Just Exes is the story of Lauren and Gage. When Lauren’s apartment burns down, Gage arrests her for starting the fire. This is how they run into each other, years after Lauren broke Gage’s heart. Even thought its been years since they’ve seen each other, some feelings just never go away. It’s an “I hate that the I love you” situation. I went into this thinking it was going to be another exes get back together book, but I wasn’t pleasantly surprised to see that it was so much more than that. They each have their own things they are keeping from each other, but it doesn’t keep the two apart. .This is the first I’ve read of Charity Ferrell, and I was not disappointed.
