Winging It by Lisa Gail Green is the first book in the Destiny Rules series. This is a YA with the main character being Zach. He has just turned 16 and discovers his mom is a fairy godmother and he is fae as well. The story is told from his point of view which I enjoyed. He is funny and snarky at times. Even with the fae bombshell, there is even more for Zach to adjust to and be challenged by.
This is a fun start to a new series. I enjoyed the story and the characters. The story has a different premise and I like that Zach is not a whiny teen. He is a good person and rises to the new adventures in his life. I look forward to reading more from this series in the future.
