My rating: 4 of 5 stars

The Case of the Missing Books (Summer McCloud paranormal mystery Book 6) by Nikki Broadwell is a supernatural mystery book that had me hooked from Chapter One. This is the first time I have read this series and the first time I have read anything from this author. I will say it can be read as a standalone but I do plan now to read the rest of the series. Nikki Broadwell gave us an amazing character that you grow to care for and an amazing story line that has the twists and turns that I love. I highly recommend this book, charged with intense scenes and details that will have readers wanting and needing more.

Summer is hired to help find a shelf of missing books and she is thrown into a world of darkness with a path of twists and turns which include her past. During her search she often asks herself, why are these books so important and why would someone want to steal them. During her investigation she discovers tunnel underneath that leads to many stores including her Tarot and Tea store. As she runs down leads, can Summer wrap her mind around escaping and that the answer could be written in the very books she is trying to find.
