Athalie (Sacrificial Chronicles Book 1) by Jordan Elizabeth – Review by Gail Guerrero

Four stars

Wow, is really all I can say. I literally imagined that this is how they lived in this time. There is so much to unpack in this story. Athalie is chosen as the sacrifice. But she knows it’s a mistake. Since she was a child she heard voices on the wind. Those voices carrying the truth and lies of the people. I was not expecting this story to hold my attention like it did. I dislike when people follow someone blindly. Never questioning if it’s right or wrong. I was excited that Athalie puts up a fight. This was definitely an eye opener. She shows real empathy to most people.
