This book is about Casey Fontaine. She has been the backbone of the group of local swingers and the club they now have. But now she has cancer. She leaves Ocean City, Maryland and heads to California, where she can get help at a top hospital and stay with her sister. She has always been the black sheep of her family. Her sister was the perfect one. During her recovery time, she learns just how much family means. It also gives her time to reflect on the most interesting and best relationship of her life. But whatever became of this relationship? What will happen now?

I was so excited to see this book was going to be the next in the series. I really wanted to know more about Casey. This book definitely delivers. It is unlike any of the other books in the series, too. In my opinion, it is much darker than the rest of the books. There is a lot of sadness in the beginning of the book. This is realistic too. Happily Ever After doesn’t necessarily mean happiness all the time. It is realistic to see struggle. I really like that. Plus, it is only natural to add a relationship about two men and a woman when you talk about the swinger lifestyle. The characters you love are back, plus you meet Casey’s sister. The story is unique but very real. And hopefully it teaches us that whatever brings us happiness is the right thing for us.

I highly recommend this book to lovers of romance who aren’t afraid of reading about relationships that are steamy and a little different.
