The Inheritance: The Story of an Unlikely Submissive by India Kells is a short story. It is an interesting short story that I was able to read in one sitting. Lanier is a struggling artist who is not sure about her future. She has been notified that her Uncle has passed away and named her in his will. Now one could imagine getting a notice like that, but it is what she has to do to get the inheritance that is nothing like you would think. Lanier has to complete tasks in a box with Max to gain the inheritance. That is where the story became real interesting. Max is a friend of her uncle and he has a dark secret. Will Lani submit to her uncle’s wishes or will Lani walk away? Will Max be able to Lani to submit? You will have to read to find out.
