This dystopian fantasy was a surprising treat. It is a dark adventure in a desert setting that explores some very interesting ideologies. I really liked how the book started and how immediately the reader is thrust into struggle and action. A very compelling piece of fiction, it sets up a world that I will gladly visit again. I look forward to seeing how this author continues this series.
