Decadence by Lynnette Brisia – Review by Jenni Bishop

DecadenceDecadence by Lynnette Brisia
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Mia and her co workers are out for a few drinks and a few laughs. When the group suggest Mia participates in the fun, she doesn’t back down. But what happens is something that she could never ever have imagined and nothing in life could have ever prepared her what did happen.

Seth finds himself out with the boys at a strip club, Decadence where what he sees leaves him wanting to see more. Unable to get thoughts of the beautiful girl with the amazing tattoo out of his mind, Seth finds himself drawn back to the club where it all started. Once inside Seth finds that there is more to this club than meets the eye. Where one private show gets you far more than you bargained for and is only the beginning to everyone’s worst nightmare.
Where do people go when they disappear? Just what is
going on in the private rooms of Decadence? Will they escape what the owners have in mind for them? Will they be strong enough to face their horrors and fears? Can life ever be normal again?

This book will take you on a journey into the most horrible, despicable and humiliating inducing experience any person should never, ever have to go through. Lynnette keeps you engaged with many twists and turns and through many, many raw emotions. This book is a suspense thriller with lots of sex and a little romance, that will leave you on the edge of your seat and make wonder how there is any way there could possibly be a good outcome. Some people may be uncomfortable with the content of this book but if you find your way through it you will enjoy this change of pace story. It is well written and is still a good read.
