This is a prequel in the Confectioner Chronicles. This book tells the tale how Hale joined the Confectioner’s guild. This book has adventure, triumphants, despair, love, and a bit of cockiness and luck! It is short, but is excellent at telling how Hale’s story started without feeling rushed or stretch out too much. I haven’t read the other books in this series yet, but I can say that I really enjoyed this story. I can’t wait to see more of this series!
