Sanctuary (Captivity Series Book 2) by Sarah Biglow & Molly Zenk – Review by Angela Hayes

Sanctuary (Captivity Book 2)Sanctuary by Sarah Biglow
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Sanctuary is the second book in the Captivity series by Molly Zenk and Sarah Biglow. It is a short paranormal romance with shapeshifters, action, adventure, and danger. And it is a very quick and easy read. After reading the first intriguing instalment, I was more than curious to see what this second episode would have in store for us. I actually found that I enjoyed this book a lot more than the first one- and am well and truly hooked now. I connected more with the characters this time round, than with the first book. Even though the books are quite short, a lot happens in a short space and the characters go through quite a lot in the process. I was anxiously following along to see how everything plays out for them.
After the events in the previous book, our team is on the run from the Shiver of Sirens who are hunting them- but they just seem to stumble from one mishap right into another. Aiden’s Bloodgraft is draining his lifeforce- and things take a turn for the worse. So, their quest for Sanctuary becomes a race against time. Lorelei has been thrown off her game majorly with what she’s going through. This leaves an opening for mistakes to happen, which if they do, could have deadly consequences. There are hearts at risk and lives on the line. Much is at stake for this band of asylum seekers. Decisions will need to be made, with no room for error. Our team is desperate to find Sanctuary, but if they find it, will it be everything they’d hoped for. We’ll have to read the next book to find out what happens next.
Can’t wait to dive into book #3!!

Thank you, Ms. Zenk and Ms. Biglow!
