The story MOVIE STAR (21st Century Courtesan Book 2) by Pamela DuMond is a new adult/romance book. It is a story that hooked me in from the very beginning and didn’t let me go until the end. It is a book that has steamy/seductive scenes. There are also moments when I wondered what was going to happen next. The story kept me turning pages. One of the main characters is a 21st-century Courtesan. She is a woman who is beautiful, strong, and independent. She is someone who helps others. She is a character whose life is intriguing and complicated. Her current assignment is Jake Keller, a movie start that could be called broken. Will she be able to find out the truth behind why Jake has shut down? Read this story to find out. This book had my emotions going up and down the entire time I read it. I found Jake to be a character that could be described as kind, good-hearted, with a heavy burden. He is a character that I grew to care about and wished for him to be happy. There are additional characters that are included some of which I enjoyed reading about and others I had to wonder as to their agenda and motives. There is emotional and intense dialogue. The story flows smoothly and I found it a joy to read. This is the second book in a series and I loved it just as much as the first one. I am looking forward to reading the next story.
