OMG this book! I love so so many parts of it! I don’t want to put it down and you know…work, sleep etc. So that being said I finished this quickly since I put my life on hold. Ha ha. Just kidding….ummm not really. Well I picked this up because I’ve read other books by this author and I love them. She does an amazing job of making me feel connected to these characters.

David Randall——first off he’s British! Oh and a male model. So you know he’s a looker and a heart stopper. I loved David! He did all the right things and made all the right moves. He was gentlemanly and very concerned for Lauren’s feelings….which I could *feel* coming off the pages! I could easily tell when he was happy just being with her. It made me smile as well. I enjoyed how David looked as his sister and her new husband. I could feel their happiness and love as well as Davids joy while looking at them.

Lauren is amazing in her own right! She is a singer…I mean how sexy is that! I loved how they incorporated music and her singing into their lives. I had never heard “The Nearness of You” by Norah Jones before but I have heard it now. I also enjoyed the tie in to Fly me to the Moon….very romantic! Anyway Lauren has that vintage style going for her and her crooner voice. She did not have a easy go…being the “girlfriend” of supermodel David but she toughed it out and toughened up a bit. Go Lauren!

One of my fav scenes was Lauren and David go to a local restaurant…..

Sally at the restaurant cracked me up! I’m pretty sure she would be me when hearing a British accent.
“ did you hear that? He said pi-con. Not Pea-can!”
So I said that over and over in my head….yup! British accent started!

This is a delightful story of two people who meet by luck and see if they can make a go despite all the obstacles. This made me laugh, chuckle and care about these characters. I already mentioned how lovely the writing style is. The story flows very nicely as well. I highly recommend and this book will be placed on my Re-read list.
