This is the first book I’ve read by this author so I had no idea what to expect. This was definitely out my normal wheelhouse so it took me a little bit to get the pacing of the story down.

It is like poetry. Sometimes it is literal and other times figurative, but it is always visually written. The character development is fantastic and I was invested through most of the story. There were a few times I sat back to think about what I read and then re-read it to understand where it was coming from. Again, definitely not my typical read.

I found this story interesting and thought provoking and I absolutely recommend it.
