Whiskey Dick by Ryan Ringbloom – Review by Angela Hayes
4 Stars
This book is a fun, flirty and hilarious romantic comedy by Ryan Ringbloom. It is a wonderful, light-hearted, feel good, laugh out loud story that kept me hooked right through till the end. I loved the characters- they really made this story shine. And I loved the quirky, original storyline, it really had me grinning like an idiot, or giggling like a school girl, a lot of the time. There was also more serious moments where I felt for the character/s, which helped to bring balance to the overall storyline.
This was my first book by Ryan Ringbloom, so I really didn’t know what to expect going in- but with a name like that, I really had to find out what it was all about. There was the chance that it would be too cheesy, or that I wouldn’t like it- but I am happy to report that was definitely NOT the case for this book. I really enjoyed it and would definitely read more of Ms. Ringbloom’s work.
Jax and Paisley meet at the airport, waiting on a flight back home. They both have a fear of flying, and this story sees them trying to handle their fear as their plans, and everything goes awry, with hilarious results.
Such a quick, easy and very entertaining read!
Thank you, Ms. Ringbloom!
