Bad Enough (The Deadman’s Tribe Series Book 2) by Nicole Craig – Review by Angela Shirley
Bad Enough by Nicole Craig
My rating: 4 of 5 stars
Sylvan is writing her next book, wanting to add a bit of spice she is given “Lobo’s” name to help her in the scene and understand the whole club world, so when she meets Lobo and he directs her and answers her question she is enthralled with the whole scene.
Although when she becomes involved in a case and she gets to meet the real Lobo as in TB can she put her emotions in a box like he can and get to the bottom of the missing girls or will she be the next victim.
TB has lived his life in the military, a great operative and team player but there is a side that he keeps separate from the team, the club. So his two worlds collide and he becomes determined to protect Sylvan but has the frustration when she will not give up her research to help with the case and puts her in the line of fire. Can he help her without letting his emotions come to the surface.
This is the second book in this series but can be read as a stand alone story, the story is full of twists and turns, with the chemistry of the two main characters jumps off the page. Although this is a rather long story you do not get the feeling, the story is fast paced and will have you reading well into the night to finish it.
I always love a flawed character and TB definitely is the definition of this although a strong Alpha he has had trauma from childhood and his career which has him being vulnerable in certain situations which is always refreshing to read. Sylvan also being a bit soft at first you get to see also the strong female character she is and making her a perfect equal for TB’s character. The secondary characters also gives this story an extra layer that is just brilliant to read.
I can not wait for the next book in this series.
