Hidden Scars Box Set contains the three books in the captivating Hidden Scars series by A.M Myers. If you have not yet read any of Ms. Myers work, this is a fantastic introduction. I have read several of her books now, and she always delivers a great read. I like how all her stories are focused on a particular couple, but there is an inter-connectedness throughout the books/series- as theses three books each focus on one of three siblings, Emma, Tucker and Trace Harrington- and I really love the connections to/with the spin-off series, ‘Bayou Devils’ as well.

Hidden Scars is the first book in the series and focuses on Emma Harrington who is struggling to reclaim her life after ‘him’. Moving forward isn’t easy though. She has lost a lot (of herself) and is determined to find herself again. So, when a very sexy tattooist enters the picture, her journey gets a lot more interesting.
Nix isn’t about to let her reluctance deter him. He is determined to break down her barriers and get her to open up. But what happens when the past catches up with her? Will she finally find herself again and be able to reclaim her life? What happens when the fear she has been running from catches up with her? Will Nix be able to help her?

Collateral Damage is book two in the series where Tucker Harrington and Daisy Connors get their story. These two have know each other for years, as Daisy is the best friend of Tucker’s younger sister, Emma. Daisy had a crush on Tucker since she was a young girl, but he never showed any romantic interest. Daisy has tried to move on but hasn’t been successful in erasing him from her heart. Then, a late-night visit and a fleeting kiss changes everything.

Evading Fate is the third and final instalment in the series. Trey has had a hard past that has shaped him into the man he is today. Addy has secrets, fate has been cruel, and she has had to deal with something that has been very hard to bear. These two are drawn together, their chemistry is electric- but can they put all their fears and issues aside, in order to embrace a brighter future, together?

I really enjoyed this series. The characters are wonderful, and I couldn’t help investing in each one of them and their stories. There was a lot of emotional content that really pulled me into the story and had me cheering each couple on throughout each book.
I really recommend this series, and particularly the spin-off series from this- Bayou Devils MC. I recommend reading the books in the correct sequence, to get all the relevant character and background information- which will enhance your overall reading experience.
