This is my first book by this author. I enjoyed the author’s attention to details that helped me make a connection with the story. It is a historical murder suspense book that started out a little slow then picked up after a couple of chapters. I enjoyed the characters and the journey of twists and turns they took me on. This is a story about making a mistake but when faced with a chance of a second chance, taking it may mean something worse than the mistake itself. I recommend this book.
