R.L. Dunn’s motto is to live a life worth living. She resides on Long Island, NY with

her retired law-enforcement officer-9/11 responder husband, two of her four grown

children, a giant golden Labrador and two crazy black cats. Retired after a thirty year

career as a first responder and EMS instructor, her other past lives include

caretaker to her elderly parents and mother-in-law, and mom of a childhood

cancer survivor. Today, she is a Lupus warrior.

R.L. is a PAN member of the Romance Writers of America and the Long Island

Romance Writers. Denying the effects of Lupus and deciding there is no

expiration date stamped on the bottom of her foot, she revamped Blood

Obsession, first written with a friend in1986 and published from a hospital bed

as a part of a bucket list belonging to her deceased friend and co-author.

Her latest book, Secure Again is the second book in the Chase Group Story Series.
