Miami Days, Havana Nights by Linda Bennett Pennell was an interesting historical suspense novel. This is the second book I have read by this author. This novel was very invigorating and jumped straight into the suspense from page one. It was a little gruesome and bloody at times. I loved the character development in this novel. All the characters were realistic and several were easy to relate to. The imagery was excellent and detailed. I had no difficulty picturing each scene as the story progressed. This was an enjoyable read and definitely an excellent change up for me. I recommend it!
