Amy’s Santa is the first book I’ve read by this author and I enjoyed the book. I wasn’t sure exactly what was going to happen after reading about when Amy has no choice but to leave the compound and flee to Phoenix. Amy and Drew were always attached at the hip growing up. Unfortunately, there were to many years between them so they were unable to bring their relationship past friendship. As the years went on the feelings were there for both of them but that didn’t matter. When Amy walks in to catch Drew in a compromising position, she knows she need to get away…far away! She decided to go away to school and become a nurse. Now she is coming home for the holidays and brings one of her good friends home with her. Amy doesn’t know where should would be today if it weren’t for Xander. He saved her….rescued her when she needed him to. She knows by going home to spend time with her dad and the rest of the MC family is going to be hard. She is a shell of the person they know her to be. She’s carrying a secret and she is afraid if anyone finds out her secret they will blame her. Xander is cornered by Amy’s dad Heart ( Amy’s Dad ) and has no choice but to come clean and tell him what the problem with Amy is all about. Will Amy’s dad understand what happened and stand behind his little girl? What will happen when Drew and Amy see each other. Will seeing Amy light a fire under him? Will Drew finally settle down or with the club president remain single? I thought this was a good book. I’m not a fan of MC books because I can’t deal with trying to remember who is who but this book wasn’t so hard.

I have to start by saying this is my absolute favorite thriller series right now and for a long time. I have completely fallen in love with the dark and twisty world of Ash Park and the detectives that work so hard to make it safer for the inhabitants while struggling with their own deep dark demons. These books will knock your socks off and are absolute must haves. Box sets make my day for so many reasons, one being easy gifting so I can spread the goodies around, and definitely something I have already done with this. I can’t wait to see if we will get more Ash Park books in the future or whatever twisted story Meghan O’Flynn cooks us up! Below is a review for each individual books.
FAMISHED ~ Book #1: I will admit I was hesitant going into reading this novel. I ADORE thriller novels. Love the gore and scares, and by all means give me all the twisted intrigue, mystery, with a twisty plot. I want to believe this could be real so I can be scared. See, we live in a pretty scary world already. One, where just watching the daily news is enough to make me want to put three locks on my door and cameras in my home with a fully loaded gun in my nightstand. So what really confused me was when I began to really get into this novel, was all those one star reviews that had me so hesitant to pick up a thriller novel from an author that I adore. I have several points I need to make because it has been really weighing on my mind here. First, Meghan O’Flynn is a clinical therapist and a mother. Can you imagine the horrors she hears and sees on a daily basis while having to go home and live a “normal” life and be a nurturing mother? I struggle as a mother with the guilt of knowing I brought a child into this world that is slowly, each day, becoming more and more depraved to a point where I fear to go to even the grocery store. She gets a backstage pass to this stuff. So yeah it isn’t so shocking to envision the phrase so often used to describe such shocking writing…
“Thomas grinned like a fifteen year old girl with a cock in her ass.”
Umm… you apparently don’t read, watch TV, or go to the mall, etc. I have heard phrases like this be slung around, all too much, sadly in one form or another. This is supposed to be from a depraved person and depicts a state of mind. It is crucial character development.
Second, gore and sex is definitely a major role is this book. Now I know this isn’t everyone’s cup of tea. It isn’t a necessary aspect for a thriller book, but for this storyline it was necessary to have the details in order to fulfill the plot. Given that nugget of information you can decide whether you’d like to give it a try or not, but don’t rule it out completely just because it is a part of the story until you consider that. It is not done in distaste or overwritten and everything has its place. I can think of many great horror movies that were amazing because they managed to be detailed with gore and violence to a realistic point. It made the movie realistic and feel as if it happened not was a written script. Those are the ones that get you. Famished does this, and that is a difficult feat!
With that said and out of the way, and if you have decided to keep going you are in for one hell of a thrilling ride. I picked this up about 8:45 at night, it was raining (again) and I just needed something to help me unwind to get to sleep. I had no idea that I would be reading well into the night and devouring this book in one sitting. In fact I am actually typing this review very sleepily at 4 am because I awoke with a start from a disturbing dream (those darn scary bedtime stories) and had to do something to distract myself for a bit. This book is still very much on my mind and I am sure it will be for quite some time. Luckily, Conviction, the second book is available now so I am off to dive right into it after this. CONVICTION ~ Book #2: Conviction is the second installment in the Ash Park Novels from Meghan O’Flynn. She has quickly become my favorite thriller writer and one-click go to author for this genera. I have never been disappointed with a novel of hers and once again she has managed to top the bar she set with her last. Conviction took me on a riveting, perplexing, and hair-raising journey that I never wanted to end. I absolutely adore Meghan’s knack for making it nearly impossible to figure out the twist before it happens. I am known for being the one that figures out the movie twenty minutes in, and same for most books like this, but never with Meghan’s. I am 80% of the time wrong, and I LOVE it!
Like I said before, this is the second installment in her Ash Park novels. They could be read as standalones, but I would highly recommend that you read them in order. There are a lot of reoccurring characters that make up the team that do the investigations and so forth. I find it would be a travesty to really divulge much of anything else about the plot because I just can’t ruin this book for you. Curl up with your favorite blanket in a comfy spot. Set the mood and settle in for a dark adventure you are sure to enjoy in one sitting. Thanks Meghan O’Flynn for another outstanding thrill!
REPRESSED ~ Book #3 Holy fracking wow! Repressed is another impressive chilling thriller from Meghan O’ Flynn. I must confess, after each of the Ash Park novels that I read by the ever talented O’ Flynn, I am more enamored than I was with the previous one I just praised as the best of the series. O’ Flynn really has the knack for drawing in the reader and holding you and your thoughts hostage long after you finish the last page. Each of the books could be read as standalones, but I would read them all and in order. For one, as mentioned, they are all great, but they do build in plot and stories, as well as have characters that we do get glimpses of in each of the books, and two, why not?? It is the perfect season and they are all available to scoop up and enjoy!
Repressed gives us the story of Curt Morrison. I always knew that there was more to Curt but I had no idea what was to come from him that is for sure! (No spoilers here though!) Though, as we follow him in his new life with his wife and adorable new daughter we begin to learn about some deep and dark demons that lay ‘repressed’ in his past. The case that Morrison and Petrosky are working on also becomes an overlying factor and everything Morrison has ever cherished will come into jeopardy. Will he be able to conquer his past demons and do whatever it takes to protect the ones that he loves now? Or will the past finally come to catch up to him?
This book touches on some difficult subjects, like the others have, but it is done in a way that makes the story flow. Every piece is necessary to the novel, and tells the story that the reader needs to fully understand all that is going on. Nothing is done without care to details. You can tell these are topics close to Meghan O’ Flynn’s heart. I personally cannot wait to get my hands on the next novel, which will be right after I finish this review. I think a storm is brewing outside too, perfect weather for an Ash Park novel!! Thank you so much for another amazing novel, Meghan O’ Flynn!

Testament of Feats: Book of Sorrows Book Two by K.H. Jones just blew me away. There is so much to be said about the book, the characters, and the world. I truly enjoy this series, I find myself opening up the kindle app multiple times during my busy day and stealing time to get to the end. The characters are so well developed, I felt so connected to their story and development. The world building is phenomenaI, I did not want to leave.

Testament of Feats: Book Of Sorrows Book Two by K.H. Jones is another extravagant adventure story. I loved this book and could not put it down. From start to finish, Jones pulls readers in. I was impressed with book one of this series but this one is my new favorite. The storyline is easy to follow and descriptive. The author paints a picture with each scene so that readers can easily visualize the characters and what is happening. The characters were once again amazing. They were realistic and had unique and memorable names. They all had excellent qualities and fit the story well. This was such a fun read for me. I look forward to more from this author in the future.

I really appreciated reading this book for many reasons. One, being based in Buffalo and being a Buffalonian it was really cool to be able to put myself in the places these students visited. Secondly, I myself was a graduate student. I thought about going for a PhD after completing my masters and this book made me glad I did not go further with my education. The author was able to portray the stress that goes into graduate school perfectly. My older sister completed her PhD in NYC and I now have a better appreciation of what she went through. Yes, every person has a different PI or boss and different experiences, but the stress is still there. What I liked most was reading about the different cultures that formed these relationships/companionships/friendships, what ever word you want to use for them. The different cultures and personalities that came together to create such a tight knit group of people was amazing to read about. Though one of them may have felt alone, they were never truly alone. Having experienced it myself, the author does a fabulous job of demonstrating the complex relationship among competitive friends; the fine line of wanting your friend to succeed but also wanting to do better than them. I loved watching Leda’s rollercoaster of emotions and how she handled each situation with as much maturity and of sound mind as possible. As someone who suffers with anxiety and depression, it was hard to read the pain that she experienced but I loved reading her poetry/music and her emails to Andre back home. I think that every person that reads this book could walk away with some extra knowledge about life and relationships. School is not all about books and classes, it’s so much more than that.

What a surprise this book was! I didn’t know we would be getting more from this series and what a book this was. It can essentially be read as a standalone, but I wouldn’t want to as we get to know more of the history of Petrosky in the previous books.
We are introduced to a new partner, Jackson, and I felt she was perfect to add with Petrosky. We’re onto another killer and this one is tests Petrosky and his moral compass. What a book. You won’t want to miss this one.

Alice Will is a well-written, well-paced book. It was an easy read since it’s probably aimed below my age. Nevertheless, I appreciated the world-building and I loved the main character Trotter, who is funny and adventurous and unique. Full of action, magic and fantasy, I haven’t read fantasy for a while and loved dipping back into the genre. I loved the characters and the setting, and there was enough suspense to keep me going. An enjoyable read.

This book was a surprise to me. I really wasn’t expecting another one. So SURPRISE! This picks up after the last book. You do not need to read the previous ones to understand this one. The author does a good job smoothing in anything from previous stories into this one. Although Petrosky is easier to understand after seeing all he has been through if you have previously read these. This is as wonderful, scary and shocking as the previous ones.
Jackson (new partner) and Petrosky driving down the road. Freaking people out driving down the interstate….hilarious!! Jackson seems to add to Petrosky’s weirdness. She was a great add especially after what’s happened to his previous partners. She add some levity and sick humor as well as sarcasm.
This is another great story in the Ash Park series. Reading the end after the story. There looks to be more if these two.

Rule (The Larussio Legacy Book 1) by Via Mari is another great story that is part of the original story of one of the most powerful families in the world. It can be read as a standalone but as a lot of the main characters are from the original Prestian series, I would go back to the beginning so you have a much better idea where it all started. Trust me they are just as good. I love that the original characters share an active part of each of the series. I love the worlds she has created and the new characters fit in perfectly. What can I say, I love her work.
Katarina Prestian is now in charge along with her cousin Giovanni Larussio’s of making her father’s wishes come true. But there is only one thing standing in her way and threat is the rest of the Larussio family. That should be easy right? But not when the family is the Italian Mob. Can Chase and his team keep her safe and carry out her father’s dream?
Giovanni Larussio doesn’t know Katarina from Adam and doesn’t know what to expect but rest assured everything he does is for the family and nothing will get in the way of that. However, an unexpected beauty now fills his thoughts but she wants nothing to do with him and his family after what they have put her through. Singles: And Other Singularities (Woman Scientist Trilogy 2, Italian Saga) by Gaia B. Amman is yet another great book in this series. You are yet again taken straight into the life of Leda, someone who I think we can all relate to!! There are times when she has me laughing and times when I was to scream in frustration at her and yet it feels like what she goes through, and the decisions she has to make in life are so relatable. It is great that this book has a serious side to it, the funny and the serious offset each other very nicely. This was a brilliant read and I can’t wait for more.

Recall is the sixth book in the An Ash Park series by Meghan O”Flynn, This book can be a stand alone novel, but you would benefit from reading the other books in the series. There are some things that show flashback and characters grow and that would be understood better if you read the other books. This book is full of mystery, suspense and murder. It is a page turner and roller coaster ride that will keep you wanting more and more. Detective Petrosky is on the job again. He is in fear that there may have been a serial killer in the making for 5 years. Will Detective Petrosky find the murder in time? Will there be more murders? You will have to read the book to find out.

The Ash Park Series Box Set contains the first three books in the Ash Park Series by Meghan O’Flynn. I have read all the instalments in this series to date, and I can tell you that series just goes from strength to strength, each book delivering an intense, gripping, dark, and intense read. This box set is a great introduction to the series, three books for the price of one! Brilliant!! This box set contains “Famished” (Book 1), “Conviction” (Book 2), and “Repressed (Book 3).
Famished (Book 1) Famished is the first book in the Ash Park Series by Meghan O’Flynn. It in an intense, dark, gory, clever serial killer thriller/crime novel that had me completely gripped in its hold from beginning to end. There were times I thought I should have looked away, closed the book and stopped reading because it was quite shocking and disturbing in places- but I couldn’t, I was glued to the page, heart in my mouth, on the edge of my seat trying to piece everything together and figure it all out before everything was revealed. But, wow- I did not see THAT coming, at all!!! Ms. O’Flynn spun a brilliant web of intrigue, mystery and danger- cleverly choreographing everything into a riveting story and keeping me guessing right till the very end!!
Conviction (Book 2) Conviction is the second instalment in the gripping Ash Park Series by Meghan O’Flynn. I am really enjoying this series, as it has all the elements required to make it a great thriller. This second book could be read as a standalone, but as it has recurring characters, and some backstory from the first book- I really recommend reading book one before embarking on this one, so you get the entire picture and the ‘complete’ experience. The story is quite suspenseful, and the author did a great job of creating tension and building anticipation. I was trying to pick up any clues and piece the puzzle together to figure out what was happening and solve the mystery. Ms. O’Flynn has woven a compelling story, full of interconnected details, multiple layers, intrigue, danger, mystery, drama, thrills, and chills. She kept me guessing the whole way through. Conviction is set about a year after Famished and we get to catch up with Shannon Taylor, Eddie Petrosky, Curtis Morrison and a few other characters who we met in book #1. Ms. O’Flynn gave this story a flavour all its own- and it’s a fantastic follow up to Famished.
Repressed (Book 3) Repressed is the brilliant third book in the Ash Park Series by Meghan O’Flynn. WOW! This book was intense, dark, disturbing, chilling, graphic, dramatic, and gripping!! This psychological thriller is a superb addition to the series and had me swinging between never wanting to put it down, and needing a break from the tension and suspense. I was glued to the pages from beginning to end, reading it in one sitting- and absolutely loved every mind twisting minute. The series has been such a fantastic read, and this book just took the series to another level. I didn’t think it could get any better, but I was wrong! This book could be read as a standalone, if you wanted to, but there is a recurring cast of characters and snippets of backstory and previous plot information that pop up in this book, so reading all the books would give you a bigger picture and provide a larger, more developed perspective- which in turn will enhance your overall reading experience. The books are all really great- quite intriguing and suspenseful, so you it’s really a win-win situation! I knew when I met Curtis Morrison back in book one that there was going to be so much more to him that what he was letting on, or what we were being shown- and man-oh-man this story really unveils him in a raw and revealing way! His story was startling, intense, emotional, and unforgettable! He has been through so much and come so far, but his past just won’t let him forget! After the harrowing events in the previous book, and Curtis and Shannon getting married and having little Evie, this book picks up with them adjusting to parenthood, Shannon trying to manage with Postpartum depression, and Curtis returning to work after a month off. Things are never simple in Ms. O’Flynn’s world, because it’s not long before we are once more swept into another brilliantly twisted tale. This is definitely the best out of these first three books!
If you like crime thrillers on the dark side, with intense storylines and heart-pounding twists- then this is the series for you!

I’m so happy and overjoyed that satan’s devil’s are getting a second generation. I was so eager to get a hold of this read and I tell you what I wasn’t disappointed not a little bit I was utterly glued to the pages, enoch didn’t really shock me as I’ve loved every novel from this author. This novel has triggers but also joyful moments with some sexy times too so it is a novel you must read!!

Singles and Other Singularities (The woman Scientist Trilogy 2- The Italian Saga) is the latest offering from Gaia B Amman. This series has slowly worked its way under my skin- and I can’t help being invested in these great characters and the outcome of the story/series. Reading from book one and following along on The Italian Saga, I have enjoyed seeing the characters evolve, grow, and develop along the way. It is interesting- Ms. Amman’s descriptive and detailed style creating an entirely believable, and relatable cast of characters- and situations. I like how well rounded they are- this is definitely a character driven storyline. Looking forward to more!

Amy’s Santa is a very well written adult book! It definitely is 18+ with the trigger warning content and some gang related activity involved. Overall great story, as Amy finds herself back in the MC compound with her family, as she struggles to hide her trauma. She’s left with some life changing choices that doesn’t seem so hard to choose. With some twists and turns, I couldn’t put the book down. It really makes me want to read the whole series before this one. As a stand alone novel it is great, however I think the characters would be easier to keep together if the original books are read first. This is my first time reading a novel from Manda Mellett, but it won’t be my last!

Loved it! I love books revolving around motorcycle clubs, and this one did not disappoint me. Any book that can make my heart skip a beat is a good one by me!
I did not get to read the first series, so I came in blind, but I could easily get into the story and follow along. Bless Amy’s heart, I would be torn up too if I had seen the man I was in love with in a compromising situation. Now years later, I think she is brave and has mass courage to come back to the MC for Christmas, knowing she will most likely run into Wizard. You can tell these two belong together but so much is standing in their way it seems like they will never be able to get around it and finally move on. On top of that there is Amy’s secret, and club business, it seems like everyone is in for a mess of drama. I really enjoyed this book and will definitely be checking out the other books from this series.

The Ash Park Series Boxed Set (Books 1-3) by Meghan O’Flynn. This was probably one of my most favorite series I’ve read this past year. In Famished we get to know Ash Park a run down suburb of Detroit and Hannah Montgomery who lives there. She knows its reputation but she likes it until a crazy starts killing women from the shelter she volunteers. When her boyfriend ends up murdered in the same way she begins to realize her past may be coming back to haunt her. In Conviction Shannon Taylor is the district attorney who is taking care of her dying brother while dealing with her jerk ex husband who is also her boss. So when a closed case comes back up and a girl is in jail for a crime Shannon knows she didn’t commit she has to try to figure it out. She knows the girl is hiding something because she is scared. Can she keep her family safe all while trying to find out what is really going on? In Repressed we meet Detective Curtis Morrison who is trying to clean up all the bad things because of his past. When his wife and child go missing his past has come back to haunt him. Will he be able to fight his past and win? Read these 3 books and you will be so sucked in to Ash Park. I loved all 3!

Amy’s Santa is the first book in the second generation of Satan’s Devil MC written by Manda Mellett and its not my first book or the last book that I will read by this awesome author. The characters are great and are well written, I also loved the plot. I read this story in one sitting that how much I enjoyed this story. Amy is going home for Christmas is something she eagerly look forward to. She can never wait to get back and see her dad, Heart, her stepmom and her younger brother and sisters, as well as the proxy cousins, uncles and aunts who she grew up with. The Satan’s Devils MC has been her family for all her life. But this year is different she has had a rough few months she knows if she doesn’t show up there will be so many disappointed people. They will know that something is wrong if she doesn’t go home for the holiday. She also fears if she goes home, she won’t be able to keep her secret. For the last three months Xander’s has been her rock ever since her world blew up. He has barely left her side, and he’s promised he won’t stop now. She is going to try to pretend everything is alright if is by her side. But what happens when her façade cracks and her MC family demands answers? She can’t let the m know her secret if she does, they will surely take matters into their own hands and she can’t let that happen.
She will defiantly join in the celebrations and pretend that there’s nothing wrong she can do this, or she can’t.
You will have to read the book to see if Amy pulls of her façade. I highly recommend this story and can’t wait for book two in this series.

Such an Epic Ending, my only regret in this is that it is ending. I loved following Ian on his journey through action, adventure, love and history as he did what he had to to destroy the Crown of Stones. There were so many moments, especially in this one I had to hold my breath for fear of who wouldn’t make it through much of the action. There were moments I screamed, moments I cried, and moments I was elated. C.L Schneider did an absolutely brilliant job with this series, from the first book to the last, each one got better and better and made you love or loathe and feel for so many of her brilliant characters. It’s a wonderfully magic and rare occurrence when that can happen, especially when each book gets better than the last, but I adored all three of the books. I say my only regret in this is that it is ending, but it was wrapped up wonderfully and doesn’t need to be stretched out. I will definitely have a book hangover from this series, as I try to find something to fill the void in my heart The Crown of Stones series left behind. I recommend this for mature audiences, especially those with a penchant for fantasy and a grand story. 5 out of 5 Stars as always.

I haven’t read a young teen fantasy novels in a long time. So I was a little nervous if I was going to stay interested in reading this book and not feel like the characters in the book were too young for me to connect with. Well to my surprise I was very entertained. It’s great coming of age story with a lot of action. I love watching apocalyptic movies or tv series. I find myself rooting for Alice to make the right choices when her back was against the wall being so young learning how to use her powers and so much weighing her shoulders. This book had me entrained and on the edge of my seat, just as if I was watching it on a tv series. The way the characters were Introduced and how vivid the story line was you didn’t even need your imagination to be immersed into the book as if you were a character. I was ready to read book number 2. In conclusion, this book is a great read and I recommend this book to my 14 yr old son and to anyone who’s reading this review you won’t be disappointed. Wild and fast paced, this story kept me on my toes from beginning to end. I wasn’t sure what exactly i would encounter with this new author. But I loved every action packed page. The imagery was vivid and the characters were very engaging. I thoroughly enjoyed this caper and hope to read more from this author.

I really love a good mc book. This one rubbed me weirdly. I have no issues with differences unless they’re underage. My issue was the watching this little girl grow up and then bam she desirable. Like what? If you get pass that the book was enjoyable. Get to see this sister/ brother type relationship blossom. It was innocent and pure. The way that Drew took care of Amy and made sure her childhood wasn’t always taking care of others. She grew to be an amazing young woman. The author definitely gives a juicy story weaved with interesting characters. I really like bad boys that are softies on the inside.

Let me start off by saying, I loved reading this book! It is a great story, and the fast that its a true story, makes it that much better. At first I was worried about the way it is written, a series of flashbacks, inside of flashbacks, and from 3 points of view. But Lisa Jones Gentry did a wonderful job keeping it all straight and making it flow smoothly. I highly recommend this book. It tells the scandalous story of how Joe Steele came to be. He is the product of a black man and a white woman, which is scandalous enough in that time, but to make things more interesting, his father was a Catholic priest, and his mother a nun. Joe was adopted, and as an adult, found out who his birth mother was and had limited contact with her. When she is sick and in the hospital, he is listed as her next of kin and is called to the hospital. They use that time for his mother to tell her story. Of how they came to meet, fall in love, and the heart wrenching act of putting their child up for adoption, and coping with the after effects of it. Wonderfully written, and brings out so many emotions.

Jax Marlin – To Catch a Marlin was an interesting 4 star read.
This story is set in the future. Pedroni is an officer and is assigned to look for a vigilante (Jax) that has taken things into their own hands when it comes to criminals.
Jax is the vigilante that Pedroni is looking for. But of course she doesn’t see herself that way, she is going after terrible people which stems from something in her past. When they meet, there is an instant connection between them. As Pedroni gets to know Jax he starts to struggle with right and wrong and starts to understand why she is doing what she is. I liked how Jax was leaving things for Pedroni. What will Jax do in the end? Will he let his feelings get in the way?
There is so much more to this great read. I was drawn in by both characters and really loved each of them. Jax is a strong mysterious woman who can take care of herself. Pedroni was great as well. We get suspense, danger, and so much more. The author pulls you right in with her writing and you feel like you’re right there with the characters. All of the secondary characters were great. I will warn that there are some scenes that could cause triggers for some. I look forward to reading more in this series.

The Ash Park Series Box Set (Books 1-3): Famished, Conviction, and Repressed by Meghan O’Flynn was a great 5 star read.
Famished is book one in the Ash Park series. There are so many characters POV’s it took me a bit to get into the book and know who everyone was. Once I was familiar it was easier to follow.
Hannah is hiding, hiding away from someone who is very dangerous. She’s always jumpy and leary of things around her, just when she thought she might be safe her world is flipped upside down. He’s found her.
He watches her, he wants her, and he’s about to get his wish. He’s so close and she doesn’t even know it. What will happen when/if he gets his hands on her?
There is so much more to this read, you will be on the edge of your seat wondering what’s coming next. Each character adds a great element to the story and it seems they have their own little secrets as well. And there is a heck of a twist at the end that will leave you in shock. I can’t wait to read the next book in the series. I will warn that there are some scenes that may be graphic and triggers for some.
Conviction is book two in the Ash Park series. We start with the prologue where Shannon is in court prosecuting Ashley, a woman who is accused of killing her drug dealer boyfriend. This part is in Ashley’s POV. Did she really do it? What’s going to happen to her baby?
Shannon is proud that she got a conviction in her case, but was she really the killer? Ashley’s lawyer is convinced she didn’t do it and is determined to find the truth. When some leads come in on a case that she thought was closed, things start to take some interesting twists. Shannon also finds herself in danger.
There were so many people that could be guilty my head was spinning and totally not who I thought when we finally get the answer. There were so many great characters, some likable some hateable. My heart went out to Ashley and what she was put through. This was a great edge of your seat read that pulled me right in.
Repressed is book three in the Ash Park series. All I can say is wow, after reading this book, it was disturbing, dark, intense and twisted. Once I started I didn’t want to put it down.
I was excited to get to know Morrison better in this book. He is newly married and a new dad on top of it. He had a serious addiction in his past that has caused some blank spots in his memory. When his family is kidnapped his past comes spiraling back.
Will he be able to save them in time?
This was a fast paced read that twisted me in so many directions. There is so much going on I don’t want to give anything away. The secondary characters add a great element to the story. I have to say I wouldn’t be disappointed if Roger fell off the face of the earth, I did not care for him at all. My emotions were all over the place and I was on the edge of my seat. Meghan does a great job with her writing and all the detail, she pulled me right in. You feel like your right there with the characters. If you love dark suspense this is definitely the book for you. Warning: some scenes are gruesome and could be triggers for some.

Testament of Feats: Book of Sorrows by K.H, Jones is must read, BUT I highly recommend reading book one Book of Judgement. K.H. Jones is an amazing author, who engages you from the first page to the last page. I found myself seeking out Book of Sorrows and diving right into it. I needed to know what was going to happen next. In this book, we follow Scream who is on the lookout to find a fellow Ranger. Now in reality nothing goes as plan and Jones keeps that theme going on in this book. I enjoyed the journey with Scream. I felt as if I was walking right beside Scream the whole time. Will Scream find the fellow Ranger? What will Scream endure during the journey? I highly recommend reading this book to enjoy the journey yourself.

Amy’s Santa by Manda Mellett is book one of the Satan’s Devils MC Second Generation Series.
Amy left home a long time ago but no matter how long she’s been gone, she can’t help but look forward to going home for Christmas. She’s not sure what to do though. If she goes home, her family will know something is off. If she doesn’t go him, they’ll know something’s up. Can she fake it well enough? With the help of her friend Xander, she puts a brave face on and returns home. Amy isn’t the only one that has to face some truths upon her arrival. Drew has some of his own truths to face. Will they be able to work through their differences and come together?
I really enjoyed this book! I wasn’t sure how everything would work out between Amy and Drew but I enjoyed diving into their story to find out. There are some dark aspects to the story but the author writes the story very well. I couldn’t put it down!

I think you could read Recall as a standalone but you would get so much more out of it knowing more about our Detective Petrosky and the other recurring characters so if you can take the time, start from the beginning! Detective Petrosky has a new partner and a new investigation that is leaving him torn as on some level he does not want the killer to stop as he has been keeping Ash Park most vulnerable safe from the criminals that Petrosky has worked so many years to put away … Our beloved Detective is still messing up his personal life but he is working on getting his act together while he is brilliantly working on his cases with a new partner who brings her own dry humor into their partnership! Jax Marlin: To Catch a Marlin is the first book in the To Catch a Marlin Series by T.K Toppin. This is my first read from this author and I was not disappointed. This book is a cat and mouse but in a sci-fi story. I really enjoyed the interaction between the characters and how the chase added to the story. Jax Marlin is a vigilante in the 24th century and has decided she must stop four criminals from forming an alliance. Will Jax Marlin get to them first or will Special Inspector Michael Pedroni? This is a well thought out story and I look forward to what is to come next in this series. If I am to judge by the first book this will be a great series.
