This is not my first book by this author but it is one of my favorites. I enjoyed this suspenseful story. PI Farlow is back in this fast paced story. In this one he finds a FBI Agent shot and dying. Now he is determined to find his killer. You don’t want to miss these twists and turns that will leave you turning pages. This is a well developed story from beginning to end that does a great job of making you feel part of the story. I had no issues connecting to the characters as they brought the story to life. This made a great afternoon read which I highly recommend.
This is my second book by this author which I enjoyed just as much as the first. This is a young adult fantasy story that will take you on an adventure of hidden treasures and secrets. The characters are connectable and made the story easy to read. They kept the story engaging and interesting. They pulled me in from the beginning. A sand storm unveils a lost pyramid but what Adam and his team don’t expect is the evil that wants revenge for disturbing the dead. Who will win this race against time? I really enjoyed this story and the action it brought. I highly recommend this book. Find out what happens to Adam and his team.

I enjoyed this book. This is the second book in this series. I highly suggest reading book one before this one to help enrich your enjoyment of this series. This is a well written story that has details that made me feel as if I was part of the story. The characters made the story easy to read and kept it engaging to the end. There is much going on in this book but the author did a great job of keeping things understandable. Grant’s story continues in this book. He takes you on a magical adventure that will keep you turning pages. I highly recommend this book, find out what happens to Grant and his group next.

that is until her whole universe turns upside down.
Anyone who says being a teenager is easy, lies. It’s even worse when seemingly uncontrollable abilities appear out of nowhere. Puberty is one thing, but what her body is doing—no one ever taught in health class.
That is the exact moment Sarah’s life changes forever, or perhaps it’s because of a talking beaver’s demands for waffles and maple syrup. Either way, things are never going to be the same again.
As a new heroine on the horizon, she is bound to make a plethora of mistakes and you can bet your bottom dollar she’ll be Super Sorry for each and every one of them.
I was diagnosed with clinical depression after the loss of my mother, father and husband within three years of each other; all to cancer. 24/7 in-home care, coupled with the loss I felt, left its mark on my psyche.
Depression takes up a lot of my life. Reading and writing are the only things I have found that help (in connection with regular medication), even if only for a short time. To escape to a different world can make a big difference in my mood in real time.
To put things in perspective, when I was at my lowest point, I couldn’t open mail, talk on the phone, or even drive to the store. Walls of sadness surrounded me. As they closed in, tears would fall. There didn’t need to be a reason or trigger.
People ask me why I started writing. My answer is simple: I wanted to create a world into which other people with similar problems could escape. I wanted to share the one place that had helped me for many years.
I have always said that as long as one person finds a little bit of happiness out of my books, I am, in my opinion, an accomplished author. The same is true for every writer out there. Please don’t ever let anyone tell you different.
I read books as well as write them and have visited the worlds many different authors have created. Those worlds not only make me feel better, but give me the strength to face real life again. I want to thank everyone who writes – I want them to know they are making a difference.
Fast forward to today…

She has excavated in Greece and in Israel, and taught ancient history and humanities at the university level for many years. IRRESISTIBLE – FALL INTO ROMANCE (Irresistible Romance Book 5) Anthology
Two Heart’s Truce by Tamara Ferguson
This is the first book I’ve read by this author, but it won’t be my last. Ferguson has a way of bringing her worlds to you. This is a fantastic read.
Amanda, the little sister to Jeremy, is now living with her brother. When the past comes to the wedding she doesn’t know what to think or who to trust. The quote I chose for Amanda is: “Yes. Let’s start over.”
Jeff, Air Force Sergeant, finds that he’s never gotten over Amanda. At his friend’s wedding he finds that the feelings are mutual. The quote I chose for Jeff is: “So, I have permission to spend the night, since Jeremy and Christine offered to take me to the airport in the morning. The flight takes off at seven. I’m leaving the rental here for you to use until my truck arrives for you. One of my buddies has offered to drive it here with a load of my stuff next week. I’ll probably pack most of it up tomorrow afternoon when I arrive since I had to take such an early flight.”

Pharaoh’s Forgery (Karina Cardinal Mystery Book 4) by Ellen Butler
This book was as good as I knew it would be. Every book in this series just gets better and better. This book is full of mystery, intrigue, suspense, and humor. I love finding out what kind of predicament Karina is going to find herself in and I was given what I wanted in this story. This book can be read as a standalone but all of the books in this series are 5 star reads, so it is my suggestion that you read them all. There are always great characters in each book and this one had some of the characters from other books and we also got to meet new ones. This was a quick read for me because I couldn’t put it down until I found out what happens. I highly recommend this book. This author always does an exceptional job weaving a wonderful story full of unexpected twists and turns.

This is a sequel so the first one in this series needs to be read first to fully grasp this book. We leave off with Rune, who has inherited this bar from her aunt after her aunt passes away. This book picks up 2 months after those events take place and in book one, she meets Saint and the events leading up to has caused Saint to take time to come to grips with it all. And even though she hasn’t seen Saint, Saint turns up when this new adventure hits. Megan has delivered a bright brilliantly costructed story for readers alike to enjoy!!!!

This collection of great love stories. The stories are more than romance. They are full of mystery, suspense, comedy, and love of course. I have found some new authors to read, and some of my favorite ones. Tamara Ferguson is one of my favorite authors. She fills her pages with a little bit of everything. Her characters fly off the pages full of zeal and love. In Two Hearts Truce is a love story that has broken hearts learning to love again. Can you find love after having your heartbroken by the person who is trying to gain your love again?

Pharoah’s Forgery: Karina Goes on Vacation by Ellen Butler is book four of the Karina Cardinal Mystery series. You should definitely read this series in order because Karina finds herself on some pretty epic adventures and you wouldn’t want to miss any of it!
Karina has been in quite a few jams as Michael would say so a girls trip is a no brainer. Of course, Karina should have expected that it wouldn’t be that easy because of course she finds herself in another pickle. This book as well as the others in the series, do a great job of keeping you on your toes. You’re always wondering what happens next! I don’t want to give too much away about Karina’s newest mystery so I’ll just say, you always wonder what’s going to happen next!
The author does a great job of keeping you intrigued. You just have to know what going to happen next! I definitely recommend this book!

Irresistible – Fall into Romance (Irresistible Romance Book 5) is an amazing anthology that brings together some very talented authors. Most of them have been joining forces in other different anthologies so the only one I had not met before was Angela Stevens. It is always great getting a chance to meet someone new and that is one of the reasons why I love Anthologies. There are so many writers I have discovered through them!
The fearless eight of this anthology are my absolute favorite Tamara Ferguson (I think I have read everything she has written) and ten Natalie Ann, Suzanne Jenkins, Cynthia Cooke, Alicia Street, Jen Talty, Patrice Wilton and the newbie (for me) Angela Stevens. They have put together a collection that keeps the heart beating on the true love … You start reading the story and close your eyes and it start playing in front of your eyes like a movie, like a Hallmark move …
I will share my thoughts about my favorite one which was Tamara Ferguson’s Two Hearts’ Truce. It is another instalment in her Two Hearts Wounded Warriors Romance series and that fits perfectly into her Crystal Rock Universe. It brings together, again, after so many years, Jeff and Amanda and hopefully now they are ready … Their story fits also into the craziness of what we have read in her other stories in the series AND we meet some of them again. I love it, it feels like visiting home and meeting up with people you have not seen or heard of for a while.
I have always loved the care that Tamara takes when telling the heart breaking stories of her heroes and heroines … there is this feeling deep inside when I pick up her book, the anticipation … the apprehension … the hope …

Having read previous Anthologies in the ‘Irresistible Romance’ series I was looking forward to reading this latest edition, ‘Fall Into Romance’ and I was not disappointed. This is another great anthology containing eight full standalone stories by eight fantastic authors, some of which I was already a fan of like Tamara Ferguson and others I am happy to have now discovered. My favourite was the first story in the book by a favourite author of mine, Tamara Ferguson called, ‘TWO HEARTS’ TRUCE’. When Air Force Sergeant Jeff Frisco reappears in Amanda Northrup’s life after six years apart he is determined to win her back. However Amanda has devastating secrets which are preventing her from moving on and she does not know if she can trust Jeff despite having put her life on hold for the past six years and been lonely and missing him. As usual I fell in love with Ferguson’s main characters, as Amanda and Jeff were both likeable and relatable and I was cheering them on hoping they would get their happy ending together. A great storyline and plenty of drama in the plot had me hooked from start to finish. Another wonderfully written heartwarming romance by Ferguson and a great start to the anthology. ‘FALLING INTO LOVE’, introduced Ryan Butler who did not have love on his radar and Shannon Wilder who had once been in love and sadly lost her husband. Having moved to Paradise Place with her children to runaway from a stalker she unexpectedly finds love again, is it with Ryan? No Spoilers! ‘BAYOU COTTAGE’ by Suzanne Jenkins, is a second chance at love romance. Maggie Angel’s runs away to Bayou Cottage in the swamp at Cypress Cove following having her heart broken and meets childhood friend and now local vet and wild horse advocate Justin Chastain. I loved these two characters and their journey to romance as for Justin the chemistry was instant but for Maggie who is recovering from a failed marriage she’s a little less keen to admit her feelings for Justin. A good storyline and great characters made this an enjoyable read in the anthology. ‘THE LIES BETWEEN US’ by Cynthia Cooke, had drama, suspense and of course romance when heroine Cat has to save her undercover FBI Agent husband Tom from a drug lord. This was a gripping read and I literally read it all in one sitting as I needed to know how it would end. Alicia Street’s ‘IGNITE MY HEART’ was a heartwarming story about a Nanny, Blake who is unable to have children of her own but falls in love with both her charge, an adorable little girl and her Daddy Morgan. In ‘WHISKEY SOUR’ by Jen Talty, Boone Wilder realises that if he wants to get the woman that he loves, Paget Sour, then he will have to make a few changes of his own. Boone also realises that he will have come clean about a very big lie. However Paget is more worried about looking after her ill father and paying the bills than going on a date with the bartender at her local, even if he does make a great whiskey sour. ‘CUT AND RUN’ by Angela Stevens, was another story that had me gripped from start to finish as along with the romance the plot had plenty of drama and suspense. Molly Sullivan is forced to accept sexy but cocky Jake Massey’s help when her brothers dishonesty means she had to escape from a gang leader who is now after her. This had a hard to love hero and a feisty heroine and I enjoyed seeing how their relationship developed whilst they were in danger. The last story in this enjoyable anthology is, ‘REPLACING BARNIE’ by Patrice Wilton. Career driven divorce attorney Lydia O’Reilley, discovers that her one night stand is actually her new clients soon to be ex husband. Unfortunately her one night with a handsome stranger, Jed, has also led to a unexpected pregnancy. I thoroughly enjoyed this anthology, it literally took me on an emotional rollercoaster whilst reading all the completely different stories but which all had romance at the heart of their storylines. I look forward to the next anthology in the ‘Irresistible Romance’ series.

This is my first book by Maria DeBlassie. Unfortunately for me the narrative I did not like when reading upon finishing I see why the book has been done this way. It is an extremely descriptive book. Its a book where you can curl up with a cup of tea. Learning about the world through nature.

Irresistible – Fall Into Romance anthology is the fifth book in the Irresistible Romance series. This is another great collection of romance stories by various authors who are all brilliant in their own right. As with the other box sets in this series each of these books are different from the other so there is no trouble with telling them all apart and really getting invested in each of the stories. This anthology has a great mix of everything you could want out of romantic stories – great characters, entertaining story and a lot of sweetness and love. I have definitely enjoyed each and everyone of these books and can definitely say you will be able to find something you like. For me this is a great way to introduce yourself to these authors if you haven’t read any of them before and I would suggest getting this box set immediately.

I enjoyed this fantasy story. This is my first book by this author and I look forward to reading more from her. This is an engaging, fast paced story about Mira and Cadoc. Their relationship has had many struggles they must overcome. The question remains, will they be able to overcome the struggles life is throwing at them? I enjoyed their characters. They are well developed and made the story easy to read. They brought their world to life and their struggles felt real. This made a great afternoon read. I highly recommend this book

I enjoyed this book. This is not my first book by this author but it is one of my favorites by her. This is a well developed story that the author’s attention to details made me feel as if I was right there in each of the cities. I felt as though I was traveling right along with the character. I had no problems connecting with the characters as they brought the story and each city to life. This story is about someone selling everything they have to travel around in search of something, maybe romance or maybe themselves. What is found, you will have to read this book to find out. I highly recommend reading this story. It is engaging and fast paced, you won’t regret picking it up.

5 stars! This is the 3rd book in the series, it can be read as a standalone, but take it from me, I read this book first and missed out on a lot of detail and the formation of relationships. I got the gist of it, but I wish I would have read the others first, I will now have to go back and read them since the series is definitely worth it. I love reading romance within the Italian mob style books and this one was awesome. I loved all the drama, action, romance and crazy that this story had to offer. Serena and Giovanni are a great couple, I really enjoyed seeing them interact together. Serena is independent and strong willed and Gio has never had that in a woman, especially in his line of work. Serena will do anything to keep her family and Gio safe, so she assumes the best option is to leave them all to lure the kidnappers to come after her. I love that Gio will stop at nothing to keep her safe and protects her from everything, and how his family also loves her so much as to protect her like one of their own. I thought Serena would annoy me and be more like a needy damsel in distress type, but she is the opposite and her ramblings are just funny to read. I really can’t wait to see what comes next, it looks like there may be a little something going on with Salvatore and a certain nurse? I can only hope!

That Incredible Kiss by Tamara Ferguson Five Stars
That Incredible Kiss is the third book in the Kissed By Fate Series by Tamara Ferguson. This book can be read as a standalone but I highly recommend all of the books by Tamara. I live in northern Wisconsin and I always get a kick out reading her books when she mentions places I know. I have to say I fell in love with this book the moment I started it and it kept me enthralled right until the end. This is definitely my new favorite of Ms. Ferguson’s books. I loved this book. This is one of my favorites by this author yet. This is a well written story that has characters that bring the story to life. I loved being pulled in right from the beginning. One of the things I love about this author is her ability for attention to details. Not only do they make me feel as if I am right there but also part of the story. This story is about Mudesa. She made a plan to make her way to the top and now that she is there, one phone call could change everything for her. Now she is face to face with the past and a hot detective that may have all the answers. Their twists and turns kept me turning pages. Their story is full of romance and magic that you don’t want to miss. I highly recommend this book and this author.
Better To Have Loved by Christy Nicholas is a great story that I found to be very emotional. I was drawn into the story from the moment I started reading it and really fell in love with the characters. For me this was made even better knowing than it was based on true people, it just added a different depth to the story. The author did a brilliant job of letting this story almost tell itself. The journey the characters went through really came through. I felt connected to both them and the story line and really did lose myself in this book entirely. I would highly recommend this book.

Dare Game by Melinda Colt is the first book in the Irish Garda Files series. This is a brilliant mystery book that is full of suspense and intrigue from start to finish. It is the kind of book that I had to read in one sitting because I just had to know what was going on and how it would all play out! This is the first book that I have read by this author and it is one I thoroughly enjoyed! I was completely drawn in but her writing style and thought it was really easy to connect with the characters. I am already looking forward to reading more of this series!

I loved this story. It has adventure, mystery and just goes to show no one is who you think they are. This is the fourth book in the Katrina Cardinal series. It is a great story that keeps you gripped from beginning to end.
In this book we find Katrina going on a holiday to rest and recover. However when her neighbour asks her to bring a package for her to Mexico, Katrina’s peaceful holiday gets turned upside down.
With forgery, a ancient relic and a kidnapping can Katrina solve this case and what is so appealing about the ancient relic that means someone is prepared to commit a crime for it.

Dare Game (The Irish Garda Files #1) by Melinda Colt
This is the first book I’ve read by Colt, but it won’t be my last. This is part of The Irish Garda Files, but can be read as a stand alone. This romance is one you need to read.
Amber, newly divorced and now single mom, moves from NYC to Ireland. Working means she doesn’t have a lot of time with her daughter. When her daughter tells her what’s going on Amber knows what to do. The quote I chose for Amber is: “You’re a real hero, John, you know that? No one else was able to figure out this case.”
John, an Irish policeman, is brought back to the time when his wife was shot. He goes through the neighborhood and finds his new fix. He finds himself falling for Amber and her daughter. The quote I chose for John is: “I’m glad you contacted us immediately after Hayley told you about The Game. This piece will help us solve the puzzle. I’m afraid we’ll have to inconvenience you further. I’m not sure yet, but based on what we know, our computer specialist will have to work from here for a few days.”

Hero High book 4: heartbreak Rebellion I recommend you read books 1-3 first so you will understand this book. We pick up where book three left off, we continue with Friday Fitzsimmons, and her journey. In this story we see her mature greatly. You will enjoy this read, well done by author Mina Chara!

This Irresistible – Fall Into Romance anthology is a collection of Stories by 8 amazing authors: Tamara Ferguson, Natalie Ann Suzanne Jenkins, Cynthia Cooke, Alicia Street, Jen Talty, Angela Stevens and Patrice Wilton. I love when a new one of these anthologies comes out as I get to read some great authors all wrapped up in one neat package. One think I love mot about these anthologies is that they usually contain a book by Tamara Ferguson who has become a favourite of mine over the last year or so. The offering from Tamara Ferguson in this anthology is Two Hearts Truce. I have now read several of the Two Hearts books and I am a huge fan of them. This one was no different as I was hooked from the beginning as it started with a flashback to another Two Hearts couple that I adored in Christine and Jeremy Northrup. The hero couple in this book are Jeremy’s sister Amanda and his sergeant Jeff. I loved reading this second chance romance. Amanda is an amazing character trying to come to terms with a horrific event from her past and is scared of getting into a relationship. Jeff is an amazing guy and the support he gives Amanda is second to none, I just adored him. This is just one great read in this anthology. We are totally spoiled for choice in getting 8 great reads to occupy the autumn evenings.

Playing Series 3 Book Set By Stephanie Queen 5 out of 5 stars
I loved reading the three stories in this collection. They are stories that are romantic and enjoyable to read. They pulled me in from the beginning and I found myself hooked. You are entering the world of the Boston Militia football team. I loved reading about the main characters as well as the additional ones as well. I also loved that some of the characters from each book were brought forward to the next one. I enjoyed the bantering that goes back and forth between the characters. There are friendships and camaraderie as well. There are romantic scenes that make the temperature in the room rise. Also, chemistry, attraction, and passion. There are at times stressful and emotional situations that the characters must deal with. My emotions went up and down throughout the stories. The author has a wonderful way of making both the story and the characters come alive. Don’t miss out on three stories that you won’t want to put down until you finish the final page of each. I highly recommend reading them.
