My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Closed Set by Julia Harlow is a standalone suspense romance story that takes you to the distance. It is the second book I have read by Julia and I have to say that I enjoyed this one slightly more as it flew smoother and I did not get the moments where I would have gotten annoyed with something.
For me the story of Cassandra Carlson and Christopher Edwards is like a river where you go white water rafting – there are parts/moments where you do not know if Cassandra and Christopher will make it and the river is like Hollywood, you never know what is hiding beneath the surface.
Cassandra is a beautiful dance teacher who is working on her five-year plan at her best friend’s dance studio in Beverly Hills – her plan is earn enough with these five years and then go back home to Cincinnati to open a dance studio there and teach kids dance. She is in some ways naïve and wholesome and incredible beautiful and her attraction to Christopher is instant. Christopher is a British A-list actor who has finally made it after working hard in the industry for 15 years. His sole focus is on his craft. He has beautiful women falling for him right and left and he does not consider himself ready for an actual relationship … still, the moment he meets Cassandra, he is instantly smitten.
Julia will keep you at the edge of your seat while managing the underwater dangers of Hollywood and you will not have a one boring moment. If you do not mind steamy sex scenes, lurking danger and living on the edge, this book is for you!
