Fall: The Ragnarök Prophesies: #2 by A.K. Morgen is a paranormal fantasy, coupled with Norse mythology. This book takes off right where the last one, Fade left off and it moves at a much slower pace. It focuses on the mythology more and the thoughts and emotions that the characters are working through, sometimes a little too much. In this story we get more backstory in to Ari and Dace’s past lives and AK gives us some side plots that keep you on your toes. In true AK fashion she leaves us hanging for the next instalment.

Bevan is so gifted with the sweet romance genre. And then you throw some mistletoe and Santa in the mix – what a perfect combination! (I smell a new Hallmark Christmas movie…) Anyway, this charming story tugged at my heartstrings immediately and I breezed through this charmer in one sitting. Loved every page and cannot recommend it enough. If you love holiday romance – run and pick this up now!!!!

Holy guacamole! I jumped into this one face first, without having read book one, and was overwhelmed by the sheer emotion of the journey (in a beautiful way). Heavy on Norse mythology – which I loved – this book felt epic and relatable. Having read some of the other reviews I realize that my love of this book would probably even be enhanced if I had read book one – which is on my to do list. All in all, a beautiful read. I didn’t feel as though I was at a loss without book one so it does stand well on its own – but I will be grabbing it ASAP all the same.

What a sweet love story! Love Comes In The Mourning is a novel written by Erin Bevan. This is a story that puts you on an emotional ride from the very beginning, which caught you from the start. In this book we meet Lesley DeLoach. Lesley is a divorcee who is determined to find her way. She also wants a new life herself with the help of her aunt when she inherits her aunt’s estate. Then we meet John. John has lost his wife and is trying to keep his life afloat raising his children and running a business. When these two meet there are definite sparks. But the question remains, do they something about that spark? Are the wounds still too fresh? These two had a really great connection and the characters worked really well together. I was really impressed with this book and would definitely recommend this book to people that want a really good love story. This book grabs you and hooks you from the get go and keeps you there the whole time. This is my first book from this author and I can’t wait to read more from her!

Absolutely loved this book. The author has a way of just reeling you in and immersing you in the story in a way you feel you’re in the story. I really loved the story between John and Lesley. Both having been hurt before they deny the growing attraction. A story about growth, learning to open their hearts again and love. I highly recommend this read!

Love Comes in the Mourning by Erin Bevan is an amazing story. The description summarizes it as a typical love story of second changes and finding love, but it was so much more. There was a wonderful story within the story. While the main focus is on Lesley and John, we also hear about her great aunt’s story, through journal entries. Lesley is recently divorced and inherited her great aunt’s house, which she dreams of turning into a bed and breakfast. However, it needs a LOT of work, more than she expected. John is a local contractor hired to do repairs, and is struggling to make ends meet after his wife passed away from cancer. At first the two don’t get along, and struggle to work together on the house. But before long they find middle ground and start to make a pretty good team. There are a lot of highs and lows in the story, and topics of love, loss, confusion, friendship, and more. We find out at the end there is more to Aunt Myrtle than anyone knew, but I won’t give it away. I actually loved her story more than Lesley and John’s, due to the way it was written. There was surprise after surprise and we didn’t get the full reveal til the very end. Highly recommend and cannot wait to read more by Erin Bevan!

Finding the Dream was the first book I’ve read by Joanne Patterson, from her stand alone, Rebecca Steele series. I never know what to expect when I read a standalone series, especially when I don’t read the books in sequential order. While I wish I had read book one first to get to know the characters a bit more in depth, this was still a great read. I enjoyed the characters and felt as though the storyline flowed well. Definitely a fun, fast paced book that I enjoyed reading on the lake. I look forward to reading more from Joanne Patterson.

This was such a sweet and emotional story. There were definitely some tears and laughter while reading this book. Lesley has moved to a small town where she inherited a house from her aunt. The attention to detail in this book made it so I felt like I was right there in the story. I highly recommend this book.

Tompkin’s School: For The Extraordinarily Talented (A Supernatural Academy Trilogy Book 1) by Tabi Slick is a great introduction to this series. The Torvik, twins Izzy and Kain are great characters, can’t wait to see their development in future stories. The world the author builds, seems familiar but also new and strange. The story kept my interest and kept me turning pages. I must say I was not prepared for the cliff hanger. I am looking forward to the next one.

This school for the Supernatural talented boarding school sounds like it would be an interesting school to attend. There are paranormal studies, and plentiful mysteries to go around. Izzy and Kain are two new students to Tompkin’s that found they have talents that were hidden. There was darkness around the school that makes matters worse. Will Izzy and Kain realize what is going on in time or will evil take over. Tabi Slick has created a high school for the gifted. The story was a bit slow to begin but it sure ramped up in a hurry. I found me turning pages rapidly turning pages to see what is in store for the twins. I recommend this story for young readers to adults.

The Divided Twin (The Divided Series Book 2) by M. Billiter with Kyle Thomas . 1st I want to say BRAVO to Mary BIlliter for tackling such a difficult subject. This is the second book in this series and I highly recommend reading the previous book first. Its the story of Mary and her twin sons Aaron & Branson who are off to college. Aaron is in Ohio and Branson is in their hometown college in Wyoming. Mary is a hard working single mom and has struggled raising these boys on her own. Their childhood was fairly turbulent and Mary as worked so hard to get the boys in college so when she is diagnosed with cancer the boys third twin David comes out. David has always been known as the third twin that exists in their minds and he is taking the illness of their mother and is determined to tear Branson & Aaron apart. David is a very evil figment in the mind of the twins and he loves to create havoc. Will Mary have to die knowing her boys will never survive the evil disease of Mental Illness? Be prepared when you start this book that you will not want to put it down.

When Lesley finds out her great aunt left her this estate she thinks her luck has finally turned in the right direction until she see it. Its as run down as a place can be. Rosalyn Manor has left a lot to be desired but Lesley decides she can’t kick a gift horse in the mouth so she hires John Hambrie’s construction company to restore it. John is excited to get the business because he is barley holding on as it is. As he begin works the Manor begins to take shape and John and Lesley find an attraction bubbling. I have read a couple of books from this author and she continues to surprise me. I love small town romance but this book exceeded all my expectations. This is the second book to the Finding Love in Green Springs series. You can read this book as a stand alone but there are previous characters in this story as well. I was so excited when I got this book I stopped everything and started to read it immediately. I could not stop reading until the end. The characters will draw you in right from the start. I can’t wait to see what this author will write next.

Love Comes in the Morning was my first novel by Erin Bevan and it was such an amazing read!
Bakersville, Georgia is where Lesley finds herself looking for a fresh start. She just inherited a grand old house from her great aunt and it truly couldn’t have happened at a better time. She has a lot to work out, but she is going to take this fresh start and run with it.
John is a local contractor. Hesitant of city slickers, when his Uncle tells him he needs to take a job for this new lady coming to town he just knows she is going to be a pain. But as soon as he starts to get to know her, maybe he judged her a little too harshly.
John and Lesley are both going through their own personal issues. Each a little bit different, but maybe they will find that they could work on them together. I really enjoyed this story. The author did a wonderful job creating this book world in Bakersville, Georgia. The characters were really great and I didn’t want to out it down!

The story started out with a bang! Interesting and sassy characters but then it fizzled. It became slow and it struggled holding my interest. I didn’t care for the secondary story about the aunt. I see why it was added at the end but at the time I thought it was filler.
The characters building was good but again it just went poof and they seemed to be stuck. Each of these characters had something to overcome. They did work on that a bit as well as try to come to terms with their feelings. I did enjoy the whole dove aspect. That was cute and a way to tie things to the story. The secondary characters were nice too.
Overall it is an ok book. There are elements that are endearing. I felt like it was supposed to be more than just a romance.

Not only do I love Manda Mellett’s books but I love book with an older couple and she gave me both. I completely fell in love with this couple. Miss Mellett brings some of the BEST MC stories and I cannot get enough of them!
I loved Patsy and Lost. Both of them went through immense struggles but Lost always made sure Patsy was taken care of and she wouldn’t lose more.
I love seeing the San Diego chapter of this MC crew. Each series has always hooked me and I cannot wait for more from the San Diego series!!

Romantic and entertaining, Love Comes In The Mourning by Erin Bevan was an addicting read. I struggled to put this captivating novel down. It had excellent characters who grew as the story progressed. It was creative, emotional, and filled with love. This author created a piece with a great plot and climax. It easily kept my attention and my emotions going. I loved this book and I know other readers will as well. I felt it easily deserved five stars. I highly recommend it.

This is a story of a long lost relic, brotherly love, adventure, danger and discoveries. It starts with Adam Hunter at school and up to his usual tricks, he is retrieving something from the teachers office and trying to do it without being caught, when he is back with his friends, one of his least popular teachers is calling his name and as he goes with his usual brand of cheek, they announce that it’s not about something he has done, it is about his older brother. We next see him arriving home to find his mother shouting at some visitors and being as unwelcoming as usual. It turns out that his brother has gone missing from his home, his job and his family and nobody knows where he is.
As the visitors leave, they ask Adam a question about his brother and when he doesn’t give the answer that they are after, they leave, but not without something going missing that belongs to his brother and because of this, Adam figures out where his brother has gone missing and the possible reason why.
Adam’s brother has found the possible whereabouts of the legendary lost Roman 9th Legion and their standard, but because of a warning from his brother, he doesn’t share the information with the visitors who his brother apparently worked with because he doesn’t feel like he can trust them.
As Adam embarks on the rescue of his brother, he defies everyone and goes it alone. He discovers that the way is not as easy as he originally believed and there are some dangers that cannot be fathomed.
This is a thrilling ride where reality, legend and mystery combine to create a journey and opportunity that do not come round very often. A thrilling race and what the outcome will be is anyone’s guess.

I sit here writing this review minutes after finishing this read, and I’m not happy… I’m so frustrated that you ended this book with that ending!
I can’t believe you will now make me wait to found out the fate of not just one character but six of the most important characters in this book! This read had me completely and utterly captivated and entranced from the get-go until the very end! I read this book in one sitting and all I could think about was wanting more!
This book was mentally visual and had transported into this world in which we follow Gabriella’s story. From the moment we meet her I loved her, and throughout the read that just grows, but put her with her two best friends and you can’t help but like her even more, but then comes along Finn, and well that’s a whole other story that you will need to read and find out!
This was an epic fantasy read with characters that are unforgettable and a story that captivates you. We have Second Chance Love, Romance, Friendship, Action, Adventure, Suspense, Heartache, Sadness, Pain, Humor and much more. Gabriella & Finn were definitely on another level from the moment they meet, you can tell nothing will ever be the same again for either of them or their journey they will take. They have an undeniable chemistry that only continues to grow as the story moves forward. But I don’t want to say too much on them, as that would definitely spoil the brilliance of this read!
You will never be bored with this read, it will have you at times on the edge of your seat, wondering what will happen next and even when that happens something else knocks you back again!
I loved every second of this read and I really need to know what happens next! I’ll be eagerly awaiting the next read & you will too! Don’t miss this read!

When you feel the world is against you, your stars align and things work out for the best but will love also finds it way.
Two Hearts Unspoken Targets is a true romantic story involving Zach a retired war vet and Beth a single mother who has a young autistic son, will true love find a way for these two great characters. A chance meeting on a beach Kyle, Beth’s son runs into Zach as soon as their eyes meet they both know something special can happen.
As the story goes on you find out that Zach becomes Kyle’s teacher but as the book unfolds you get to see the insecurities from both Beth and Zach, both not knowing if they deserve happiness.
I have read the majority of the Two Hearts wounded warrior romances and this is my favourite, the characters in this series are flawed but they have the strength and determination to carry on and pursue what they want and need. The characters are always well rounded and written excellently.
The stories are always emotional but you don’t feel pity for the characters Tamara writes about, I always feel like I am living the story with them as a friend hoping and praying this work out in the end.
I recommend this book and the series, if you have read this wonderful author you are missing out.

The Equlizer: Foxxy’s Tipping Point by Allyson Abbott is a story all about one woman set of revenge. Nothing about Foxxy’s life has been straight forward so when she decides on revenge it gives her such a purpose. This book was well written and certainly catches your attention. It was a fairly quick but interesting read. You find yourself wanting Foxxy to achieve her mission. You are drawn to her and everything she is going through. Will she ever be able to get her own happy ending?? I enjoyed this book and would definitely recommend reading it.

Wrapped up in you by Erin Bevan is a fun and lighthearted story. It is perfect for anytime of year, even with the Christmas feel about it. I found this book to be so entertaining. It was amusing and such a fun book to read. I liked that it felt different from the other books that I have read by this author, showing that she is a versatile writer. For me this book is one of those that is absolutely perfect to lose yourself for a few hours. With great characters and a good story line to back it up this is a book well worth reading.

When a dark stranger enters your world and answers all your hopes and dreams, is it just too good too be true?
Foxxy is an escort who has not had a great beginning in life, but when her pimp arranges a hideous act to happen to her she becomes angry and bitter. One night while working she meets Richard who seems like the one person she can trust to get her out of the world in which she finds herself.
Richard believes this woman is the one for him but can he convince her to trust him, things have happened to Foxxy for her to be weary to trust any man but when her roommate is murdered and she believes it is her pimp Eddie has had a hand in it, he will do anything to bring justice.
I enjoyed this story greatly, Foxxy is a character that although she has been through bad things she is still strong, intelligent and brave women. The story weaves through the mystery of her roommate being killed and follows the lines of enquiry as you feel you are with the main characters trying to piece together the motive and answers.The story is fast paced and well constructed and written, this is not the first story I have read by this author and definitely won’t be the last.

This was such a great read, it was a short story but in true Ms Abbott style there was nothing lacking in the storyline. Foxxy was a great character to read about, I really enjoyed her story. The author always does well with her characters development and this story was no exception. There were some emotional moments in the story and they were well written and also a few unexpected twists. I would definitely recommend The Equalizer: Foxxy’s Tipping Point to other readers!!

I loved reading the book The Widow: A Dark Romantic Fantasy by Naomi Valkyrie & Rebecca E. McEwen. It is a story that pulled me in from the beginning and I couldn’t stop until I finished. It is a story that is dark & mysterious. It is well developed and has characters which made the story pop and easy to read. I enjoyed reading about the characters of Vashti and Absalom. Vashti is grieving over the loss of her husband. Absalom is a young man who doesn’t have a place to call home. The way the book is written I could feel the emotions of Vashti and Absalom. Read this book to find out what happens. Don’t miss out on a story that is this entertaining. I would highly recommend reading it.

Oohh another new spin off series from the MC queen Ms Mellett!! This was as I expected another wonderful 5 star read! The authors’ writing for this story was so smooth and effortless – it was a real pleasure to read. I loved the age of the characters too, it’s nice to read stories about a variety of characters and I loved Patsy and Lost – they were really great characters to read about. I really enjoyed the slower pace to this story, its different to what we usually get form this author but 100% perfect for these characters!! I am really excited to read more from the San Diego MC!!

Love Comes In The Mourning is a wonderful romance novel by Erin Bevan. I have read a few books by this author and this one is, by far, my favourite. It needs to come with a ‘tissues required’ warning. I was in tears by the end of the first chapter. Lesley DeLoach has inherited her aunt’s home Roselyn Manor and intends to turn it into a bed and breakfast. Little does she know how dilapidated the house has become. John Hambrice is a constructor who is struggling to keep his business afloat after the death of his wife to cancer the year before. Lesley and John could not be any more different if they tried. Local boy John does not know how to handle feisty city girl Lesley and lets just say that some of their initial encounters are hilarious and highly entertaining. I adored both Lesley and John. John is struggling with the emotions that Lesley brings out in him. He feels guilt that he has these feelings for another woman after losing his wife. Lesley is trying to come to terms with her divorce from cheating ex-husband Peter. This is a fantastic romance story. The writer has written a wonderful storyline with amazing characters. You also can’t help but totally fall in love with John’s 2 children. Be prepared to go through every emotion if you choose to read this book. I would urge anyone considering this book to take the plunge and give it a try.

Boy on Hold by JD Spero. I was so glad I found this story by the late page. It gripped me right from the beginning. The entire time I was so engrossed to all the twists and turns I wasn’t able to put this book down and found myself up way later than planned. Each little detail is so well written and the characters truly draw you in. It’s well paced and written nicely never feeling rushed or lacking anything. I love a story that has me sinking in so completely I forget all about the outside world. And this one definitely did just that. Five stars all the way and highly recommended!

This is my 2nd book by this team of authors and I loved it! The beginning of the book had me literally feeling everything that was going through Vashti’s mind..Her emotions jumped off the pages and were written beautifully! Vashti’s character building might just be up there with some of the best. I truly felt like I knew her, and I could actually see everything she was seeing. This was awesome!!
As the story progressed and other players were brought into the mix, I found myself so engrossed in this story that I could not put it down, and truly did not want it to end. I knew there was more to everything than what I was seeing, I just kept waiting for it. The subtle way this story revealed itself was nothing short of perfection.
These two authors are amazing together and the way they reel you in is so much fun and even though you think you know what’s coming, and even though you might be right, it’s still a surprise when all plays out. I dont have the words to explain all of this correctly but just know that this is a must read, I loved it and will be reading it again, and my hope is that these 2 authors keep going…They are fiercely talented!
