My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Isle of Wings: A Silverglen Companion Novel by E.A. Burnett is a well written YA fantasy story that will have you interested from the word go. The author has created a story that is not only exciting to read about but is unique with strong characters as well. It is an easy story to get in to and is definitely and easy book to read – at times it almost felt like the pages were just turning themselves. This book is definitely one that is all about the characters. They have such a presence that they carry the whole story with ease. I really found myself connecting with them and could easily picture what was going on.
This is a very good book and one that I throughly enjoyed. I would recommend it to anyone who is a fan of this genre. I am looking forward to reading more by this author in the future.
