My rating: 5 of 5 stars

The Light At Dawn by K. L. Montgomery. Wow! That sums up this book. It was a very emotional read but in a very good way. Its the story of Angelia White who suffers the worst trauma ever, the loss of a child in a school shooting. This in turn destroys her marriage. She survives due to her other 2 children and she starts working for stronger gun laws by leading rally’s and going on a public speaking tour. On one of the tours she meets Gun Rights Supporter Mark Lyon and they have an instant connection. Mark is divorced with a daughter Ashleigh who is his world until he suffers an unspeakable tragedy. The connection between Mark and Angelia won’t go away even though they live states apart! Will they be able to overcome the tragedies they have endured to make a long distance relationship work or will they be too scared to take the risk. This is a very emotional book dealing with child loss and school shootings but the writer handles it so well. Its a beautiful story.
