A Cold Dark Place by Toni Anderson is the first book in the Cold Justice series. The story follows Alex and Mallory and many twists and turns. I was immediately drawn into the story and didn’t want to put it down. I really enjoyed the suspenseful parts the most. There was action and twists and turns that kept me wanting to read more. The characters are interesting and like that we got a bit of the backstory of each of them. This really lent itself well to moving the story forward. I really enjoyed this book and look forward to reading more in this series. I hope to see a continuation of the suspense in the upcoming books.
