The Vassal of Magic is the third book in this very exciting series. Yet again, Wilf does not disappoint with his adventures. I have thoroughly enjoyed this series and intend to read everything this author has to offer.

This is an author that I have enjoyed reading from the first book I picked up by her. I enjoy her writing skills and her ability to pull me into her stories with ease. This book is no different. This is a young adult story about Cecily and how she believes she has it all. A new job, Andrew and working with charities but now the spotlight is on her and some are just waiting to watch her fall. What happens with Cecily you don’t want to miss. I enjoy her character and what she brings to the story. She is a strong character that has determination and just wants to be happy. There is great growth with her and the plot which made the story easy and entertaining to read. I found this story to be fast paced and hard to put down. It is a great story that I highly recommend.

A wonderful book about a middle schooler with Autism. Emerson was born with the ability to talk and all of that disappeared around the age of 15 months which is common with those on the Autism spectrum. She is a fiery teenager with lots to say and no way to share her words, there for she shares them in behaviors which are less then wonderful. Emerson goes through the normal teen life trying to not only manage her non-verbal world but also all of those teenager challenges at the same time. A wonderful read.

This is a unique story told through the eyes of someone who has ASD (Autism Spectrum Disorder), which is an intellectual disability, and sensory processing disorder. This was a beautiful and moving story about Emerson’s struggle with being non-verbal and the challenging obstacles she faces everyday. I was easily able to empathize with Emerson and her parents with the struggles they faced. This was a heartfelt story that you’ll enjoy you read.

Titania finds herself in the midst of helping the witches thwart evil, courting -not one, but four suitors, and keeping up with ruling her kingdom! She is stretched to the max but will do anything to keep her fae safe. As she comes into more of her role as queen, she is greeted with resistance from other kings and even some princes. Since she is struggling to tap into her power, she seeks out help from the witches and then from her cousins. Can she find a way to her power before it’s too late? Will she be able to find a prince that she can align herself with and grow to love? Or will she just be destined to fail on all fronts?
This is a really interesting series. Titania is a force to be reckoned with and a lot of the older male fae don’t know how to deal with that. She is constantly coming up with ways to save her kingdom in innovative ways, but it never seems to be enough. I hope that eventually they see what she does for all of them, not just her kingdom, and are grateful. The intrigue has me coming back and wanting to finish the series, so I know how it all ends! This was a fun read and an excellent addition to this series! Can’t wait for the next one!

Cecily in the City by Krysten Lindsay Hager is a sweet YA romance that will delight YA readers. It is a quick read with teenage drama and angst, anxiety, jealousy and deep-seated insecurities and misunderstandings. As I said before Krysten is known for her YA romances and it is what she does best.
The story is well written and flows well that will keep her younger readers engaged.
Cecily has two passions than man she loves and acting. Unfortunately, she learns that it is a cutthroat business and the lies, the images and innuendos will either break you or make you. Trying to deal with the fame and dating someone famous maybe harder than she ever imagined. Once again jealousy and uncertainties make for a precarious relationship.
You shouldn’t believe everything you read in this business.
Mind games others play when they don’t get what they want are a dangerous road to traverse. There are characters that you can’t help but like and then there are those who you want to take down a peg or two.

This amazing and inspiring true story is based on the life of Emerson. Middle school is rough enough, but being autistic and mainly nonverbal is even more hard. It tells the story from her point of view dealing with sensory issues, and soical issues of just wanting to be accepted. Amazing piece of work. Made me cry, laugh, and just couldn’t put it down, waiting to see how life works out for her.

I enjoyed the third book in this series, it was a quick easy read and had a good storyline. I still really like the character Cecily and think that she could be quite relatable for the young adult audience that is the target reader group for this book. The characters were really well written and I could really feel some of the anxieties that Cecily in particularly went through. I think having followed Cecily’s story through the first two books I really feel like I’ve been on this journey with her. I am looking forward to seeing what happens next for Cecily in book 4!

This was a quick read for me. It was a good story with a moving plot. There were a lot of connectable themes for the reader. I thought that Cecily was a well designed character and enjoyed seeing her handle what life was throwing. I would read more by this author.

• Cecily in the City is the third book in The Cecily Taylor Series. This is a YA Contemporary Romance that will have you turning the pages trying to figure out what is going to happen next. This maybe directed more towards teen to young adults but in my opinion anyone of any age can enjoy this story. Tbis authors style of writing and her amazing characters make for a wonderful story. Her characters are well developed and very easily relatable. I felt like I could imagine every scene as if I were there. Cecily can’t imagine her life getting any better after she’s moved to the city and landed a dream position on a daytime soap opera. She’s very excited to be in the same town as her pop star boyfriend. Rumors get started shortly after she stars in another singers music video. Lots of drama behind the scenes. She just wants to be happy with Andrew. Soon she will find out life is much different in the spotlight.. I highly recommend reading this book to find out what happens next. I look forward to reading more from this Author.

This was an inner-dialogue story of a young girl experiencing autism. I really enjoyed reading this book. Often times, when an autistic child is like Emerson and cannot communicate with those around her, knowing their inner feelings is hard. This book is an inside look at many different experiences that many different people have, not just autistic children. In this book, Emerson experiences not being able to get the correct words to come out of her mouth, becoming frustrated over not being able to communicate, feeling like an outsider when around children not like her, feeling like she needs to get up and move, sensory sensitive, and many other aspects of mental disorders. This book really brings to light how difficult this can be for autistic children and how much they care even if they can’t show it in a way people expect everybody too.

This is a story that show a snippet of what it is like to be the autistic person. The struggles within herself to control her actions and words and the struggles of society. I liked how the words were placed giving me the feeling of her loss of control when an episode hits. It helps me look at a situation a little differently now. Also all the the things her parents did for her safety or to protect her (which I could under) we got to see the other side and what she thought of them but could not articulate her reasons. It was an interesting read as it gave me insight to this life she and her parents lead.

Titania is leading her kingdom well. She is entertaining the idea of marrying to help her kingdom. Titania may be the only one who can save her kingdom. Is she the one foretold of? This was a nice return to the Fae realm. I enjoyed this young adult fantasy novel.

I knew before I started reading that this book would be emotional and I can say without hesitation it was that. This character has got to be one of my all time favourites. I connected with her so easily and I loved that the author chose her as the focal point of this book. It is unusual to come across a book that tackles such a prominent issue and even more rare to find one that does it so well. I think it is so important for more books like this to be written. It gives a great insight into what life with autism must be like and I applaud the author was the accurate depiction. This is a book that everyone should read.

There were things I absolutely LOVED about this book and parts that I struggled with, as a parent to an autistic child and being neurodivergent myself. I just wanted to reach through the pages in parts of this book and help Emerson and her family understand that she isn’t a broken or defective person with missing puzzle pieces, but rather an amazingly different and unique puzzle piece of a person with her own strengths that is living in a world built for NT people. I did love Emerson as a character, as well as her BFF Ryleigh, and hope the author continues to tell their stories in other books.

~Journey to Middle Earth with a Fae Legend~
This gripping series continues with Queen Titania’s journey unfolding in her quest to save her people, the Fae. This easily proves to be her biggest challenge yet. There is a legend, that has been hidden in Fae lore that One will essentially have all the power to end evil, for good. Of course, or heroine Titania is on the road headed towards savings her people, could it be her that is fated to wield this power?
There of course is also an evil omen, stating that there are three challenges that she will face on the way to achieving her goals. The development of Titania, and her closest support roles proves once again to enrapture the reader. With their quest pressured against the clock to save her people, Titania really takes her challenges head on and steps into her role as the Legend she is meant to become. Without giving anything away, you will be shocked and thrilled to the ending of the story walking alongside Titania on her journey.

A steampunk retelling of Cinderella? Yes please! This YA novel was equal parts historical fiction, steam punk, and fairytale. The relationship between Ellie and Ben once they were reunited was so, so sweet and the wicked stepmother was exactly what she should be.

I found this to be an interesting story of teen angst with a touch of mean girls. Cecily is just trying to achieve her dream. Right from the start, she’s dealing with drama. I found the story to be fairly relatable. You could feel her anxiety and trust issues. I found the characters to be well-written. You could feel the emotion, their personalities. I felt like it could have been happening right there around me. The plot was well-thought out. This is a good YA novel and a quick read.

This series in the start gives you a map to go back to, to understand which parts of the realm is being talked about which I highly appreciate.<br />This book takes place in the middle earth of the realm. Queen Titania has a kingdom to rule, a husband to find. And evil to fight. Could Titania do it all. This story just keeps getting better and better as it goes on.

I don’t think I even know where to start with this story. For many this will be an interesting read with many thought provoking moments but for me it spoke to me on a whole other level, a real personal one. I have a 3 year old non-verbal child and this story opened my eyes to how he may be feeling. I know he knows so many words but they just don’t want to come out like they should and I feel like I can understand this so much more now by reading this through the eyes Emerson. The way she describes the thoughts and feelings of Emerson’s parents was literally like reading some of my own thoughts. I was honestly glued to this story, it really was a very emotional and powerful read and I think is definitely a read for people who want to understand a little more about someone who is non-verbal.

This is by far one of my favorite fantasy series. I have read all 3 books and I love all of them. The writing is excellent and I can really put myself in this world with ease. The character dynamic is done very well. I have truly enjoyed this series from beginning to end.

Lost in the fantasy
I didn’t want this to end. Magnificently executed, I just love the vividness of the world this author brings. Titania is a brilliant character – she has her plate full but she keeps on giving her all. She needs to harness her gift, work out the prophecy and find a husband.
For lovers of high-end fantasy, paranormal and strong suspenseful storylines – you will not be disappointed. (Definitely start at book 1!) Highly recommend.

Each book in this series provides enough insight and detail it could be read together as a series or as a stand alone.
A strong queen that only wants to keep her people safe must work through her own trials and tribulations. But what if she doesn’t want to be a queen is that possible ? This series take you through highs and lows and while it unwraps the future you discover more and more about her past.
Fighting off demons, and creatures of the night who disturb her nights sleep. Will she ever see quiet days to spend with her loved ones ?
I cannot wait to read the fourth book. I must know how it ends.

This is the third book in this series. Please make sure you read the first two. We are back in the world with our leading fae Queen Titania. I am always immediately captivated by this author’s storytelling. She does a wonderful job building a fantasy world. Our queen has many tasks bestowed upon her. Like finding what all queens should have ….a king. But let’s not forget a queen will always defend her kingdom against a threat…even if it hasn’t been seen for many many years.

This is the third book in the series and they just keep getting better! I absolutely love Titania’s character and cannot get enough of her. Luckily the author released a third book in the series for us to enjoy! She has so much weighing on her shoulders as always. Not only is she having to protect her people she is having to meet with potential suitors. This as you know is the last thing she wants to do. Maybe she is really the prophesied one that will end all evil with the luck she is having. A new character is introduced and I actually felt second hand embarrassment for the first time ever for a character. As in the first 2 books this one will keep you on your toes and make you want to be able to read uninterrupted. It will also make you feel all of the emotions. I absolutely love this series and crave more of Titania’s story. This is definitely a series you should read in order to fully be engrossed in the Fae world!

To be a Fae Legend is the third book in the Realm Chronicles series. The stories are best read in order, so if you’re new to this series go back and read To be a Fae Queen (which I described as enjoyable, magical and vibrant when I read it a couple of years ago!) first. And if you’ve read the other books, you’ll already know you’re in for a treat!
This is a great series for teen readers who love fairy stories and fantasy adventures! There are some fantastic characters with relationships complicated by rank, responsibilities and conflicting loyalties. It was great to see more of my favourite character, Alfreda! Often the MVP, in my opinion… Titania’s development over the series has been good, she’s much more diplomatic and able to cope with situations that would have been too anxiety-inducing before, but is still true to herself and those she loves.
This is another 5-star read for me! I couldn’t wait to read it as soon as it came out and it didn’t disappoint. If you’ve enjoyed the rest of the series, you’ll love this!
