City of Kings by Bree M. Lewandowski is a ​dystopian romance and a quick read, it is also a standalone but would be good to make into a series. Bree’s writing is simplistic and flows naturally without all the pomp and fuss of a lot of details overwhelming you. With strong and endearing characters Bree has written a story that crosses several genres and makes it work well. Her writing style is unique and builds a future world that is full of conflict and unrest but where a second chance at love can prevail.
