Shattered Love is the first book in the Forever Us series by Nivia Borell. I wasn’t expecting this to be a too be continued story so I was surprised the closer I got to the end of this first installment.

Overall I like the story so far. There is a lot of back and forth, hot and cold emotions especially from Damien which did confuse me a time or two since the shift happened in the same sentence. But I totally get his anger and bitterness, though I do believe he could have gone about it a bit different.

Bria, was a hard character for me to connect to and I’m not sure why. She wasn’t a horrible person, but she was very closed off. As I type this out some of the reasons and motives fall into place. Why didn’t I see it sooner?

I’m invested so I will be adding the second book to my to be read stack. I really want to know what they do next.
