to date with all the important factors, bridging storyline/s, and exciting developments- that will allow you to both follow and understand all the interconnected threads of the storyline. You don’t need to have read the Prestian books to enjoy this series, but as it has some shared/ recurring characters, as well as some timeline/storyline elements- I would recommend it- as it will definitely enhance your reading experience.
As with the other two books, this is a romantic suspense that’s full of action, danger, secrets, hidden agendas, humour, mystery, lots more sexual exploration & awakening, some light bondage, spanking, red hot sizzling scenes, mafia, twists and turns, surprising developments, revelations, intrigue and lots, lots more! There is so much going on in the story, but Ms. Mari orchestrates everything quite effortlessly, keeping me enthralled- and in breathless with anticipation. Ms. Mari really seems to have hit her stride with these books, and seems totally comfortable and at ease with her craft- and it really shows in this well written and captivating story!
This is primarily a suspense story- with a great erotic romance woven through it. I love how Via Mari is able to build such intense tension, chemistry, and intrigue- but manages to balance it all with lots of emotion, tenderness, and a little bit of humour.
After the intense developments in the last book, things are not quite ‘smooth sailing’ in this book. There are still some serious obstacles to overcome, and a lot at stake. Danger is an ever present threat. Their trust will be tested, again. So, will these two finally find a way to put all the danger behind them and embrace a future together? Or will the sinister forces win out in the end?
I really love these two, they are such fantastic characters- superbly crafted, with fully developed and complex personalities. I was completely immersed in their story, emotionally invested in them and their ‘lives’- strung out on all the detail, reading anxiously to discover what happens to them and how their story will ‘end’.
A brilliant conclusion to the series!

Thank you, Via Mari!

Bound is the second book in the Torzial Affair series by Via Mari and the suspense doesn’t let up in this book. We learn so much more about Jenny and how her time with Ty was not a good thing.

Jenny just can’t seem to catch a break, she is dealing with one thing after another. How she is able to come through without being a hot mess I have no idea. Any one of those things would have left me a blubbering pile of tears.

Brian finally grows up! He exerts his dominance over Jenny and all of the messed situations they are all going through.

I love Matt. That is all. ?

This is book 2 in the Torzial Affair series. Jenny and Brian are back right where book one left off and things get steamier, secondary characters get sneakier, and everyone’s trust gets tested.

We all know Jenny suffered at the hands of Ty. Now that Ty is dead you would think that Jenny’s life would be a little easier, but no, apparently the police seem to think that Jenny has killed Ty and Mari has to throw in a few more twists to test both Jenny and Brain.

I liked this book better than the first and can’t wait to see where book 3 takes us!

This story was full of everything I love in my books, I went through every feeling and emotion while reading and can not wait to reread this whole 2 series collection.

Not going to go into any details because it could ruin something for someone that hasnt read any of them yet, just take my advice and read them all, you won’t be sorry and you will find yourself having another author that joins your list of favorites and an automatic one click.

This is book 2 of a trilogy and should not be read as a stand-alone.

Often times the second book of a trilogy is the weakest. A book that connects the first and third and is mainly filler. That is NOT the case with BOUND!!!!

This installment of the series moves very quickly and intensely. It is a mystery/suspense with a game of cat and mouse thrown in for good measure. Oh and consensual BDSM and exploring sexual appetites.

Told in a dual point of view, this story takes us on a rollercoaster of emotion and energy. There is so much I would like to say about the story, but I don’t want to give anything away.

I will simply say… Read this book, it’s good!!

Bound (The Torzial Affair Book 2) by Via Mari is the second book in the Torzial Affair series and you really need to read book 1 to understand this book. It’s the story of Jenny Torzial & Brian Carrington, who we met in Book 1. Jenny is a successful business woman, sexy, independent woman and Brian owns a major company and is used to women only wanting him for his money and title. Jenny and Brian are just getting to know each other and really have feelings for each other when Jenny is accused of killing her ex Ty. Ty had ties to the Mafia so they are after Jenny as well. Brian is doing everything he can to keep Jenny from spending the rest of her life in jail but money can’t buy everything. He’s also being told that Jenny is just like all the other girls and just wants him for his money. Will Jenny be found guilty of murder or will she be found innocent. Will Brian let down his guard enough to trust that Jenny really cares about him or will he believe all the lies being told about her. It’s such a good series and each book gets better. Bound is book two in the Torzial Affair series by Via Mari. The story of Jenny and Brian continues in this action filled, dramatic saga. This style of writing is very addictive and I found it quite hard to get anything done, other than to keep reading!

There is always so much going on in a Via Mari novel, but not too much that it is hard to keep up with the story. The plot is easy to follow, but also intensely mysterious. Many twists make this story unputdownable. It had a way of creeping past your defences and captivating you until you are at the last word of the book. A total escape from reality. Bound is a tale to immerse yourself into with wild abandon. Ever the entertainer, always pages upon pages of intrigue. 4 stars.

There is not a character in Bound that you aren’t going to like. Via has written this book as well as the first and there is no way I am going to say which one is better. The characters seem to bounce off each other which in my opinion makes for an awesome read. I do highly recommend you start with book one as it’s a brilliant way of getting background history. Jenny is accused of murdering her ex and is thrown into a heated dispute between mafia groups. This novel picks up right where book one ended and continues the story. I felt that this second book had more detail and action in it than the first book. The characters still moved around a lot but due to the circumstances with Jenny, it was understandable. I felt that Jenny and Brian’s characters were given more depth. I also liked having more background on Matt who was originally assigned to protect Jenny by Chase. I really enjoyed this novel and look forward to reading more in this series.
