Renegade (The Mercenaries Series Book 1) by Raven White

5-Stars

Renegade (The Mercenaries Series Book 1) by Raven White was an excellent action packed romance. Sam aka Renegade is a former military member now mercenary who is called to return a favor to his friend Sparrow. Sparrow’s sister Eliza has been attacked recently and wakes in the hospital confused. She is not sure who attacked her an why. Renegade is to be her protector. Sparks fly when the two meet and the danger intensifies. The two must work together to stop her attacker and maintain her safety.

I loved this short story. I was able to read it in one sitting. I am excited to see what comes next in this series. I loved all the characters and how well they were developed for such a short read. Eliza and Renegade were amazing. I loved following them and also the wit and humor they shared in their conversations. The storyline was easy to follow and organized. I loved that several supporting characters also had their own sections which played an important role in the development of the story. It had an excellent plot and climax as well. I was definitely hooked immediately with this book. I highly recommend it!
