Book 3 of the series and I think it was my favorite. Brandon and Macy had a history and to see them meet up again and deal with that history and the challenges it brought (including a mighty active one), gave hope that everything could work out. I really enjoy the author’s writing as you feel like these are your neighbors. They are well-developed and the story is well-written. They are just going through the struggles we all do (with a little inner wolf thrown in). With every story, I have been pulled in and fully engaged. You find yourself wanting to know what’s next in the story. I loved it. This was a great story to read. I recommend you check it and the other two stories out.

First we got Mason’s story. Time for Derek, his best friend. Derek grew up hearing stories of how werewolf’s would find their mate, for life. It was a once in a lifetime thing. He always wanted his parents thing. Annabelle came into his life in childhood. Her momma liked him. Her daddy hated him from the get-go. Annabelle knew what he was and loved him anyway. Derek was heartbroken when Amos told her she had moved on. Fast Forward ten years later, she comes back for her daddy’s death, can they pick up where they left off? There is a lot of history to deal with? This is an excellent book. The story plays out terrific. It goes along so smooth. There is no choppiness. The characters feel just like a small town. Derek is relatable with his frustration over his feelings. Annabelle is just totally relatable for being in a relationship and trying to deal with daddy issues. They go through some heavy stuff, and with him being a werewolf on top? Boom, issues for sure. I loved this book too. Totally engaged me. On to book 3. I highly recommend you read this one too.

Mason is a single father just running his ranch and bar while waiting for his mate to come. His wolf is making him crazy wanting to find her. Rylie enters their life when she comes to town to work as a wildlife biologist studying wolves. The embers start to burn. Mason’s wolf knows she the one. Now, will Mason and Rylie accept it? They endure the adventures life throws in their way. This is such a good book. I was sucked in at the beginning by the tale of how Mason became of a father and I just couldn’t leave. I had to stay because I wanted to know what happened next. The story engages you. Well-written and well-developed characters make for a story that will keep you right there and devouring it. I can’t wait to read more. Here I come book 2. I highly recommend you push the button and buy this one.

This book was GREAT! I love a good paranormal shifter romance, and this book did not disappoint. It is book 3 in The Powder River Series. Brandon and Macy’s story. The characters are great and well written and easy to get into. A good story of Shifters with lots of twists, surprises, drama and love. What more could you ask for?

This is the third book in the Powder River Pack series though this is the first one I have picked up. It can be read as a stand alone book. I didn’t feel lost, but definitely want to go back and read the other two to build on the pack I am beginning to know. We meet Brandon and Macy in this story. Brandon is out celebrating his last night before heading off into the military. Macy’s taken out of the state for a night of kicking up her heels and letting loose. What can it hurt? Brandon and Macy feel a pull towards each other and have an incredible night together. Was that all it was? When Brandon comes back, can he find Macy? I was engaged in this story from the beginning and am glad I picked up this author.

Aa the third book in this series I would suggest starting with book 1, so you can get a feel for this pack, the characters and overall feel for the series. I love this series so much! And I feel I have waited ages for this one and I was not disappointed at all! These two were great to read about and I just felt so drawn to the both of them. Has some surprises on your journey through this read and I cannot recommend this author enough!

I really enjoy this authors books. I love the paranormal romance and how the story evolves. This the 3rd book in the Powder River series. Even though reading from.the beginning will enhance the story its not essential as this book can be read as a standalone. The author does an amazing job of making the paranormal feel normal and the growth of the characters through the books keeps the reader hooked. In this book we follow the story of Brandon and Macy.
Brandon is part of the Powder River werewolf pack. He has his life mapped out and is happy with his choice to join the military. That is until the night before he is due to leave when he bumps into a woman who is his fated mate. Now torn between doing what he was going to do and being with this woman he just met he decides to leave but can never forget her. After he returns he decides it’s time to finally find and be with his fated mate.
Macy has a lot of expectations placed on her. She struggles to constantly be a good daughter and do the right thing. So when her friend drags her away for one night of madness she gives in and goes wild. This one moment of madness ends up with her losing everything. However Macy is a strong determined woman and through all the ups and downs she gets through it all but she feels like something is missing. Could it be something to do with Brandon? Is she feeling the pull towards him as he is to her?
This story is definately a rollercoast of a ride that keeps the reader gripped. This book is full of drama, love both lost and found and shifters falling in love. What more could you want for a fantastic romance with surprises along the way.

Brandon and Macy’s story comes third in the series Powder River Pack. I felt a rollercoaster of emotions while reading this book and honestly didn’t want it to end! Brooke May did a spectacular job making this paranormal book and series so tasteful and throwing in real world problems! I couldn’t recommend enough!

The chemistry that book two from the Powder River Pack series gave was phenomenal! Brooke May came in with a bang up second book! I thought the first one was good but this one was unreal! Brooke May is quickly becoming a favourite author of mine and I can’t wait to see what book 3 brings because this was pretty much the perfect paranormal book for me! The dynamic of the characters was something I found myself craving the more I got in the book! I couldn’t wait to see how the ending would turn out! Definitely think you could read as a standalone but hey, may as well not miss out on the other great books right?!

Wow the author has done it again! This is an amazing story that revolves around Brandon and Macy. They meet one night at a bar and part their seperate ways and are apart for a good while. Brandon was whisked off for active duty and Macy is left to raise his daughter without his knowledge. When they randomly reconnect when he comes back from active-duty sparks fly and everyone is happier. They have lots of things that they need to work out and determine if they can resume where they left off or stay apart. It is an amazing book with lots of twists and turns and cannot wait to read more books by this author!

Lily has spent the last year as a captive of the Huntington’s, the Wolf Hollow royals. They’ve been away touring their other pack lands, but they’re back now…and have turned her new life upside down.
Jason is the future Alpha and King of Wolf Hollow. He’s just biding his time until he can do whatever he wants without the threat of his father hanging over him – at least, he was until he met his mate.
With every aspect of their lives attempting to keep them apart, can Lily and Jason get a happily ever after?
This is an author that I never hesitate to pick up. I have enjoyed this author’s books from the first one I picked up from her. This is the third book in this series which I highly suggest reading the previous two books to help your enjoyment of this series. This is a well written story that pulled me in from the beginning. This author did a great job of details to make the story realistic. This is a paranormal story about Brandon and Macy. Brandon finding a life mate the night before he is shipped out wasn’t part of his plan. Now he is faced with finding Macy and making her his life mate. Macy does her best to be a good person. She has one passionate night with a stranger but the problem is she cant forget him and that changes things for her. Now she feels something is missing and she is about to find out what. I enjoyed their chemistry and growth throughout the story. They are strong, creative, connectable characters that truly made the story for me. I found this story to be fast paced and engaging. This is a hard to put down story that I highly recommend.

I hadn’t read anything by this author until I picked this up, and I’m glad that I did. It was what one would want from a paranormal romance novel. It had a little bit of the werewolf aspect right from the get-go, letting us into the world that Macy has grown up in, and feeling for our female lead right from the first page. The internal struggle of wanting to do what’s right for the family, but wanting to do what’s right by her, she is lead out of the state by her best friend for a wild night. You know you’re in for a treat when you meet Brandon, the masculine hero of our love story, that has his own inner turmoil, he’s a lean, mean, werewolf machine that I would just love to get my hands on, lucky Macy!
As this is the third installment in the Powder River Pack series, I have yet to really get to know the others in their pack, but the author does a great job at giving you a little insight into everyone that you need to know as the story goes on, which is really nice! The world building continues, I imagine, from the previous installments, which let me really get into the story. Not only that, but there are peaks and valleys that kept me interested throughout the novel. Overall, I loved the way that this author brought Macy and Brandon’s love story together, their struggles individually and as a family, and reiterating the fact that having a strong support system can make all the difference in the world, no matter what you’re going through. Excuse me, while I go read the first two, this author clearly knows what she’s doing!

A great romance with a paranormal story twist. In fact, the author wrote this story like being paranormal was normal. I loved the romance between Macy and Brandon. This was my first book in the series, but I want to go read the others now. I loved the secondary characters and want to know more about them. Overall a great heartwarming romance.

As this is the third book in this series, I suggest reading the other two first, so you get to know the Pack and their world and the wonderful characters you will grow to love. I think this maybe my favourite book by Brooke to date. I love paranormal stories and Brooke does paranormal so well. This book had everything with shifters, action, and drama, lust, and love and so much more. Brandon was saying goodbye to the only life he had known and was happy with his decision. That is until fate stepped in and gave him the one thing he could not keep. Now he is done waiting and wants what is his. Macy gave in and had one explosive night to remember only to lose it all. She has forged ahead and created a good life only to find the past catching up to her.

A life of smiles and ease is all Powder River Pack werewolf, Brandon Quarters had in his life. The jokester of the pack, Brandon stepped up and joined the military.
A single night out before deployment sets the course of change in his life. Finding his mate in a bar wasn’t part of the plan. Her running and him forced to leave early wasn’t either.
He’s back in his hometown now, ready to find the woman who got away and determined to make her his for good.
Little does he know there’s a surprise waiting at the pack bar.
Macy Cutler has lived a life full of expectations. Doing her best to be a good daughter and not follow in her sister’s reckless footsteps, Macy has given herself over to the fate set for her. It all changes in a single night.
Giving over to a passion her fogged brain can’t comprehend, her path changes. Macy is forced to find the courage she’s lacked most of her life only to be left on her own.
It’s been years since a passionate night with a man she can’t forget. Macy has overcome the odds stacked against her and made a life of her own.
There’s a piece missing though, but it won’t be gone for much longer.
Born and raised in Northern Wyoming. Brooke spent a great deal of her childhood and even well into her adulthood in her imagination and creating different stories. With an overactive imagination life has been truly entertaining.
A mother of two wild and reckless boys and a wife; Brooke keeps busy year-round doing things with her pups and family. When she isn’t writing, can usually be spotted walking somewhere in town, at the library with her youngest, or up in the mountains four-wheeling, hiking, fishing, and some hunting. A notebook and camera are never far from her side when she is out on her adventures with her family.
She loves hearing from readers and anyone who feels like talking. Feel free to pay her a visit whenever.

Oh snap! First things first. That cliffhanger spartan kicked me off the edge leaving me with nothing to grasp. It was baffling and had me feeling all sorts of feelings. I didn’t know a steamy scene could do that to me but WOW!!!
The tension between vampires and lycan are no different in this series. But it has a unique enemy that you don’t see coming until it drives into you like a Mac truck. It has its own subspecies and different forms of it.
Levi and Tasha in this series are a force to be reckoned with. Each can hold their own independently, but when they are together it’s a whole other ball game. Both have pasts that they aren’t proud of but they overcome it together. CR did a wonderful job writing this first book. It drew me in from the first word. I saw the book playing out in my mind like a movie. That doesn’t happen a lot for me, but this book definitely did it. I will be 100% recommending this book to my friends that love erotica with a good story.

This was an interesting shifter/human romance and the first book from TK Lawyer I have read.
The good: I absolutely love how flawed her characters are. They get mad, jealous, and have insecurities that don’t just magically disappear once they say “I love you”. They have trauma and fears that hold them back and provide obstacles they struggle to overcome. Her descriptions are realistic and her spicy scenes are classy and hot.
The different: (slight spoiler alert) The first half of the book was mildly uncomfortable to me as the main character was bonding a bit too closely with the dog/wolf for my personal tastes. She acknowledged it was wrong but it still made me feel awkward reading her reactions to the dog/wolf showing affection. I’m aware it’s a mate bond, but human to animal physical connections don’t do it for me. Once he revealed his true self the book really took off and was great.
Overall it was a good read as Lawyer has a great imagination and a wonderful way with words.
A different take on the werewolf mythos and mating. Normally you read about an Alpha wolf simply walking into his mates life and taking over, but this is a tale of partnership, exploration and love. There is a fine line between smutty and teasing and this book rides that line perfectly! Nightfall is probably one of the first books I’ve read in a long time that shows that not all romance novels have to be having one person be strong in a relationship. I was immediately taken with the fact that instead of a lot of angst and issues, Tamara and Josh work through their issues and become a better couple because of it. I love finding something like this on my shelves and I’m really happy that I was able to read this, no, DEVOUR it! I’m so looking forward to future novels by T.K.!
This more modern take on a wolf-meets-mate story is really quite entertaining. Tamara finds a “stray dog” and decides to keep him. Vets visits, dog food, collars and sleeping arrangements. These are just the “pet” hurdles they come across. How does a Wolf move from the”pet-zone” into mate territory? Josh has his work cut out for him. Tamara has been hurt before and doesn’t believe in forever. I do love that the story is realistic enough to deal with the possibility of rejection. A hot Wolf shifter, a beautiful mate, and the “stray” that brings them together. A great read!

Nightfall by TK Lawyer was a decent read. I’m not sure if I just wasn’t in the right mood today or what, but this book just didn’t hit me right like I wanted it to. After reading the synopsis I was very interested, and I thought this would be a very interesting and good read. While it was well written and had me captivated throughout, I thought it was very strange. It seemed almost like a beastiality thing at the beginning? I knew it wasn’t, but I couldn’t help thinking that almost the entire time. That put me off big time with this novel. Other than that, this novel was well written and I enjoy the storyline once I got past that bit. It was probably just an off reading day for me and hopefully I’ll enjoy the next novel by Lawyer better!
After deciding to keep the stray dog that visits her home nightly, Tamara begins to discover that Nightfall is not all he seems. For starters, he can speak to her telepathically, and is inordinately concerned with her safety, protecting her from all threats, real and imagined. As time goes on, she starts to feel that he has more than platonic love in mind. While she reels from this new development, she slowly becomes aware that he is not any ordinary dog/wolf… he is a shapeshifter whose male form is quite delectable. Can she overcome her fear of getting hurt for the reward of a powerful mate?
I liked that this book was easy to read and get invested in. Tamara and Josh are interesting well-rounded characters, and the book has some very steamy overtures. I found the emotional drama to be a bit melodramatic for my tastes, but the plot was well done and likely very accessible for romance readers. All in all, a nice escape for an otherwise routine weekday night.
Tamara has had her heart broken by men. When she vows to not love again, fate decides to intervene. When Tamara finds a dog on her step, she starts to think about relationships again. Josh has fallen in love with Tamara but she has sworn off men forever. When he decides to start sending her gifts, things change a little. Would Tamara accept Josh for who he is or will fate play apart in this as well? TK Lawyer is a talented author. The ability to follow along with an imaginative novel is truly amazing. Lawyer weaves paranormal and romance together like they have always belonged together.

Nightfall is the first book that I have read by T.K. Lawyer and I must say it was very enjoyable. I was so lost in the story that time just flew by and I was done with it before I realized I had read it all in one sitting. One thing that I really loved about Nightfall is that the leading lady is plus size but still lands the sexy hunk of a male lead. T.K. Lawyer choosing a plus size leading lady shows us plus size girls that romance is put there for us too. Her character descriptions are detailed and realistic making her readers feel like they are real people and not just characters on a page. I loved this book and Ms. Lawyer’s characters so much that I hope she gives us a trilogy.
This story is one that I normally wouldn’t read, but it kept my attention for the most part. Tamara finds a stray dog, or what she thinks is a dog, but he’s a wolf. She names him Nightfall. Nightfall is very protective of her and eventually she is able to communicate telepathically with him. What she doesn’t know is, she has met him before when he was in human form. Their relationship grows and she finally learns the truth.
What an interesting book! Imagine you have lost your beloved dog. You’re already sad and in comes this gorgeous gray wolf. He’s beautiful. He has eyes like the night fall. He’s pretty well-behaved with a bit of an hornery phase. Yet he just keeps hanging around your porch all the time. Wouldn’t you take him in? I would. Tamara has a thing for strays so she takes in this gorgeous wolf. This wolf brings back a man from the past into Tamara’s life in ways she never dreamed of. He has a way of bring out her self-confidence and courage that have been beaten down due to crappy relationships. Josh is a shapeshifter that is trying to live his life while trying to be Tamar’s dog and show her that she’s his soul mate. He’s running ragged yet he loves her from the start and stays with her through it all. The author has done a really terrific job of blending the characters in such a way that you feel like you are watching a relationship grow that could blossom forever. She even through a few jerks in there.
I have to say this book was NOT what i expected when I first picked up the beauty to read. It was EVEN better. I’m very much familiar with shape shifter novels, werewolves, or paranormal romance.
From my experiences those type of books always have girl meets paranormal guy falls head over heels in love, in the end happy and not a lot of hardship
For Tamara and Josh not the case, When I was reading about scene where Tamara took Josh in not knowing he actually was a shapeshifter, I told myself boom their gonna be in love and be happy and some out side negativity. Often from my readings its always the girl love at first sight, but with Tamara that I dare say was a stubborn fire cracker. Nope! She was a tough built up cookie.
Instead it was Josh who fell completely head over tail for her. Literally. He was o kind and sweet and Tamara was basically against it all. I was yelling at the book at some scenes for Tamara to give Josh a chance. He was such a sweetie and only wanted to give her the world.
As further I read, I learned Tamara is a very relatable character. She had been truly hurt in her past and it was hard for her to allow herself to feel something again for someone let alone to trust and allow herself to be cared for.
Josh had chosen Tamara. But with the hurt and pain Tamara had felt in the past , Josh truly had to work thru to break those walls down to show he was the real deal. And his affections and intentions were true.
I really related to this romance and this novel. Truly did. This was my first by the amazing author and most certainly not my last, I wanted to jut keep on reading. The story was so beautifully done and Tamara and Josh’s story is truly unlike any other.
I will be recommending this novel to all my friends. Its truly a a work of art of a well captivating story that is impossible to forget.
I will start by saying this book had a unique approach to the werewolf mate relationship. When I began reading it I was excited to see how it was going to play out. While I was expecting a bit more of a focus on the paranormal side this book could have offered, it read more like a romance novel that just so happened to include a shifter as one of the main characters. I really appreciated the fact that Tamara wasn’t your typical female character. She had realistic flaws that most women could relate to! I loved how Josh’s dedication to her even when she made it hard. Tamara is an average woman with typical relatable flaws! She has a past that she can’t seem to let go of and is constantly torn between allowing herself to be loved or to push Josh away. Josh seems to deal with her issues in stride and shows that love can truly overcome any obstacle. Overall, I liked Nightfall and it was an easy read.
