Forgetting Ophelia (Friendship and Secrets Book 2) by Julie C Gardner – Review by Moriah Venable

Forgetting Ophelia: A Novel (Friendship & Secrets, #2)Forgetting Ophelia: A Novel by Julie C. Gardner
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Forgetting Ophelia is the second novel in the Friendship & Secret series by Julie C. Gardner. This is my first novel by this author.

At a glance, Lia has her life in her hands and feels like she will be with her husband Jake forever. But life has other plans when Jake’s secrets come to light and not only shatters her but the life she knew.

When more tragedy strikes, Lia has to make to choice to try to work things out with Jake even after hurting her or make a new life for herself.

I went into this book not knowing anything about it. I feel it made it a better reading experience. Lia was a great character whose has to discover herself and want she want in her own life. She finally able to make decision that she want to make and the be the person she meant to.

This was a roller coaster of a book with a lot of emotions but I really enjoyed it. The novel has more layers and had twists and turns that I wasn’t expecting

I look forward to reading more by this author.
