Everytime I think this author couldn’t do any more to make her a favorite on my list, I read another book by her and fall in love all over again.
I loved the first book in this series and couldn’t wait for this one. This one continues the story which I have found unique and completely awesome. This part centered around Sloane and Luke and of course the vigilante. I love how this one played out and am already chomping at the bit for the next. Not going into too many details because I feel the first book needs to be read to get the full effect. This had just enough of everything you expect when picking up an India Kells book, just enough heat, just enough connection, and awesome secondary characters. The danger had me on the edge of my seat and I read it in one sitting.
Pick up both of these books, you will not be sorry!

Not my first read by King, but my first holiday read for the season. King really keeps a reader’s attention and I love it. High Heels and Mistletoe is the perfect read!
Julietta gets a new client right before her vacation. Her boss needs a new contract signed and he puts her on the job. Until her family curse comes across. Nolan hits this one right out of the park. I was captivated right out of the gate and couldn’t put it down before finishing the last page. The chemistry jumped off the page and lit up the room. Every emotion felt extremely tangible and sincere. I don’t have adequate words to express how much I enjoyed this book without possibly spoiling the story for others. This is one you need to read for yourself.

I haven’t found a book by McKinley yet that I haven’t loved. From the beautiful cover to the captivating book blurb, I knew this was going to be another wonderful literary ride. And I was so right. I loved the journey this took me on and the up and downs I traveled with these characters. Some expected conflict, heated moments, and just some intense chemistry – I loved every page and cannot wait to read this again. Loved it!

This collection of Christmas stories is one that any contemporary romance lover will want to add to their library immediately. The author has done a beautiful job crafting each story, with wonderful characters and enthralling holiday storylines. I enjoyed each short story on its own and the collection in its entirety. A perfect volume for a cozy winter read near the Christmas tree. Loved it!
So I knew going into this story it was going to be a tense read that would really make me think and play with my emotions. I was probably a little underprepared though lol. I have to say this book is very well written and engaging but be prepared to want to scream and cry all at once more often than not while reading. I have had very dear friends of my struggle with eating disorders and this book really captures what it is like to not only live with one yourself but the way this impacts family and friends and others too. I was very much wrapped up in Matt, our main character’s story. He brings a fresh new light to the concept because this doesn’t get addressed nearly as much with males who can just as much be impacted with eating disorders as a female. Matt has to take quite the journey and will deal with loss in ways that will tear your heart out. I won’t really give much more details but this is one you really must read. I do look forward to seeing what else will come from Molly Fennig, I have not before read her work and this definitely sucked me in and made me want to see more.
High Heels and Mistletoe by C.A. King is a brilliant take on a holiday romance by on of my favourite authors. This book is completely different from everything I have read by this author previously and I absolutely loved it!! I think it has to be one of my favourites by far. The story is sweet and entertaining, more than once I found myself chuckling at what was happening on the pages in front of me. I loved the interaction between the main characters. They had such a chemistry and was evident right from the word go. I was instantly invested in their story and really wanted them to find their happy ending. The story itself was entertaining and well developed. This is the kind of book that you have to read in one sitting because you lose yourself so easily in the story. I would highly recommend this book to anyone!

I have always loved Amy McKinley’s romance novels so when I saw this newest one dropped and was a novella length read I scooped it up without even thinking twice. I love how this book was a novella, short and sweet, but you still felt as if you got a whole full length novel. This book packs a big punch in a small package. McKinley has always brought the emotion and flare to her characters and Adeline and Stone do not deviate from this. They are complex characters. I loved the push and pull between these two and how we got to see it from both of them in different ways. I felt as if I was reading about a real set of people being thrust into a situation that is bound to have some laughs and very much so has the ability to be disastrous. This is one you will not want to miss! I cannot wait to see what we will get next from Ms. McKinley!

I sincerely love when these two get together and write these amazing and gripping novels that I soak up like my favorite drink on a hot day. HUNTED is the first in a new series from Sarah Biglow and Molly Zenk. These two always create these worlds that carry you away and make you feel as if you are right there with the characters as you read. I will be honest though, vampire books and movies, etc, are not my fav… I know how could I but honestly to me this is a trope that is overplayed usually…. NOT the case here. This felt fresh and adventurous, and most of all it felt as if it could have been real and believable. I was swept up into this world where vampires walk amongst us and we don’t deny it. Unfortunately, for them they still need to protect themselves from being hunted and eradicated. I loved the characters in this and was completely engrossed from the very first chapter until the final few words of the last. I cannot wait to get my hands on the next novel and see where it will take me!

Amy McKinley has a way of bringing characters to life in such a quick novella. Adeline and Stone couldn’t be more different. This book shows a different way in which Office romance can happen. I like how we got to read from each character POV. Other relationship’s and dynamics are also shown which further impact’s this storytelling. Pasts can have an ugly way of revealing themselves in the most awkward situations. This is a real enjoyable feel good book.

This book starts at the ruined Poenari Castle in Romania where it is pouring with rain and cold and a small group have gotten past the local armed forces guarding it and have managed to climb the seemingly endless staircase to get to it, it is rumoured to contain the long lost treasure hoard of an infamous Prince, but when they discover a couple of old coins in the ruins as well as an old silver chalice with an unusual engraving, they are hopeful that they will find it, but that is until all the lights go out around them and they are viciously attacked.
Forty years later, a Professor and friend of the leader of the Relic Hunters of the British Museum Charles, start to receive threatening phone calls and letters and their office and house are ransacked, they decide to call Charles and ask for his help, while in a taxi on their way to the museum, they are attacked by a masked man and his mercenaries. They are nearly rammed off the road multiple times, they are peppered with gunfire and when the taxi is finally overturned and they are dragged from it with a gun pressed to their head, just in the nick of time, Adam and Emma of the hunters come to their rescue and take them to the museum after Charles received their messages for aid.
As the trio enter the museum, the Professor is astounded to see the part of the underground area of the Museum they are being led through, but are not happy when they find out that Charles isn’t there, but are happy to find out that the team will still help them. As the Professor explains what the people were after her for, it turns out that it is the diary of one of those attacked in Romania and that she bought through an auction, after it had finally been made public. As its contents are revealed and the location within it are discussed, the team come to a decision to go to the castle in question with the Professor and help them that they will set off there as soon as they are ready, but this is where the danger starts, secrets are revealed and paths cross in a most mysterious way.
This is yet another fantastic installment in the Relic Hunters series and one full of twists, turns, mysteries and action which well and truly sucks you in, but will the Hunters be able to overcome their latest adversary or will this plea for help be one they can’t fulfil?

I love reading Christmas themed romance stories and this book did not disappoint! C.A King brought the story to life with her characters, writing style and originality. Julietta and Luke’s romantic story captured my attention instantly. They are complete opposites, yet perfect for each other.

Cuckoo Clock – New York is the third book in Elisabeth Marrion’s Unbroken Bonds Series. I have not read the other books in this series and would say this can be read as a stand-alone story.
Cuckoo Clock – New York is a fascinating story. Set in World War Two, it gives an insight to people’s lives throughout the war. We know of many heroic stories from the war, but there are so many tales yet to be told. This story focuses on Esther, a doctor, who in 1938 must quickly leave Germany. On her journey she meets a group of children from an orphanage, we follow her and people she meets along the way as they help get the children safely through war-torn Europe. This story is full of emotion, it captures the fear and bravery that everyday people showed each other during this horrific time. The book is fast-paced, I moved surprisingly quickly through it. The wonderful characters make you fall in love with this story, I was thoroughly invested almost right from the start. I will definitely go back and read the other books in the series.

While this isn’t a genre I normally go for these books definitely pack a punch! These are full of action, adventure, mystery & suspense. This author has created such a descriptive read that is mentally visual throughout. Each read has unbelievable twists and turns that keep you on the edge of your seat leaving you wondering what could happen next. These reads have had me captivated and entranced non-stop and thoroughly enjoying the characters we have been introduced to and their journey’s they have faced in each read. If you want fast-paced, action-packed read then this is the series you should pick up, you will not be disappointed. I can’t wait to see where else this author takes this series, I’ll eagerly be awaiting more!

The Scepter of Flint is my favorite Lord Hani mystery so far. I enjoyed the dual issue of both a high profile tomb robbery and the political ramifications of investigating foreign diplomats as potential suspects. I’m also a huge fan of the time period, set during the reign of the immortally glamorous queen Nefertiti and her notoriously unpopular husband, Akhenaten. This is one of the most interesting historical points in Ancient Egypt, and you get to explore both the events of the time and N.L. Holmes’ layered plot and fun characters.

Martin Ferguson’s Blood of the Dragon is the fourth book in his Relic Hunters series. The series, aimed at young adults, uses action archaeology with supernatural twists to bring readers exciting adventures that straddle both historical and modern worlds. Blood of the Dragon concerns itself with Vlad the Impaler, the real historical Count Dracula. When Professor Melissa Moore is nearly killed over some historical texts she has acquired, which hint at where the Impaler’s treasures might be hidden, she turns to the British Museum’s skilled team of Relic Hunters for help on a mission that leads them to Romania, amongst other places. I particularly like the way the story jumps between the present and the past. Some chapters are set in the modern world, whilst others are set in the past giving an account of Vlad the Impaler’s history from his own perspective. This is entertainingly educational and also builds tension as we wonder what connection this history has to the strange events the team has got themselves caught up with in the present. I’m happy to give this book five stars – reading it was like watching an action movie (think Indiana Jones, The Mummy etc.). I would recommend it to young history fans, and readers who wish YA vampire stories were a bit less romantic!

Martin Ferguson is at it again with another AMAZING addition to this amazing series. i fell in love with Martin’s writing from book one. This series has only gotten better as it goes! It will keep you on the edge of your seat page after page. It’s overflowing with action, amazing characters, stunning character development, and amazing writing. This is the fourth book in The Lord Hani Mysteries Series. Holmes has done it again. She knows how to capture a reader’s attention. I can’t wait for more of her work.
Lord Hani is conflicted. He wants to protect his family, but he also has a job to do. Things aren’t easy for him and he doesn’t know what to make of it. The King’s attention and the Queen’s new task is taking a lot out of him.

Unwrapped is a great contemporary BWWM romance by Evelyn Sola. Having not previously read any of Evelyn Sola’s work, I was unsure what to expect but the blurb of this book had me very intrigued and I just had to give this book a chance. What I got was a book that totally grabbed me and had me totally engaged with the story right up to the very end. This is a really great story that I’m sure will be enjoyed by many. When 36 year old Nick Bain takes over his uncle’s business while he convalesces the last thing he expects is to become smitten with the gorgeous 23 year old daughter of one of his employees. An employee who absolutely hares him with a passion. Miranda’s mum cannot stand her new boss and boy do her family know this! So how will Miranda cope when she meets and falls for said boss. Let me add that this book is very steamy!! I loved this story. There is so much humour coming the way of Miranda’s mum. Believe me, you are left in no doubt just exactly how much she hates Nick. Her constant rants had my laughing along with this book. I loved both the characters of Nick and Miranda and the way that the author dealt with their mixed race relationship and the age gap between them. The story is very well written and flows well, keeping the reader engaged throughout. I look forward to reading more from Evelyn Sola.

This is a quick holiday read. I enjoyed this story, the laughs, romance, great characters and a little bit of magic. This is a book I read in one sitting because I needed to know what was going to happen between Julietta and Luke. These two characters are opposites and they are definitely attracted to each other, but is that enough for them to become romantically involved? If you want to find out then you need to read this book. I was put right into the holiday spirit with this story and I recommend it.

This is a great story with plenty of intrigue, suspense and twists. I hadn’t read any books by this author or the previous books in this series, which would have probably helped establish the characters better. Still, I grew to understand the characters Jack and Frances quickly. I also loved the setting of a voyage to England from Australia, as an Australian being able to understand many of the cultural references, and the historical details were a delight. It’s a kind of cozy read and highly entertaining. Having enjoyed this story, I would read the other books in this series now.

This is the 4th book in the Lord Hani Mysteries series. I really can’t praise these books enough. They are full of Ancient Egyptian history and mystery which are my two favourite things. The authors knowledge of the time period is very good and they really give you a sense of what life would be like in the times of Ancient Egypt.
Lord Hani is back and when he is honoured by the king he wonders why? All through the kings reign Lord Hani has been a thorn in the kings side so why now is he being honoured. Things aren’t what they seem of that Hani is sure.
Add to this a task he is asked to complete with means getting his daughter involved in court politics and Hani struggles to protect her and keep her out of things.
Why did the king give him this honour? Can he protect his daughter and stop the court politics from involving her or is it too late to protect her anymore.

Let me start this by saying that I read this entire book in one sitting. It is such an easy read and the way that the characters are written, it leaves you wanting to know more. I love that the author took the time for us to appreciate the main characters as individuals first before unfolding this love story. I started rooting for them from the very beginning. I won’t give anything away but it’s worth the read for sure!

5 Stars Dreaming of Christmas: 5 complete, sweet holiday romances by Joanne Dannon I absolutely loved this book of five complete sweet holiday romances. Each story has heart warming moments that are sure to have you believing in Christmas Magic. I found myself lost in the pages all while curled up under a blanket on the couch .So if you’re looking for a sweet holiday romance I highly recommend this book. I look forward to reading more from this Author.

Dreaming of Christmas by Joanne Dannon was a good 4 star read.

A Magical Christmas in Jerusalem, Kiara is going on a trip her grandmother had always wanted to take with her grandfather, spend Christmas in Jerusalem. Kiara ends up meeting a very handsome man (Jacques) that turns out to be one of their tour guides. When he takes her on special little trips they start to connect and fall in love. Will these two follow their hearts or is this only a holiday romance?
Another Magical Christmas in Jerusalem, Tom is in Jerusalem to celebrate his friend’s wedding. When he meets Lucie they have an instant connection. He’s not used to large families and is slightly overwhelmed by hers. Lucie has always dreamed of being a writer and having a family as well. Can these two get a HEA?
Christmas Kiss, New Year’s Wish, Taylor has a secret crush on her best friend of 20 years. Luca has returned from working at NASA and shares with her that he has been asked to do another two-year contract. When they unexpectedly share a kiss, things start to swirl in Taylors head and Luca is confused as well. Could he feel the same way she does? Can these two have more than a friendship?
Christmas Kiss in London, the way that Amber meets works in a clinic helping couples conceive and start families and she has been thinking more and more about her future. After a Christmas party where she met someone annoying and pretended to friend him on Facebook, she ends up getting a private message from the man she did friend and from there they start talking. They connect on so many levels and when she goes to visit him sparks fly. Will they continue as friends or go for more? I really liked these two, this was my favorite story in this collection.
Christmas Kiss: But only for the holidays, Jenna is a model down on her luck and currently back at her parents house. With the holidays coming she has to pretend she’s happy or her mother will try and set her up with someone. Leo has found himself single and needs to find someone to be his date for several events. The last person he wants to ask is his friend Jenna but he runs out of options. Jenna wasn’t thrilled to see Leo, he’s boring and not her type. But when he makes her an offer she can’t refuse she agrees to help him. As they spend more time together the closer they get. Can these two opposites have a HEA?
Overall I really enjoyed all of these holiday romances. Each couple was great and the authors pulled you right in with their writing. If you’re looking for a great collection to read, 1-click and get started today.
Romance author Brooke May spends her days writing whatever her overactive imagination has brewed up and her evenings reading while she works alongside her mom. Telling stories is second natural to her, from a young age she has told anyone who would listen what she had thought up.
