Claiming the Cowboy for Christmas is the fourth Hills’ family story in Kadie Scott’s Hills of Texas series! You can read it as a standalone but it is such a fun to have read the series in order and knowing who is who and the dynamics among all the cast, leading and supporting!
The writer is throwing together Christmas and wedding and a cowboy and homecoming and history and … We have Ashley Hughes whose twin sister Taylor is getting married to Ashley’s ex Eric and as it is a small town then NOONE believes that Ashley is more than happy with this scenario, she only misses not having been able to come home the last 2 years … then Ashley’s childhood friend Jennings Hills, a cowboy extraordinaire, enters the stage, sorry, the honky-tonk where the bachelorette party is taking place and the rest is history … well, these two have a loooong history and lot of things get unearthed and the jealousy and … well, it IS a Christmas story AND it is a romance so you can imagine how it all ends!
If you need a pick me up and like from friends to lovers and Christmas stories then Ashley and Jenning’s story is for you for sure!
