The Player (Men of WarHawks Book 2) by Jacquie Biggar. I loved this book. Its a book that will suck you in and you won’t want to put it down until the end. Its about professional Hockey player Roy Donaldson who is benched because his ex girlfriend/stalker causes nine kinds of trouble for him. Enter Patience Kennedy who is a Personal Assistant and working on being a junior partner. She is hired to help clean up Roy’s image and Roy is not going to make her job easy! When Roy and Patience meet sparks fly and Patience is fighting her feelings along with Roy’s sullen behavior. Will Olivia, Roy’s ex be caught in time to save Roy’s career? Will Patience get the job done of improving Roy’s image? Will Roy and Patience let their guards down and see where their feelings lead? Read The Player to find out!
