The Cowboy’s Socialite by Carmen Falcone – Review by Angela Shirley

The Cowboy's SocialiteThe Cowboy’s Socialite by Carmen Falcone
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

The Cowboy’s Socialite by Carmen Falcone is a the first book I have read this author and I enjoyed every word. The interaction between the two main characters is fiery and explosive at times with the hints of will they won’t they.

Lola has not had the best luck in LA, so she decides to convert the ranch her father has left her into a bed and breakfast, but there is one flaw in the plan her estrange husband also owns half of the ranch so this will become interesting.

So Lola rocks up in the ranch and Jack is appalled that she is even considering this option and bets that she could not be a Texan Cowgirl, so Lola rocks up in her designer cowboy boots to try and prove him wrong.

As the story builds the interaction between the two characters becomes more and more intense as they start feeling all the old lust come back. I enjoyed the style of the writing and the quick pace of the story. I read this book in a night and was griped with what would happen to these characters in the end. At first I did not think I would bond with the character of Lola but in the end I warmed to her. I recommend this book and it is a great holiday read.
