Nite Fire: Flash Point by CL Schneider – Review by Jenni Bishop

Flash Point (Nite Fire, #1)Flash Point by C.L. Schneider
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Nite Fire: Flash Point by CL Schneider is a thriller supernatural shifter story that is full of action and mystery. CL very creative and has written a story that captures your imagination right from the very start. It is action packed with murder and mysteries and some pretty cool characters. The characters are interesting and have lots of depth and the main character is sassy, brash and loud and the heroine of this story.

Dahlia Nite is half dragon and half human who is as tough as nails. She has fled her world as a traitor and now protects the humans by hunting those who don’t belong on the human world. When gruesome, blood thirsty and unusual murders start to happen in Sentinel, Dahlia is enlisted by the authorities to help find the killer or killers. To help conceal the truth from the humans, Dahlia must come up with elaborate and far reaching details that seem far fetched on a good day. When the truth is slowly brought to surface, Dahlia finds she is the object of focus for the deranged killer and that everything she holds dear may be taken away from her forever. Dahlia knows she needs to find and stop the killer before all supernatural beings are exposed. However to catch the killer, Dahlia will be forced to return to the one place she swore she would never return to, the one place she once called home. Going home means confronting your past and confronting your past means coming face to face with ghosts that should have been buried long ago.

Will Dahlia survive all that is thrown at her? Will Dahlia find out the truth? Will Dahlia find help where she least expects it? Will Dahlia lose more than she bargained for?

The story will take you on a journey between different worlds of fantasy, supernatural, demons and humans. I recommend this book and can’t wait to see what happens in this new series by CL.
