Self Love: A British Tale of Woe & Wit by TL Clark. This is the story of Molly, a mid 30s, overweight, florist who has the lowest self esteem of anyone! She has quit her office job and started her own Florist shop out of her home. Her latest boyfriend has broken up with her and she feels like she’s never going to find anyone. She has had some really mean things happen to her by men & her Mom says mean things to her all the time. She has a best friend Wendy who is her voice of reason. Wendy talks Molly into joining a weight loss group together. This book is full of British humor which I love. I did get bored with Molly being so hard on herself throughout the first of the book but it was understandable with the way her mom talked to her. This book will make you cry, laugh and cringe. I really enjoyed it.
