My rating: 4 of 5 stars

This is my first book by either author Danielle Ackley-McPhail and Day Al-Mohamed. It was not my normal genre to read, but I’m glad I did. This was a good story that was a different telling of Ali Baba and the 40 thieves. I was intrigued with this detailed story and deep characters. This book was action packed and full of love, betrayal, death, treasure and magic. It’s a good story and I will take this book as a lesson to read things I normally wouldn’t from now on. Definitely a good book, and worth a read.
