Covert Threat: A Gray Ghost Novel, book 5 by Amy McKinley is a 5 star read.
Jules is a brilliant scientist but she has PTSD over an accident she had as a child where her father and sister died and also memory loss of anything before the accident, so when things start to mysteriously happen that she can’t explain her boss decides she needs a bodyguard, trying to figure out what is going on starts with what she can’t remember.
Trev works at a private security firm made up of his brother and many others who are like family to him, when he’s hired to look after a brilliant scientist he can’t help falling for her but he needs to find out how real the threats are to her.
This is my first book by this author and I loved it, the story dragged me in and left me shocked at the ending, I would highly recommend this book and I will be going back to the start of the series to catch up.
