With the kidnapping of his younger cousin, and the bloodshed at his cousin’s wedding it was time for the DaRosas to get payback and Emelia was as perfect as it came. Just like the first book in this series, the relationship between Dominic and Emelia is one of hot/cold with a whole lot of love/hate. One of the best acts of revenge that Emelia can get on her father is showing up to a family funeral on the arm of her father’s sworn enemy. Yet, again this author did not disappoint! This book was so full of action, love, war, and steamy at parts that I could not put it down nor did I want to. I needed to keep reading to find out what happened next.

This instalment focuses on Lorenzo and Isabella. Once again, the story was written well and almost comes to life on the pages whilst the chemistry between the characters sizzles and leaps off the pages.
I once again loved the female lead, Isaabella, she’s strong and independent, and fights for what she believes in, I admire that.
This book is full of action, danger and more. It is probably my favourite of the 3 books so far, not only because of the couple’s chemistry where I was rooting for them, but also because the storyline was not entirely as expected, it was so much better.
This series can be read as standalones but for the characters growth and underlying events which occur, I would recommend reading this series in order.

Adrianna is a sassy, spit-fire who needs to learn to do as she’s told and stop worrying about the thing she has no business worrying about. This Italian Crime Family was a non-stop page-turner. The emotional and sexual push and pull between Adrianna and Salvatore is so well written that you can feel it threw every page. I loved reading this story so much that I could not put the book down. I am going to continue reading this series.

Izzy Arden is a journalist, she is a determined woman who knows what she wants and the stubborn streak she needs to get it, especially in the cut throat world she works in, but she is known for her truth seeking and not mincing her words when she writes, but when she is confronted by a pair of dark eyes and a sexy body, she is more determined than ever to discover his secrets.
As soon as he lays eyes on her, Lorenzo recognised Izzy from across the room and immediately asks how she got there and who she was with, she should not have been able to access this area without a full background check and he is determined to discover how she did it, so when he confronts her in the elevator as he escorts her out, her quick wit and fiery temper match her red hair and hot body to match and this throws him completely off balance. This is the third book in the series and I could not wait to dig in! I have read numerous books by this author and absolutely LOVED this book! This book had me on pins and needles needing to know what was going to happen next! I could not put this book down and was hooked from the first sentence to the last chapter! This is the second book in this mafia romance series. Each book can be read as a standalone, but I advise you go back and read the first for a better understanding of some characters/the world the characters inhabit.
I loved the character of Emelia. She’s strong, determined to protect her family and she’s resourceful.
Dominic and Emelia had me invested in their relationship and the outcome, both characters showed themselves to be more than met the eye at face value and loyal to those they care about.
I thoroughly enjoyed this instalment in the series, and will get started on the next book immediately.

This is the third book in the Sicilian Gods Series. I have read all of them but I will say that each book works as a standalone. Each book is fantastic and they just keep getting better. Each book focuses on one family member. This book focuses on Lorenzo’s story and I must say that I was completely unable to put it down. The steam between Lorenzo and Izzy jumps of the page and leaves you wanting even more. I definitely recommend reading this as it features amazing characters and a wonderful story line.

This is a mafia romance which focuses on Salvatore Larussio and Adrianna. These two start out hating each other but as the events unfold, this grows into something more.
This story is full of suspense, action, secrets and of course romance. It’s a well-written and enjoyable to read with lovable characters.
I love Salvatore’s protectiveness and loyalty – he comes across as cold but underneath it, there’s more than meets the eye.
I admired Adrianna’s strength and independence, standing her ground even in the face of danger.
The two together share sizzling chemistry and I was rooting for them from the beginning. I’m glad I came across this book and will move onto the next book as soon as possible.

This is the third book in the Sicilian Gods series and omg they just keep getting better and better. I have loved all of these books and I do recommend reading them from the beginning so you get the complete story the crime families and why they are in the situation they are today. This is a enemies to lovers story based around a Mafia family and their bitter fights with other families. As you can imagine there is plenty of danger, threats, violence, secrets and lies that will get uncovered as the story develops. One thing I love about the men in the Larussio men is they are scary and they fight hard but they also protect and love the people closest to them just as hard. In this story we are with Lorenzo. At first I thought he was the most scary of the family. He is all business and doesn’t bat an eye at threatening people to protect his family. Which is how he encounters Izzy. Izzy is a determined reporter, scared of nothing and no one not even Lorenzo. But she is hiding secrets about her past too about who she truly is and why she is so determined to uncover the truth about the Larussio’s. The attraction between them is intense and something neither one of them can deny but with Izzy’s trust issues this isn’t going to be an easy romance. And with their enemies now looking at her as a way to bring down Lorenzo, he will protect her with everything he has and God help anyone who tries to take her away from him.
This is an amazing read that is full of twists and turns that I just couldn’t put down. This author delivers amazing books everytime and i can’t wait to see what is instore next.

Consigliere’s Revenge is the third book in the Sicilian Gods Series and is a Mafia Romance with a bit of suspense that once you start reading there’s no stopping until you finish. I devoured this book in one afternoon. As with any book by this author you are pulled into the characters world and feel everything they are experiencing. I’m a huge fan of Mafia Romance and a even bigger fan of this author. I never hesitate to read whatever she writes and I love each one. I highly recommend reading this series in order as each book is about a different couple but there are characters that overlap in each story plus you get a better idea of what has happened and you get to know the characters . This story is packed with drama, revenge, action, loyalty and so much more. Get ready for some serious sparks to fly in this intense story. I highly recommend reading to find out what happens next as you don’t want to miss it. As always I look forward to reading more from this Author.

I can’t believe that we are already three books into this series. That being said you can definitely read this is a stand alone but seriously why would you want to. You have two other books before this of amazing mafia men that you won’t want to miss out on. Okay, this book is hands down amazing and grips koi to the words within the first chapter. You won’t want to do anything else other than read what is on the pages. You will try to figure things out as you go along but you won’t be able to. That is what I loved the most about this book. When I thought it was going to go one way it went a different way. I am a huge fan of the mafia trope and these books do no let me down. You will find the right amount of suspense, steam, character development, and just honestly good writing. The book brings into the plot the other two books but if you haven’t read them, you will want to. However the author makes it to where you understand what is going on and aren’t left clueless. It is a quick read with the need to finish it in one day. I personally recommend reading the other two books in the series first because I love this series and the mafia men in them. However, if you don’t have time you will be fine. Lorenzo is the consigliere of the family and always does what is best for the family until he meets Izzy, a reporter who is writing stories about Mafia in Vegas. He intends to stop her but her attraction is too much for him. Can they find common ground or will they destroy each other? I get so excited when I start a new book in this series.

This was a 5 star read. I love dark and steamy and this book has it all. I was pulled right in from the beginning. Lorenzo and Izzy, I really enjoyed their story. Izzy has plans to reveal secrets and she shows up where she shouldn’t be. With his reputation being compromised Lorenzo has to deal with Izzy. But there is something about her that is pulling him in. Can he resist this feisty, nosy woman? If you’re looking for a great Mafia series to read, I suggest you 1-click and get started today on this series. This is book three, but you should really start with book 1. I can’t wait to read more from this author and series.

Book 2 begins at the De Rosa mansion when the Larussio’s come in at the end of book 1, when Dominic takes off to find the younger De Rosa children. It picks up very quickly and focuses on the magnetic attraction between Dominic Larussio and Emilia De Rosa as he snatches her to take to their warehouse for information.
Dominic realizes very quickly that Emilia is no little princess, shielded from everything their lives entail. In fact, she is wildly resourceful and has a major desire to help her family and bring down her enemy. Her lack of fear when faced with danger not only keeps her alive in many situations, but earns her Dominic’s admiration and respect, beyond his attraction to her and their magnetic pull towards one another.
There are some things Dominic chooses to keep to himself, both things from Sal and the family as well as from Emilia while he tries to balance everything, find out who is behind which terrible act and why, make a plan to protect his family and the woman he is falling in love with…with some good passionate sections and good brutality to make sure you don’t forget exactly who you’re reading about. Well written, nice world building, gritty without being grotesque, and characters you can’t help but root for.

Lorenzo has come to Las Vegas from the old country to help tie up loose ends from Sal taking the lead in the family and Dom becoming underboss, and their previously told stories. He knows that part of his job as Consigliere is to handle the stories that come out and spin things however they need.
In this case, he knows he needs to keep his eyes on the talented and gorgeous red headed reporter, Izzy Arden. She has been circling stories of the mafia issues arising between the Larussio’s and De Rosa’s. When she manages to steal a key card that gets her to the secret, members-only top floor it proves to be a push too far. Following them to the cemetary as they lay to rest the family lost at the wedding reception is what first gets Lorenzo to approach her and the burn of undeniable interest between them starts immediately.
Thus begins a delicate balancing act between what Izzy writes, what Lorenzo reads, the story she expertly weaves to lead anyone picking up a paper to believe what she wants them to believe…and the risks involved in getting in a relationship with a mafia man. Their passion is explosive, the weaving together and tying loose ends between the previous two books is artful, and it is a fascinating back and forth between seeing how dark Lorenzo can be while also being a fair man who can love deeply and sincerely.

Lorenzo hires a somewhat frustrating journalist to start to spin stories in their favor, but he definitely got more than he bargained for. While this is the third installment of the Sicilian Gods Series, you can read this as a standalone. Though you won’t want to. You’ll want to know each and every character’s story!

OMG I LOVED this book! From beginning to end I was completely hooked by what I was reading. I’ve read so many of this authors book now that I don’t even bother reading the synopsis I just grab and start reading and as per usual I was not disappointed. I honestly don’t know how she does it every time I say that’s my favourite until I read the next one! This book was just fantastic, this book is definitely dark and delicious from the very start. Lorenzo and Izzy’s story was amazing, she was definitely a match for him and I loved that about the two characters. Book 2 in the Sicilian Gods series, this book is about Dominic and Emelia are from two enemy families. I really enjoyed getting to know more about Dominic in this book and love the continuation of the first book spilling into this second book. The author did a great job keeping the story moving and adding the new characters into it. I had a hard time putting the book down at bed time or whenever I had a few minutes to read it.

It’s been a while since I read a book by this author. The author does a wonderful job building the world of the Italian Crime Family of Larussios. The characters are also well written and easy to connect with. I liked the spunky but calm Doctor Adrianna who isn’t scared to step up and put Salvatore in his place. True, most of us don’t come in contact with mafia bosses in our regular day to day world but it sure is fun to read about a family like the Larussios! Oh and what will happen between Salvatore and Adrianna when the truth comes out about her family.

This series is amazing! This is book three and although it can be read as a stand-alone, I suggest reading them all. Not only will you get a better understanding of the back story but they are so good.
This book centres on Lorenzo and Isabella. She is a head strong, driven journalist who through her stories hopes to bring down the family. Yet she is a reporter with integrity, only wanting to reveal the truth. With some personal issues behind what she does, she walks courageously into dangerous situations.
Lorenzo, being the consigliere, is always watching to protect the family. Getting rid of this nosy reporter is top on his list. She already knows too much and is smart enough to uncover more. Although he knows he should bury her, he can’t fight the attraction.
This is another book filled with danger, secrets, action and passion. It will keep you on the edge of your seat. The chemistry between the two main characters is off the charts. I loved them both. This is a fantastic addition to the series that I highly recommend.

Izzy is a reporter bent on writing articles for sale about the local Mafia in Las Vegas. Lorenzo is the Consigliere for that same Mafia and wants nothing more than to stop her in her tracks. When they collide, sparks fly but can they trust each other? Opinion If Via Mari writes it, I read it. Mari is my go to author for when I am in the mood for a Mafia romance. The way she is able to convey a dangerous world but make the women feel so protected in it amazes me. This book is no different. With this book, Mari is able to show her skills in bringing together people who shouldn’t make sense. A journalist and someone who routinely breaks the law should not get along but they do. I loved this book from start to finish and look forward to more.

This is the third book in the Sicilian God’s series and it is just as good as the first two in this series. This author writes exceptional dark mafia stories that keeps me entertained and turning pages to find out what happens next. This story is full of suspense, action, danger, romance, great characters and so much more. This is Izzy and Lorenzo’s story. Izzy and Lorenzo don’t start out on the best terms even though the attraction is off the charts. This is a must read to find out where their story takes them. This author will have you so enthralled in this book that you won’t be able to put it down until you get to the end. I highly recommend this book.

I really enjoy this series. This book is no exception. I love all of the ups and downs, the different lifestyle and the danger that these bring. Lorenzo was not what I thought. I expected him to be a thin wiry guy with a pencil thin mustache. Not a muscled tattooed strong male. He is the thinker, the solver a Puzzles and a strategist. I enjoyed getting to know him better, and watch him grow as the story rolled along. I liked Izzy (or Isabelle to Lorenzo) but she was not a fav until we got closer to the end. I felt she became not herself as she became more embroiled in the Larussio particularly Lorenzo’s life. Near the end she really showed her true self which was nice to see.

Consigliere’s Revenge Is an exceptional addition to the series. I swear every book is better than the one before it. This book is full of suspense, heat and action. Izzy is a reporter and one night she’s at the casino when Lorenzo spots her. He knows exactly who she is. She may be there trying to get information for her next story but, Lorenzo knows what needs to be done and decides to show up at her house and have her write stories he approves. He keeps her on a short leash to Keep her safe but, everything doesn’t go as planned. This was a great book with great characters. Many of which were in previous books and I’m sure will be mentioned in more books. 5 suspenseful stars!
