I loved Steel Archer! He’s one of those male characters that will do anything and everything for those he loves! Then we have Nicole Lancaster who is an FBI agent and used to men in the world of her work. The chemistry is intense between these two and the story is UN FREAKING BELIEVABLE!!!
This story is definitely dark and has its twists and turns. I love a book that keeps you guessing. These two had their work cut out for them but they’re story was phenomenal! Everyone needs this series!

Bound (The Torzial Affair Book 2) by Via Mari is amazing. This incredible series just gets better and better. Via has woven a superb web of betrayal and deceit that has more twists and turns than a road in the mountains. This complex and multifaceted and multidimensional story had me spellbound as I turned page after page not knowing where the story would take me. My heart was often in my throat as I followed along with these wonderful characters that have found their way into my heart and soul. It is one sexy, steamy and erotic read that will leave you in need of a cold shower.
Jenny is caught up in something she has no idea about but the repercussions are a matter of life and death, not only to herself but all those around her and the evidence just seems to pile up and up. There is only one person she can trust but it seems even that may be displaced.
Brian is trying to do everything he can to help the woman who has come to mean so much to him. It seems that for every step forward they end up taking several back. Who is behind this trouble and who can he trust? Will he walk away from the one who needs him the most when he is confronted evidence that implicate the worst?
Via is an author not to be missed. I am so excited to read the next book in this brilliant series.

This new paranormal, romance novel is a serious one click book. The character of Jonathan Kerr, I fell into instalust with. I mean, seriously what is not to love about a hot, sexy vampire. Jonathan was bitten and died. He woke as a monster. Jon is no ordinary vampire. A trained marine, a killer by profession and now by necessity, He is trying to come to terms with what he has become.
Lawan is an interesting character. She seems both cold and hot with her emotion. She is strong, and any book with a strong female character, I am going to love instantly. Lawan is hunted by her past, both figuratively and literally. She is the last of her kind. The last of the female hybrid. All of the rest were killed in the facility when she left.
She meets up with Jon and they two of them clash. And in a big way, as in she beats him to a bloody pulp.
This author is masterful. I am not sure how many words I could use to express the artistry of the world L.D Rose created. This book is a standalone, but I would highly recommend you read the other book as it gives you a great introduction into the world of the Senary. This book has all the emotions. Passion, Lust, Fear. This Paranormal Novel will convert even the hardest of book readers. You will want to give this one a read!

I’ve got to the point if I see her name on a book I don’t even read the description because I know I will love it. This is the story of Jenny Torzial a beautiful, successful, owner of a very dominant Consulting Company. She look so put together and classy on the outside you would hardly know that on the inside she is an emotional mess all due to the man who was to be her husband. He destroyed every once of trust,love and security she had. Enter Brian Carrington a cocky heir to the Carrington Steel Empire. He thinks all woman want from him are his money so he is not into relationships at all just one night stands until he meets Jenny at their best friends wedding. A great read about obligations. Sol is a young woman from a poor family who is forced to be sold off to King Nokkyn at harvest so they don’t starve. But when she meets a ethereal beauty of a man in the forest, she can’t help but loose herself. But as time begins to run out, will she choose love over duty? A great read. Well developed plot with twists and turns that I just couldn’t put down. Well developed characters like Sol trying to keep going deposited it all or Fenris as strong and sure but with a kind nature underneath. A great villian in the cold Nokkyn that will send shivers up your spine. I loved the visual detail throughout the novel like in the sense of nature with the ironwood with its oaks and the rivers and birds and moss and mushrooms to give it the homely feel with its sounds and smells so vivid as if you were actually there. Or the extreme sense of wealth in the big black horse and carriage of Nokkyn against the colourful fields of apples and corn and purple oaks beautifully written. I aso loved the use of mythology throughout the novel true to its origins with Fenris and Tyr and demons of Muspell which were well written and given the live and respect they deserve as a lovely touch. Overall, a great read and I would give it five stars

Infamy by Seelie Kay is the second book in the Feisty Lawyers series. This is a relatively short story but it is full of all the excitement and intrigue that you would get from any longer novel. Book one was a very good start to the series but this boom took it to a whole other level. This was edge of your seat, heart thumping, cannot read quick enough type of reading. The book was full of so many twists and turns and I could not put it down. If this is an indication as to how the series will be then I seriously cannot wait for the next book!
The Light at Dawn is novel by K. L. Montgomery. This is my first novel by this author.
After a tragedy, Angelia is still trying to pick up the pieces of her life five years later. To cope, Angelo’s joins an organization.
Mark Lyon is also trying to find a way to keep moving after losing his daughter Ashleigh.
When the two meet, maybe it’s a time for them both to start to heal instead of only existing.
This was a really emotional book to read. I enjoyed it but it was hard to read. I imagine it would be even more so people who have children or have been in that situation.
I have read a few books by this author and this is by far my favorite and most memorable.
The love story between Mark and Angelia is unimaginable but it still works. I love that they are able to help each other move forward even if that wasn’t how the relationship initially was.

Shattered is book one of the Torzial Affair series. The main characters are Jenny and Brian. Jenny suffered a very traumatic experience when she was brutally raped by her ex. Brian is extremely attracted to her. Jenny struggles to cope with the event and Brian changes things. I loved following the intensity and steamy romance the storyline featured. It was an easy read. I was confused for a bit regarding the Alfreita but it made sense as I continued to read. I loved how protective Brian was of Jenny and Chase was of Kate. I felt that was another way these men were able to express how much they cared. I can’t wait to read more in this series!

Caught in Make-Believe (The Caught Series Book 3) By Sharleen Scott. Another fantastic example of a romantic suspense story that had me hooked from beginning to end. While you can definitely read these out of order without confusion I recommend reading them all because they are all great. This one might have just gained the title of my favorite in this series but like I said each one is amazing. The author knows how to capture readers and keep them guessing. I was on the edge of my seat more than once that’s for sure. Each character brings something unique to the story and they are complex and relatable. If you want a great suspense story then this author is a go to for sure. I’m giving this book a five star review and highly recommend it to anyone.

What a fantastic novel i thoroughly enjoyed every second. The story is full of ups and downs it’s definitely not a easy ride but it’s also full of love, it most certainly played with my emotions that’s for sure. I must admit i got so engrossed i read it all in one sitting i just couldn’t put it down! I really can’t wait to read more and get stuck in absolutely amazing story.

The first thing you need to know is, have the tissues close by. The subject matter of this book will have you in tears frequently. This story may be a difficult read for some people as it deals with tragic events similar to things that have happened in real life and have been high profile in the news in recent years.
Even though this book does discuss politics to some degree, I am glad that the overall story did not focus on that. The story really is focused on two people who have experienced overwhelming loss and how life brings them together. Their grief is very real, you feel it as you read.

Secrets are so ugly. They create problems and you have to build lies around them to keep people out. One lie always turns into another. Michael owns his own company and isn’t looking for forever. Sophia is living life on a rougher side and just wants a break. Can you blame them for coming together? They’re both hoping and dreading something more. I really liked how the author played this story out. It definitely didn’t follow the same line as many other billionaire stories. The characters felt real and their emotions relatable. I haven’t read such an emotionally packed book in some time and this one is full of them all. This story is about a very sensitive subject that plagues our country and innocent young children. I loved the character development and the opposing sides they were on made this even more real. If you need a good cry with a great story along the way, as you’ll find yourself emotional throughout this read, this is the book to do it.

I think I’ve read almost all of this authors books and I love them all, this one might just be my favorite so far.
Storm chasers are always fascinating to me and although it scares me to death Im thankful we have those out there willing to risk their lives so that our advanced warning systems are in the places they are.
This was no different than the rest of this authors books with the easy flow of the writing and the unique storylines. I loved the “twist” in this story and that it caught me off guard and how it absolutely did not end up like I thought it would.
I can not wait for the next opportunity for me to read this author’s work, and I also can not wait to be able to go back re read the ones I have.
Infamy (Feisty Lawyers Book 2) Seelie Kay is a short and easy read with lots of suspense and intrigue. I recommend reading the first book before this one to get the background and history of the characters as they continue in this story. I loved the first book but this one is even better and is my favourite so far.
Seelie’s cleverly woven plot, where the suspense is palpable, had me on the edge of my seat, as they race against time to stop terrorists. I loved every bit of the action and adventure, the danger and lets not forget the humour and banter that had me laughing. Even though it is a short story it definitely packs a punch and keeps you on your toes.
The easy comradery, friendship and love between the characters and their antics makes them and their journey all the more real.
I look forward to and can’t wait to see what Seelie has in store for us with the next book and beyond.

The story An Improper Encounter (The Macalisters Book 3) by Erica Taylor is a historical romance book. It is a story that I loved reading just as much as the first two books in the series. It is set in a time that there are rules of society and how one lives their lives. To go against the rules can cause scandal and leave a permanent mark on a person. It is in this time period that Lady Sarah Hartford meets William Gordon. I loved Lady Sarah’s character. She is a woman who is strong and independent. I loved reading about how the romance between her and William starts. Lady Sarah begins to feel like she has found happiness. William then disappears and reappears married, a duke, and with a pregnant duchess. While trying to keep their relationship a secret both Lady Sarah and William try to uncover the truth from lies. Read this book to find out what happens. This is a story that hooked me in from the very beginning and didn’t let me go until I had finished the last page. It took me on an emotional rollercoaster that continually went up and down. I found myself caring about Lady Sarah and William with each chapter that I read. I also enjoyed reading about the other characters in the story. Some of them are familiar as they have been brought forward from the first two books in the series. There is bantering and flirting that goes on between Lady Sarah and William as well as some steamy scenes that make the temperature in the room rise. Don’t miss out on a wonderful story that has some amazing characters. I highly recommend both the book and the series.

Beginning to end, this book was a suspenseful ride that had me on the edge of my seat. I think I might have left indentations in my Kindle from gripping too hard at times. The book was very well written with a riveting plot and complex characters. It kept me guessing throughout. Really enjoyed reading this book and looking forwarding to reading more in this series.

Jace is an investigative journalist that is caught in a dangerous maze that could cost him his life. He knows things dangerous people will do anything to keep hidden, which forces him to flee for his safety. He meets Samantha and the first meeting did not go so well. She is a sassy bakery manager who is over men who sprout empty promises and colourful lies. They play a dangerous juggling game and the anticipation of what may happen to them is highly suspenseful and will have a reader riveted to the words on each page with narrow minded intensity.
Caught in Make-Believe is a perfect continuation of this wonderfully entertaining and dramatic series. A emotionally charged and creative drama that leaves a lasting impression and a thirst for more. 4 stars.

Nothing But Trouble (Irresistible Billionaires Book 1) By Ashley Bostock
I was hooked as soon as I started reading wonderful romantic story. I thoroughly enjoyed reading this sweet book that has moments of sadness, heartache, and love. Michael is a workaholic who has closed off his heart to relationships because of a past hurt. Sophia is a strong independent woman who is doing everything she can to help take care of her grandmother. Michael needs a date for an important charity gala and so he goes online to the dating website he created and that’s where he finds Sophia. He felt drawn to her from the moment he saw her. I loved how they got into their fake engagement, Sophia had me doing a fist pump on that one. When you read this book you will understand what I mean by that. During this time of their engagement there is definitely attraction and I love the chemistry between these two. They are very different so there are some bumps in the road along the way. This is a must read if you want to find out how these two end up. I highly recommend this book.

Hot mama!! Wowza! I don’t know what I expected when I opened this book. But whatever it was got blown out of the water. Simply put, this was fantastic! There Be Demons is the first book in the Andor Demon Wars Series by M.K Theodoratus is a really great YA urban fantasy- with an action-packed adventure woven through it. There is lots of danger, demons, gargoyle guardians, discoveries, mayhem, drama, mystery, magic, battles, and so much more…. As with my previous read from Ms. Theodoratus, this story made for great reading, with an intriguing plot, well written story, fantastic world building, and interesting characters who swept me along with them as their adventure unfolded, engaging my attention right till the very end. This is a very different world to ‘ours’- where the city of Trebridge has been invaded by Demons from Gehenathh. The only thing standing in the demon’s way are four gargoyle guardians who are tasked with protecting the city. When Gillen, the leader of the gargoyles sends for reinforcements, the commanders (Angeli) send four inexperienced teenagers to help battle the demons. Britt Kelly is one of the teens who were drafted by the Angeli commanders and sent to fight beside the gargoyle guardians in The Demon Wars. There is a lot to learn, especially if they hope to win. As these unlikely heroes hold the fate of Trebridge and all humankind in their hands. . This has a definite good vs evil theme to it that had me cheering the band of misfits on- anxiously reading to find out how the story plays out. Again, Ms. Theodoratus has created wonderful characters who have their own, somewhat quirky, and very individual personalities- who continued to develop and grow over the course of the story. Brit and her friends definitely discover a lot, not only about the world (of demons) but also about themselves. Well done!

Erica Taylor does a masterful job continuing her regency series and staying true to the characters already introduced in the previous series’ books. The writing style is full of wit, flawed characters, playful banter, a feisty heroine, and headstrong leading man. Familh continues to play such a large part in both main characters’ storyline development. Like Austen, the characters are prideful and bound to duty. And like Austen, these characters step boldly off the page and into your heart. Loved this book and series. Hoping there are more to come!

5 Star Snatching Dianna ( Feisty Lawyer Book 1) by Seelie Kay is a mystery suspense book that grabbed my attention from the beginning and kept it till the end. I couldn’t turn the pages fast enough I had to know what happens next at times I was on the edge of my seat. When Dianna (a law student) doesn’t show up to a event with her roommate. ALaw Professor Janet MacLachlan begins looking for clues to see if she was taken or not. One thing leads to another and she finds herself looking into a slave trafficking cartel. Will Dianna be found? I highly recommend reading this Book especially if you want to know what happens. I look forward to reading more from this Author.

The Light at Dawn by K.L Montgomery had me crying from the first chapter and full blown sobbing on and off all the way through. I did manage to smile a few times too. I had to force myself to put this book down just to get the emotions in check and rest my eyes from all of the tears.
Angelia has her heart ripped from her on a day in September and her life will never ever be the same. How she manages to continue to living is beyond me. I don’t know if I could do it if I were faced with what she is.
Mark experiences the same thing only five years later. His experience was harder for me to read without ugly sobbing because of it being his daughter and I am the mother of two girls, one of which is close to the same age.
This book is an absolute must read! I have read several other by Ms. Montgomery and I think this one will be a favorite of mine for a long time. An amazing story that hits all of the different emotions. Stock up on Kleenex before you start.

Nothing But Trouble by Ashley Bostock is the first book in the Irresistible Billionaires series which had me from the very beginning and didnt let me go.
Michael has no idea what’s going to happen when he sets up his fake profile to find a date for a benefit dinner. He certainly meets his match with Sophia.
Sophia is quite an amazing young woman. At only twenty four she is supporting herself and her Grandmother while going to school part time.
This is not your typical rich man/average working woman story and I’m so glad to get a new scenario.

Luke by Madison Quinn is the first book in the Dark Water Security series. I don’t think intense is a strong enough word to describe this book, especially the beginning. There were part of the beginning that haunted me even after I finished the book.
Luke wasn’t dealt the best hand in life to start but then to be held captive with no way out was even worse. He endured so much in his time there with most of it being horrible, but she was a ray of sunshine in his dreary existant.
He is thrown off guard when he meets someone who reminds him so much of her but it also brings those horrible memories back.
There are some twists and turns I wasn’t expecting but they were exactly what the story needed.
I cannot wait until the second book comes out and see what else is in store.

Snatching Dianna Feisty Lawyers Book 1 By Seelie Kay ☆☆☆☆☆ WOW!!! This is only the beginning in this series. What a great start for this suspenseful story.
Dianna Murphy is kidnapped on her morning run. Her roommate tries to report it. But the law says she has to wait 24 hours, because Dianna is an adult. She is strong, brave and will not let these people make her weak. That is exactly where this storyline picks up. I was drawn into the very first paragraph. It continues at a running pace. Seelie Kay has really written a spectacular story. So real in today’s everyday life. I feel she has really gone out and done her research on human trafficking. For that alone, makes this suspenseful story a must read!. That is really all I can say without giving too much of the story away. I am looking forward to see where she will take this series. Not for those under 18 due to adult content. I’m looking for more Seelie Kay!

Sophia Baldwin is a twenty four year old who is working towards becoming a nurse and also taking care of her sick grandmother. Her world changes when she finds out her connection online is actuall a CEO.
Can just one date be enough? Will Michael be able to open his heart and finally see not all women are like ex?
I really enjoyed this novel. I read a lot of billionaire romances but it was refreshing to have the female lead have a different profession and I also liked that she loved to paint.
Michael was frustrating letting other control him and thoughts but I was glad when he saw things for what they were.
I am excited to read the next book and hopefully see these characters again.
