The Mourning Islands by Douglas Wells – Review by Julie Lounello

The Mourning IslandsThe Mourning Islands by Douglas Wells
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

The Mourning Islands by Douglas Wells is a four star novel. This novel is full of suspense and drama and will keep you on your toes. As Talmon gets hired to spy on a guy that lives on his boat in the Mourning Islands, he realizes he could actually live in this place that is peaceful and quiet. He loves being on the water and fishing but hates that he has to lie to everyone he meets to keep up the charade so he can keep spying on Rusty. As he gets further into this lifestyle, he meets characters that are all their own and enticing to him in different ways. After a murder happens, he knows he is going to have to dig deeper and not just live his life like he thought.
