My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Forget Nico: Falling for the Wrong Italian (Italian Teens novel 1, The Italian Saga) by Gaia B. Amman is a young adult/teen romance- full of all the teenage angst, drama, emotions, banter, antics, and discovery you would expect in a YA story. The series is a fictionalized memoir of the author’s younger years, set against the backdrop of Italy in the 1990’s. I have enjoyed this series and this story was no exception to the rule- although the teenage drama really frustrated me at times.
Leda is a great character- a bit of a tomboy, and her life is set to get a little more complicated. Add Alex and Nico into the mix and things get interesting.
Looking forward to the next book!

Thank you, Ms. Amman!
