My rating: 5 of 5 stars

This is another exceptional book in this series. While it handle a tough subject the author did it with grace and blended it into the story nicely. I enjoyed getting back to the Archers group and seeing how things would work out between Rayna and Thomas. They had some excitement, danger and a wonderful stranger to help them along and to re-open their hearts.

I loved getting to see how the families work together on a problem. Plus catch up with Tara and Jace. That Tara is a handful. Rayna and Thomas have a second or third chance here. Each have grown and matured but the advice of someone gives them the nudge they need

Overall this is a captivating story. I struggled to put it down and am already wondering if there will be another.

My rating: 4 of 5 stars

In Plain Sight was a suspenseful and gripping story that was hugely addictive and hard to put down. Immersing myself easily into the lives of Rayna and Thomas, I was swept away on yet another thrilling and dangerous ride. This is the third book in the Broken Bow series by Ashley A Quinn, and I really enjoy the way this author weaves intrigue and mystery into her stories, along with romance and enough sexual tension to burn the pages. Boone County was a dangerous place, and when Rayna and Thomas join forces to find the answers to the questions she has about the abused boy she found in the field, she risks her heart all over again. The dastardly secrets that shroud her town has her seeking answers and making herself a target.

In Plain Sight was an engaging and deeply riveting story that was easy to escape into. An attention grabbing mystery with heat and heart. A fantastic way to spend a rainy day. 4 stars.

Ashley A. Quinn’s In Plain Sights is the third book in The Broken Bow series and is a suspenseful contemporary second chance romance. This engaging and emotional read gives us lots of intrigue and danger, drama, and angst that you soon find yourself immersed in and page after page turning. Ashley writes strong characters, vivid and descriptive gripping, and deadly tales.

In Plain Sight is the third book in The Broken Bow series by Ashley A. Quinn. I absolutely LOVE this series- the characters, the gripping storylines, and Ms. Quinn’s superb writing skills- all have me clamouring for more.
The stories can be read as standalones, but there is a cast of recurring characters and overlapping details, so to fully appreciate the story/series, I highly recommend reading the first two books before diving into this one.
Again, as with the other two books, this is a gripping romantic suspense- with plenty of danger, drama, intrigue, angst, and emotion. But this is also a story of second chances, chemistry, connection, family, friendships, camaraderie, trust, finding where you belong, – and so much more. Weave in the shocking and heartbreaking sex trafficking/child exploitation issues, the vile monsters behind the trade, and lots of gripping twists and turns- and this story was un-put-down-able right from the get-go.
Having met Rayna and Thomas in the previous books, I couldn’t wait to get their story- and they certainly don’t disappoint. OMG- my heart broke for what Mason (and the others) had been through- I was expecting to be gripped by this story, but Ms. Quinn had my emotions simmering and then broiling within the first few chapters.
This was everything I had hoped it would be, and more. I’m excited to see what comes next. Highly recommended!
Happy Reading!

Thank you, Ashley A. Quinn!

This is the first book that I have read by this author and now she has a new fan. I love a good cowboy romance but this author exceeded all my expectations. These characters hooked me into their story right from the beginning. I could not put this book down until the end. It only took me a few hours to devour this amazing story. I can’t wait to see what this author will write next.

Stone Dempsey is your typical cowboy that can have any girl he wants. He loves training horses. Stone meets the beautiful Emmy Cole. She is not like all the other ladies at all. Emmy is a pediatrician and she loves her job and she knows a playboy when she sees one. When Stone’s sister drops off a sick baby he has to learn how to be an adult really fast. He also can’t get the beautiful doctor out of his mind but is there something more? Will Stone be able to get the girl and be a good parent to his niece or will it be all too much for this cowboy?

In Plain Sight by Ashley A. Quinn is the third book in the Broken Bow series. This is a well written book about two people who are given a second chance in an unexpected way. I thought the book was full of suspense and the whole storyline was well thought out.
I really enjoyed reading about the characters. They had a strong connection right from the start and I enjoyed every interaction between them. You don’t have to read these books in order but I think it is definitely worth doing as they are all so good. This is a fantastic series and I think this has to be my favourite book so far.

Two Hearts, One Stone (Boots and Babies) by Leslie Scott is a romance story. This story takes a known player making him into a fantastic father figure and giving the most important responsibility a baby. What woman can deny helping a baby and getting to know the man taking that responsibility?

Stone Dempsey, a horse trainer, lives for the thrill of the ride—with both horses and women. He uses his equestrian skills to impress the country club set while raising funds for Smoky Mountain Reining Horses. He’s unexpectedly saddled with real responsibility when his drug-addicted sister leaves her sick baby on his doorstep. Dr. Emmersyn Cole’s dream of opening a practice in her favorite spot on the planet is coming true, and she isn’t going to let anything get in the way. She’s adamant about keeping her distance. Until he runs into her grandfather’s house, frightened and helpless, holding a feverish infant, and her heart’s hard shell starts to crack.

I loved every page of it. The love story was unique and drove me to finish the story as quickly as possible. It was like this book devoured me.

I really really enjoyed this little story! It has all the feel good moments that make me smile while reading. I couldn’t stop laughing at Tara and Naomi! Those two cracked me up. While I liked Emmersyn(great name Btw) I really loved watching Stone evolve. We see him at his worst and frazzled and then he moves on to his best. I love love love that Stone knew and admitted what he wanted from Emmy. Nothing is sexier than a man who knows what he wants and goes after it. Relationship aside he really became a stand-up guy and I loved all his little ah-ha moments.

Overall this is a story to be enjoyed over and over. It’s a quick read for those times when I just want a little something but fulfilling in all the right places. I highly recommend this!

In Two Hearts, One Stone we meet Stone Dempsey, a playboy horse trainer and also Emmy Cole, a pediatrician who recently moved back to town to start her own practice.
Emmy is off limits as she is the ranch owners granddaughter and well, thats just not done. But when Stones sister drops in for a quick visit and leaves her infant daughter when Stone isn’t paying attention, Stone runs to Emmy for help with the sick child.
This is a real quick, engaging read and it will keep you wanting more.

Two Hearts One Stone by Leslie Scott is book one of the Boots and Babies series.

Stone and Emmersyn don’t exactly get off on the best foot. Stone doesn’t really do commitment which Emmersyn finds out right from the get go. Emmersyn has one goal and she won’t be sidetracked even for Stone that is until he needs her help and she sees a different side to him. Will Emmersyn be able to look passed Stone’s past with woman or will she constantly wait for the other shoe to drop? Will Stone be able to convince her to take a chance?

I really enjoyed this book. I devoured it! Stone is more than meets the eye. Emmersyn is cautious but she’s sassy which made reading fun! I highly recommend!

By the last page I was reading through tears. What a book! I love a second chance romance, and Thomas and Raynas story was so sweet but full of challenges. When Rayna finds Mason and calls Thomas for help I just knew it was going to be a wild ride. My heart hurt for poor Mason and everything he went through, but I loved every minute of reading about the three of them coming together to fight for him.

I loved it. I loved Tara, I loved Jace, I loved the mystery. Ashley A Quinn really knows how to pack a lot in one novel, in the best way! I was thoroughly invested from the beginning. The tragedy they each dealt with, the healing and learning to take that leap to love again. It was bittersweet but also so heartwarming. Then trying to piece together who was after Tara and why kept me flipping pages. Can’t wait to open the next in the series!

I thoroughly enjoyed this heartwarming romance and although it is a fairly quick read the storyline was packed full of drama and romance. Horse trainer Stone Dempsey has a reputation as being a ladies man and his equine talents both help him impress the people at the country club and help him earn money for ‘Smoky Mountain Reining Horses’. Stone’s life becomes complicated when his drug addict sister leaves her sick baby daughter on his doorstep. Meanwhile Paediatrician Dr. Emmersyn Cole has moved in with her grandfather and has started her own practice. She is well aware of Stone’s reputation and although she was instantly attracted to him when they met she is determined to not get involved. However, when he rushes into her grandfather’s home with his sick baby niece Emmy can’t help but feel for him. The more time the couple spend together the more Stone realises that Emmy is the woman for him and Emmy starts to see a different side to Stone, one that she likes. I loved the two main characters as both Stone and Emmersyn were likeable and relatable people and the chemistry between them really came across in the narrative. I liked how their relationship developed despite the numerous misunderstandings, complications and drama that occurred in the story. I was hooked from start to finish and was cheering Stone and Emmy on hoping they would get their happy ever after. An enjoyable and engaging short read.

Two Hearts, One Stone is part of the Boots and Babies series by Leslie Scott.

Stone Dempsey has a bit of a reputation as a ladies man. He works hard as a horse trainer and likes to play hard too. That all has to change when his niece is left on his doorstep and he is suddenly left holding the baby.
Emmy has her doubts when she hears about Stone’s predicament. She knows his reputation and doesn’t know if he’s up for this commitment.

I really enjoyed this book. It was a quick read but managed to pack a whole lot of action in. The chemistry between Stone and Emmy is there by the bucketload, and I loved that both of the main characters were strong, feisty, and full of passion. This story moves at a quick pace, and it’s a very easy read. This is my first book by this author, but I will definitely look out for more in the future.

This book was a quick read…but it was a good story.
Stone is a horse trainer with a bit of womanizing past. But his world is turned upside down by his sister and now he will have to figure out what is really important in his life.
Emmy has recently moved back to her hometown to open up her own practice. She has seen Stone (and likes what she sees), but she is focused on her business. When she finds Stone’s at her grandfather’s, she may have a change one her outlook as to what is important in life.
This fast read packs quite a story. I loved both of the characters. There was enough depth to keep me engaged…and enough drama to keep me turning the pages. There are ups and downs…but the story is quite good. I don’t want to give anything away…so go read it!

Wow! Loved this book, the story was short and sweet. I wish I could see more of this couple, and what the future held for them, but by the ending I’m thinking it would be nothing but love and beauty. I was really hurting with Emmy when there were a couple of misunderstandings with Stone and other ladies, and he gets upset by them but I understand her, he is a man whore and she is reluctant to trust him to be with one woman. It is so sweet to see him do a complete turn around when faced with raising a baby, it melted my heart and made me happy to see him want a forever kind of love finally after al the years of playing around. Even though the story was short, all of the info that needed to be there was there and I enjoyed meeting all the characters. I look forward to what is next from this author.

When your instantly having to look after your baby niece, will Stone’s life slow down or will he find the woman to save him.

Stone is a Horse trainer and manwhore and is not a shamed of the reputation but when he is thrown into having to look after his sisters baby girl everything changes with his world.

Emmy has returned home to her grandfather’s ranch and has a mega crush on him as soon as she steps on the ranch. After a brief one night stand with Stone there relationship takes a turn as she is his sole help with looking after his sick niece.

This is the first story I have read by this author and I loved the flow of the story and the characters interactions, the only thing I would say is that the story was not long enough to get the full aspects of the chemistry between these two characters. I thought that the Emmy’s character was a brilliant female character with her smart and intelligent personal traits, although I did not have a real connection with Stone’s character I have read a lot of man whore romance books but I could not really get into him until you see the softer side to him and then as I said there was not enough story to redeem himself in the long run.

I would definitely read more books by this author as I enjoyed the flow of the story and can’t wait to read more.

I enjoyed this second chance romance-suspense story. This is the third book in this series which is just as good as the previous book. This is a well developed story about two people whose lives have taken them in different directions until years later when one needs help from the other. This is Thomas and Rayna’s story. I enjoyed how they brought the story to life. I also enjoyed their chemistry and watching their growth throughout the story was great. This story also has a suspenseful side to it. When Thomas agrees to help Rayna things turn to life and death as they uncover a dark secret. What happens next I highly recommend reading this book to find out. What will fate have in store for them?

Two Hearts, One Stone by Leslie Scott. I loved this book. Its the story of Stoney Dempsey a hot horse trainer who is known for his love em and leave em ways. He owns Smokey Mountain Reining Horses. One day his sister who is messed up on drugs leaves her baby on his doorstep he is lost and his life is turned upside down. Emmersyn Cole is a Doctor who has always wanted to start a practice in her hometown so when she gets the opportunity she jumps on it. Whenever Stoney’s niece gets sick he runs to Emmy for help and falls in love instantly or at least lust. Emmy is not in the least bit interested in Stoney because of his man whore ways but she will help his niece. The fact that Stoney works for Emmy’s grandfather is a problem because if he hurts Emmy he could lose his job but he has feelings for her he’s never had before. Two Hearts, One Stone (Boots and Babies) by Leslie Scott

This is the first book I’ve read by Scott, but if she writes like this for all her books then it won’t be my last. Two Hearts, One Stone is a fantastic read. I hope there is more to Stone and Emmy.

Stone Dempsey is the best horse trainer in town. He originally came to town to take care of his sister, but she left him there. She shows up a year later with a sick baby. He rushes to his boss’s house for the Doctor. The quote I chose for Stone is: “There hasn’t been a woman in my bed since the day I met you Emmersyn Cole, and that ain’t because of Maddie. You got under my skin like an itch I can’t scratch. I don’t know how, but I’m going to prove it to you.”

Emmersyn aka Emmy is back in town opening a pediatric clinic. She didn’t think she would find herself falling for the trainer that gets into everyone’s pants. When she sees Stone taking care of his niece she finds herself falling hard. The quote I chose for Emmy is: “No. I’m not. I just don’t want Pop getting his hopes up.”

Highly recommended for Western Romance lovers.

I really enjoyed this cowboy romance. It has all the elements of a good romance, the womanizer  cowboy and the smart woman trying to resist his charms.
The characters are really well written that you can’t help feel invested in their story. Even though the book is a short read it contains a full story which is nice as some short reads feel like they are missing parts.

Stone is a horse trainer. He’s the best in the business at what he does and he has a reputation as a ladies man. However all that changes when 2 woman walk into his life and blow it apart.

The first is his baby niece. When she is left by her mother Stone has to change his ways from the playboy cowboy to become the little girls father. Stone has no idea what to do so he goes to the only person he can think of Emmy.

Emmy had moved to live with her Pop and open up her pediatric clinic. The last thing she wants is to get involved with the cowboy. However when Stone turns up on her door step with a sick child she finds herself drawn to him.

Can you really fight what’s meant to be? Will Stone go back to his old ways and hurt Emmy? Will they work as a ready made family?

Two Hearts, One Stone (Boots and Babies) by Leslie Scott is a sweet and sexy western romance that has all the ingredients to make it an engrossing read.
What happens when a hunky cowboy with a playboy reputation gets his baby niece dropped off on his front doorstep. All of a sudden responsibility is thrust on his shoulders and his life is upended by the unexpected little bundle of joy. Add to the mix the sexy doctor who also happens to be the beloved granddaughter of his boss. You guessed it- things are about to get interesting.
I really enjoyed this easy read. It was fun and sexy, with just enough drama to keep things interesting.
Looking forward to more from Ms. Scott.
