Kermode (Legends Series Book 2) By Maggie Adams 5 out of 5 stars
The story Kermode (Legends Series Book 2) is a wonderful book to read. Both the storyline and the characters are amazing. I loved reading about Piper and Noah. I grew to care about what happened to them with each chapter that I read. Piper has been having weird dreams and when Noah meets Piper, he is stunned to find out she is the one that has been giving off power. What does that future hold for Piper and Noah? Read this book to find out. The story does have romantic scenes and there are moments that made me smile. There are also scenes that are suspenseful. There are additional characters that you are introduced to and that are friends with Piper and Noah. I would love to know about their backgrounds and stories. Don’t miss out on a book that you will not want to put down until you have read the final page. I highly recommend reading it.

The Ash Park Series Box Set (Books 1-3) By Meghan O’Flynn 5 out of 5 stars
This boxset has three stories that are amazing to read and will keep you guessing until the end. I was on the edge of my seat wondering what was going to happen next. The storylines are amazing as well as the character. They are written in such a way that even with the situations that they personally have, you root for them to be successful. You see their human side with all of their strengths and faults. You are introduced to a young woman, a district attorney, and a detective. There are suspense and danger in each story. The stories can get emotional and I found that my emotions went up and down with the characters. Don’t miss out on a set of stories that you will not want to put down. I highly recommend reading them.

Recall by Meghan O’Flynn is the sixth book in the Ash Park series. An absolutely gripping series these book will have you on the edge of your seat. I love how familiar these characters feel now. It makes it so easy to slip back into their lives and connect with them each time I read a new book in the series. This book is brilliant. It is full of all the twists and turns I have come to expect from this author. It is such an intense read I found myself glued to each page. I have learnt that once I start a book by Meghan O’Flynn to leave myself enough time to finish it all at once as I simply cannot put the book down when I’ve started it. Anyone who is a fan of this genre should check out this series and this author!

I enjoyed this book. It is a paranormal shifter story that is engaging and I read it in one sitting. This is a well developed story that kept me turning pages until the end. The characters brought the story to life and made me feel as if I was right there with them. Piper is in a new town and has taken over her grandparents bakery. Everyone is great until she finds herself in the forrest naked. Noah hunts rogues. He hears about Piper and is intregued enough to see if there is a danger. I highly recommend reading this book to find out what happens next.

Renegade is the first book in The Mercenaries series by Raven White. This is the first book of Ms. White’s that I have read, so I was curious as to what I might find between the covers. This is a romantic suspense- with danger, mystery, opposites attract, Alpha males, and a sassy leading lady. This is a tried and true recipe, which Ms. White has put her own spin on. It is fairly predictable, but enjoyable nonetheless. I really feel that the story could use a little more development and depth- which would make it an even better read. There were intriguing and suspenseful moments, and the chemistry between Eliza and Renegade was off the charts. So, if you like your stories on the spicy side- this definitely fits that bill. The story definitely got better as the story evolved- but there were parts where the flow was disrupted, and the story lagged from time to time. I am intrigued by where this series is headed, so will be keeping my eye out for upcoming releases: Hacker (Book 2) and Sensei (Book 3) are listed as releasing soon. Alpha Male sexiness meets sassy leading lady- and the sparks fly!

I give this book a five star review. This book delves of the adult theme park Spicetopia as we’re introduced to Dr. Micah Greene and Natalie Roux. The two immediately click as their unspoken sexual tension steams up in unexpected ways. Their connection for one another is immediate, sexy and fascinating for the reader to explore their inner thoughts. The reader finds themselves rooting for this couple that’s two complete opposites. You have to read this one and after the first few chapters you’ll be hooked!

Testament of Feats: Book of Sorrows Book Two by K.H. Jones. This is the second book in this amazing series. I would highly recommend reading the first book before hand to help you to understand this one. In this book we are still on a journey with Night Scream to find a fellow Ranger. You meet the same characters from the first book and you get to know them a little better. The journey from point A to point B is full of danger, intrigue, unique characters and romance. This book will keep you on your toes as you are transported to a new universe. This story has sucked me in and I can’t wait to read more from this author!

Amy’s Santa: Satan’s Devils MC Second Generation #1 by Manda Mellett is a new series of the second generation of the members of the Devils MC club. Most of the original members are there but have or are taking a back seat to the new members who most happen to be their kids. It is a great start to the new series and I absolutely loved, loved, loved the characters and the other books and I fell just as in love with this book too. Manda does MC books well and I always hang for more of these wonderful men and women who take care of their own, who serve their own kind of justice and love like no others.
Amy has come home for Christmas but it is the last place she wants to be, she doesn’t want them to know her dirty secret. Unfortunately her family knows her too well and soon some know what is giving her the haunted look on her face. One the old members cannot sand will not walk away from, vengeance is the only way for the one who hurt their little girl. One man has been her rock since her life was turned upside down but can he give her what she really wants? Now being home the one she longed for, for the longest time offers her something that may just make her whole again. But who will she chose?
I cannot wait to see what Manda gives us next and I want the next book now. Just a hint Manda.

Amy’s Santa (Satan’s Devils MC Second Generation #1) by Manda Mellett
5 +++++++ Stars
This is the second book this week I’ve read by an all ready favorite author that keeps breaking off of series with new series with most of the same characters, and once again I was worried that it might be over done or just be too much, and once again I should trust in this author whom I love so much because this read has now become one of my favorites.
I have fallen in love once again with the Tuscan chapter of the Satan’s Devils. The way she worked this story at first had me thinking I would get confused trying to remember who was married to who and then the kids, but somehow she managed to keep me on track and it was simply amazing.
What I loved the most in this book was the FOG’s (lol) I guess probably because I am so invested in all of them already, and I have to say that Joker absolutely cracked me up in this book, and Drummer and Heart…. Love them so much!
The quick update and progression of Amy and Drew’s past was genius, it wasn’t in flashbacks and was just enough to give me what I needed to want to know more. We were introduced to both of these characters in the first series and how they both grew up to be such awesome people can only be because of the love and family shown to them by the club. I was truly thinking at one point this book was taking a whole different route than it did and I’m so happy it didn’t. One thing I love about this author is she isn’t afraid to write scenes that might make you cringe a little or sometimes a lot so I will say beware there are a couple scenes that could be triggers for some.
I LOVED Amy’s story, it made me laugh way more than once (how the book got its name still cracks me up) and seriously made me cry, I hated for it to end. I feel like I’m transported into these stories and would love to know every single one of these characters.
I can’t wait for more of this Second Generation as well as more from Colorado…I dont think Ill ever get tired of reading about the Satan’s Devils!

Tanuja Ramachandran: Hunter-Seeker by Kumar Sivasubramanian is a crazy and at times, madcap, action adventure. It felt like “Machete” meets “Monkey” (TV series) then mixed with high octane Anime, and all wrapped up in a Bollywood action movie. Add in a quest for revenge, a fast pace, violence, an unorthodox covert operative/mercenary, roller derby, mutants, and narcolepsy- and it was one heck of a crazy ride. I read this book a few days ago and I am still thinking about it- and wondering how I really feel about it. There were times I laughed out loud. Other times were intriguing and intense. There are a lot of characters, quirky and interesting (some with very hard to pronounce names), a fast pace, and a LOT going on- so there were a few confusing moments for me. And times where I was pulled out of the story while I figured out how to pronounce a name. This is just me though- and others probably won’t have these same issues. It didn’t detract too much from my enjoyment of the story though. Very original!!
This is the first book that I have read by this author and it will not be the last. I really enjoyed this fantasy novel and the author was able to take me to a whole new world that I enjoyed. This book is YA, extremely YA. But it was nice pallet cleanser because I don’t often read alot of YA. Even being geared towards a younger audience, the author was able to hold my attention and the story line and writing were well done. This story has action, suspense & even has a few gods that made the story that much more unique. The twist and turns were great too! I am looking forward to reading more by this author and I would recommend this to anyone that likes fantasy and YA paranormal stories! Happy Reading!

I’m not sure how this author has slipped by me in the past! I absolutely loved this book and have now found a new favorite MC author! I can’t wait to read more from her…especially since this is a second generation book! Now I will be going back to the beginning and finding out the start of the Satan’s Devils MC. I’m looking forward to reading about the F.O.G.’s from their younger days!
In this story, Amy is returning home to spend Christmas with her family, the Satan’s Devils MC. She is bringing Xander along with her to help her get through it. He has been her rock for 3 months after something terrible happened to her that has left her broken. She is hoping to make it through her time at home without her family finding out what happened. She believes they will think less of her if they find out. Which is just crazy…they’re an outlaw MC for God’s sake!
Wizard is the current president of the MC, and is also the reason Amy left the compound 9 years ago. What will happen when he sees Amy again? Can she keep her secret from not only the club president, but her father and the rest of her family as well? What is Wizard’s take on the man Amy brought home with her? So many questions! You’ll find all the answers inside this amazing story!
This is a story of strength, family, love, humor, and support. It shows us the true value of family and friendships. It is a story filled with hope. Hope that nothing is insurmountable if you are surrounded by supportive people who love you and will be by your side no matter what. And yes…it has lots of sexy bits for your reading pleasure! Such a great story that I thoroughly enjoyed! I think you will too!

The final book in C.L. Schneider’s trilogy was fantastic. As Ian Troy’s journey came to an end, I cried, I was that vested in his story. This heroic novel had many ups and downs, but the journey was so worth it. C.L. Schneider once again reached, for me, the status of J.R.R. Tolkien and George R.R. Martin. She is that good. This is an author I will follow and I look forward to the next journey.

The Crown of Stones: Magic-Borne (Book 3) by C. L. Schneider was a wonderful conclusion to the series! I enjoy this genre of books because of the history, character struggle, and character development. The story progressed it got better and better and the writing evolved with the characters. Another thing I enjoyed was just all the twists and turns it really fit with the world. There was enough action to keep you focused on the pages.

Alice Will is a must read. The main character simply had me in awe. To be so young but so brave and strong. Trotter is an amazing 14 year old. Through the whole story you will be struck by how mature she is. To be this young and have so much resting on your shoulders. The author really put this story together well. I couldn’t put it away. The plot was well thought out and the characters complimented each other very well. There were some shocking moments that had me like what why. But overall it was really enjoyable to read this story. The crossing between realms was magical. The level of danger these demigods had to face to try and save the world had me on the edge of my seat. As a mom I was in a panic like lord if this was my child. To be able to create worlds that others can’t even imagine is a truly amazing gift. This is my first book by this author and I wasn’t disappointed. I’m excited to get book 2.

Single and Other Singularities (The Woman Scientist Trilogy 2-The Italian Saga Book 8) by Gaia B Amman has a different flavor for me. Amman wrote a well thought out emotional roller coaster ride. The story’s core is based on a cancer research and all that goes into that story. The characters are complex and easy to follow along. The characters have many emotions and dealing with the healthcare field can be a pain in the neck. There is more support for those in the healthcare field. It is like a big family, which makes it apparent why everyone supports one another. Will the research move forward to the goal or will everything fall apart? Can everyone work together? One will have to read the book to find out the answers.

Master’s Rise: Book 1 (Phoenix Series) by L. Ann Marie
4-Stars
Master’s Rise: Book 1 (Phoenix Series) by L. Ann Marie is an exciting and action packed motorcycle club novel. Cort Masters had been lied to and lost faith in his brother’s. In this novel he starts a chapter of Badass in New Mexico and reinforces the ideas of brotherhood and trust. Cort was an excellent main character and so was love interest Seren. Her name was unique and fitting. She was strong and brave as well as independent. This easily pulled Cort in. I loved reading how they both interacted with each other and the gang. The brotherhood also did amazing things for their small town. This book was written well and I really enjoyed reading it. My favorite part was the humor the brothers shared. Definitely worth the read.

Maggie by Mya O”Malley was quite a nice surprise. It’s basically a “who done it” book with a little good clean romance thrown in. It’ the “who done it” part that was the big surprise. One of the reasons I like mystery is because I like the anticipation of figuring out the villain. In Maggie, it’s quite a trick. I thought I had it, but then I didn’t, then I had it, but then I didn’t. A thoroughly enjoyable book……and did I mention the ghost? A sweet little paranormal story with quite an interesting little twist.
Oh my gosh! I thoroughly enjoyed this book. I have always loved mythology so this was right up my alley! It took a bit for me to get hooked, but once I was engrossed, I couldn’t put it down! The characters and story lines are rich and unique. I can’t wait for the next installment! Wonderful job. 5 stars.

Ian’s future and his fate finally comes to a close in this fantastic end. I couldn’t put it down, and it makes me so sad that there isn’t another book to continue Ian Troy’s adventures. I will definitely be reading more from C.L. Schneider in the future! This whole series has quickly become of my favorites that I’ve read.

Maggie is the first book in Mya O’Malley’s Maggie Trilogy. It’s a thrilling ghost story with plenty of mystery and suspense. Our heroine, Naomi, finally overcomes her writer’s block when a ghost from the cemetery that backs onto her garden starts haunting her. Determined to tell Maggie’s story, Naomi is torn between creating a fictional version of events and uncovering the truth. With spooky dreams giving Naomi and the reader glimpses into Maggie’s fate as the book progresses, we are drawn into her story. I particularly like Zelda, Naomi’s cat. Zelda plays a hugely important role in the story by first drawing Naomi’s attention to Maggie’s grave, and is always up to various antics. Full of character, Zelda is a great companion for Naomi and a catalyst (CATalyst!) for events. There’s also a strong cast of (human) secondary characters. I was amused by Naomi’s friend Amy’s unfortunate attempts to set Naomi up with dates. I was entranced by little Holly’s instant affection for Naomi and her father Bryce’s warmth. For me, this is a four star book. It kept me on edge throughout – a real page-turner. I’d recommend for fans of the paranormal. A great book to snuggle up with on a cold, dark night!

With a new author comes a new series! Renegade is Book #1 in The Mercenaries series and what a brilliant introduction to this series! I loved this book from the start, I became emotionally invested in the characters in this book, and couldn’t wait to see what journey was taken on.
Renegade and Eliza were amazing main characters I loved following their story, they had an instant connection and having their relationship develop and chemistry off the charts it had you hoping that they could have a HEA. I loved the alpha male, sexy, protective Renegade, Eliza definitely is his perfect match, while she doesn’t mind putting him in his place she also knows when to accept his protectiveness, they make a very real, relatable and loveable pair.
This book has action, romance, passion, danger and suspense, it has you totally hooked and captivated from the start and leaves you wanting more! I can’t wait to read Hacker’s story next and where this author takes along on his journey and anything else this author has to offer!

Amy’s Santa by Manda Mellett is the first book in the Satan’s Devils MC second generation series. This book is an absolutely fantastic start to a new spin off of this already brilliant series. I love how this author keeps finding new ways to keep this series – this family – going. Each and every boom is different and yet is clearly part of the same world. Every time I pick up one of these books it already feels familiar and is so easy to get drawn into. The characters were so alive for me in this book. I really wasn’t sure how they were going to work things out. Yet as always this author has created a brilliant story that is everything you could hope for. I cannot wait to read the next books in this series.
