My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Seductive Prey is book one in the Relentless Trilogy by Vivian Fiano. My first time sampling this author’s and I was stunned by the quality of the story and mesmerised by the characters. Complex, compassionate and entertaining, Seductive Prey was suspenseful and spellbinding. It was hard to put down and left me breathless throughout many moments with the cast of this charismatic and mysterious tale. The story was easy to get sucked into and there were many oh my goodness moments. This story is not for young readers and should be enjoyed by an adult audience.

Grant and Jordan’s attraction was raging hot and their chemistry was explosive. The danger was ever present and they always had to be on guard and alert to their surroundings. Jordan was being stalked and Grant took on the role of protector while pursuing their attraction with tenacious ferocity. It was constantly thrilling and that edgy danger was insanely compelling. A brilliant beginning to a sensual and dramatic trilogy. 5 stars.

When you are in the National Guard and a new recruit shows up and you have an attraction to each other but when something happens within their civilian life things get serious.

Officer Summers is a Boston cop but he is also a Sergeant in the National Guard from his background he needed something to ground him so law enforcement was the most logical answer.

Jordan needs money to invest within her dance business so the best answer was to join the National Guard. While working she runs into the sexy sergeant and feels the instant chemistry they have between them.

When something happens within her civilian life and in walks Officer Summers to investigate can Jordan keep her feels under wraps for the her sanity or will the hunky officer breaks into her heart.

This is the first story I have read by this author and oh my what a story this is, the well written story draws you into this brilliant suspense and a health dose of sexual tension. The story twists through and keeps you on your toes with each page read.

The chemistry between the two main characters is electric and jumps off the page with the electrical charge running through and to top it off you have a great cliff hanger at the end. I can’t wait for the next instalment in this series.

Wow! I was seriously impressed! Seductive Prey is the first book in The Relentless Trilogy by Vivian Fiano. In this book we meet Jordan Smith. All she wants to do is be able to teach dance and own her own dance studio. So what does she do? She joins the Army National Guard. There she meets Sergeant Grant Summers who will later become Officer Summers. Fast forwarding, when back in Boston after her time is up, Jordan has a break in at her studio and low and behold…Officer Summers is on the scene to investigate. These two reunite and really hit it off. Then Jordan realizes that she has someone who is stalking her due to many “incidents.” Of course, Grant is there to help find her stalker and to help keep her safe. These two have a boat load of chemistry and balance each other out really well. There is a ton of twists and turns that keep you fully engaged the whole book. I haven’t read this author before and I am truly excited for the next book in the series. I can’t wait to see what this author has in store for us next!

Seductive Prey is the first book in the Relentless Series by Vivian Fiano. Jordan and Grant are such great characters because they are real. We have all met people like them that you just can’t help but love and root for them. She is strong and independent. He is brave and protective. The chemistry with these two might just catch the pages on fire. I got lost in the suspense of the story. This was my first book by Vivian Fiano but I promise it will not be my last!

Seductive Prey (Relentless #1)Seductive Prey by Vivian Fiano

A great read. Grant and Jordan’s story is one of love at first sight. Grant is a Boston police officer and a Staff Sargent in the Army Reserve. Jordan is a dance teacher who joins the Reserve to serve her country and to get money for college. They meet during her first time at a Reserve Recruitment Sustainment Program, before she heads off to Basic training. When she returns from Basic training she goes back to teaching dance. All is good until she and a co-worker walk in on a burglar in the dance studio and this sets off a scary chain of events for Jordan. Grant happens to be the officer who shows up to assist Jordan and her co-worker at the dance studio after the burglary. The events that follow are just mind blowing. Grant is protective of Jordan. Jordan is a strong independent woman. They have their differences about what’s going on and to handle them, but in the end come to an understanding. Warning!! The book ends in a cliffhanger!! I’ll be anxiously awaiting the next book in the series.

Seductive Prey: The Relentless Trilogy by Vivian Fiano has suspense and romance. It has everything you can ask for.

Officer Grant Summers, a Boston policeman, grew up as the child of a heroin addict mother and has vowed to pay it forward. Jordan Smith joins the Army National Guard to help pay tuition, with the aim of one day opening her own dance school. When a crime is committed at her place of business, Grant Officer Summers leaps at the opportunity to pursue Jordan and start a relationship. Their chemistry is undeniable, but as their relationship develops, they become aware that they are both being watched. As Grant races to save Jordan from the man who has made her his seductive prey, the threats are piling up and the clock is ticking.

I loved every page of it. The fact that it ended on a cliffhanger can’t wait to read the second book. I absolutely loved the characters and the story.

SO, you’ve read the blurb and you know that this is the first book in a trilogy and it leaves you with a cliffhanger, so why are you so stupid as to wonder what the hell happened at the end of the book when you didn’t get a nice lovely happily ever after? Yeah, that silly sod was me reading Seductive Prey by Vivian Fiano. Arghhhhh I want book 2 now!
I absolutely loved Seductive Prey. It had me totally hooked on the story from the very beginning and had still got me firmly in it’s grip and I want to know what’s happening next with Grant Summers and Jordan Smith.
Jordan and Grant are both amazing characters and I really can’t wait to learn more about them. I completely fell in love with both characters during this book.
This book has got a bit of everything that I love in a book. You’ve got some hot sizzling romance, added with danger, intrigue and mystery that keeps you turning page after page after page.
I think I’ve changed my mind about 4 times as to who Jordan’s stalker is and knowing my awful powers of working out where an author is taking a story it’s likely to be none of them.
Definitely worth the 5 stars I’ve given it!

Jordan Smith joined the Army Reserves to be able to afford college. On her first day, she meets Staff Sergeant Grant Summers. He tries to come to her aid when some other Reserves talk trash to her, but Jordan handles it well and Summers is surprised that is he attracted to her strength and spunk.

Jordan finishes boot camp and returns home to Boston where her father is the chief of District 5, and she is a dance teacher. Summers also returns to Boston where he is a police officer. The studio where Jordan works is broken into, she fights the attacker, but he gets away. The officer responding to the scene is Officer Summers. The two are delighted to see one another again, and Officer Summers eventually takes Jordan on a date. Soon after the break-in, Jordan discovers she is being stalked by someone. Is her stalker the guy from the break-in or is it someone closer to her?

As a lover of thrillers and romance novels, I have to say this book is top-notch in both categories. It’s an easy read, and Vivian Fiano keeps you guessing. A wonderful job on a book well-written.

Vivian’s writing transports you into the story and the journey of the characters. But it is not all sunshine and roses she certainly puts the characters through many twists and turns and has you on the edge of your seat.

I enjoyed this suspense-romance story. This is a well written story about off the charts chemistry and a killer who is watching those on who are after them. This is a well written story that has characters that bring the story to life. They are relatable and I enjoyed watching the growth between Officer Summers and Jordan. They are great together as they try to find a killer but yet may find themselves prey. The twists and turns left me turning pages fast and had me sitting on the edge of my seat just waiting to see what would happen next. I am glad I picked up this book and I think so will you. 4 ½ Stars

Seductive Prey is the first book in The Relentless Trilogy by Vivian Fiano. This isn’t my first book that I have read by Ms. Fiano, but it is definitely my favourite (so far). I can’t resist a good romantic suspense- so I happily snapped up a copy and devoured it in a matter of hours.
The story is well written, and the suspenseful aspect of the story is cleverly woven- making for a gripping, action-packed ride. I thought that Ms. Fiano did a fantastic job with her character development- crafting fully realised individuals with their own personalities, quirks, and flaws. Jordan and Grant, in particular, were so easy to like- and before I even realised, I had invested in them and the outcome of their story. I will have to wait to find out how everything plays out, as this story ends on a cliffhanger that has me anxious to get my hands on Book #2- “Graceful Abduction”.
This is romantic suspense done well- with plenty of action-packed danger; and with time slipping away, and a creepy stalker vibe happening- I was on the edge of my seat. The chemistry between our two MC’s is palpable and sizzles off the pages.
I really can’t wait to get my hands on the next book- it really can’t come soon enough!

Thank you, Vivian Fiano.

All I Want for Christmas: Military Romance Short Story by Vivian Fiano

What a sweet story.  You could feel and sadness from both Kinsley and Bryson.  Kinsley is crushed by the call she gets as she should be, but I could understand why she was feeling some guilt too after they hung up.

I really admire our military service men and women who have to spend long periods of time away from the family, but the spouses, significant others, parents,  kids, etc. are just amazing and I have no clue how they get through all that time apart.

If you find yourself with about an hour with nothing to do, try this sweet story.

Kinsley is excited and planning for when Brysen comes home on leave for the holidays. She hasn’t seen him in months. But she ends up getting a call that ends up ruining her plans and breaking her heart. Brysen feels terrible for having to break his girls heart but he has a mission to complete. Will he be able to make it up to Kinsley?

Overall I really enjoyed this short read, there is an unexpected twist that makes your heart melt. My heart went out to Kinsley coming from a military family myself it does get difficult not having family home for the holidays. All of the secondary characters added a great element to the story. We also get a glimpse into another read following the ending of this one. I look forward to reading more from this author. 1-click and get started today on this holiday romance.

I absolutely loved this Christmas short story. I literally finished in one afternoon. My emotions were all over the place, I was almost in tears and I felt heartache in one part but felt happy pretty much the rest of the way. This is my first read by this author but definitely not my last. I definitely plan on checking out more. Kinsley and Brysen’s short story. She’s been waiting on Brysen to get home from his deployment but one phone call may change that. Brysen is a pilot and has found himself in some seriously dangerous situations but this one may be the most dangerous one of all . Find out what happens next in this must read. I’ve always enjoyed a good military romance and I am a sucker for anything Christmas so this story was an immediate interest. I love that All I Want For Christmas by Vivian Fiano was a short story that I could enjoy it all at once! Lucky for me it had been snowing the weekend I chose to enjoy it, great for setting the tone.
This was the first I have read by Vivian Fiano and I would definitely be interested in reading more by this author. While I liked the plot and the story overall, I was not a huge fan of Kinsley. I am curious if the story had been longer, if she would become a character I would grow to love. All I Want for Christmas really did deliver overall, a short but sweet holiday romance. I would give it 4 stars and most definitely recommend.

All I Want for Christmas: Military Romance Short Story by Vivian Fiano

My first read by Fiano and I can say it won’t be my last. This short story had me all in my feelings. It’s short, sweet, and romantic. What more could you ask for in a book?

Kinsley is an Army girlfriend and is worried about her Man overseas. Christmas is around the corner and she just got the news that he’s not coming home. Devastated by the events her friend cheers her up. A Christmas party with the Army Wives changes her mood quickly. The quote I chose for Kinsley is: “How did you manage to make it home?”

Brysen is an Army pilot and broke his girlfriend’s heart and now he feels bad. When he makes it back to base he thinks of a way to make it up to her. The quote I chose for Brysen is: “It took a lot of help. I went to my commander and explained that I wanted to do something fun and different when I proposed to you. Together my crew came up with this idea, and they all agreed to make sure their significant others were in on it so no one would ruin the surprise.”

Highly recommended for Military Romance lovers.

I love a holiday themed read. This short story is worth the read, it is sweet, heartbreaking and will get you right into the Christmas spirit. It was heartbreaking to see the emotions Kinsley was going through knowing Brysen would not be back for Christmas. I really enjoyed how Brysen’s best friend and Kinsley’s friend Dina are also in a relationship and form this little quad of friends. It is nice that Kinsley had Dina, someone who can relate to what she is going through to help her through it all. I love that this book gives a glimpse of what anyone in a military relationship could go through, even though this probably only touches the surface of what they would endure being apart. I highly recommend this sweet book!

This was a really sweet and short read. I really liked the story; the characters were nice and relatable. I actually thought I had predicted what was going to happen in the story so I was pleasantly surprised when I was proved wrong. I think because the story was so short I didn’t really connect with the characters like I would in a longer story but that didn’t make me enjoy the story any less.
